The small, old, Asian woman in the front is really rude and I'm very careful about throwing out this comment but she seems a bit racist. She asked me if I was clean before going off about why they couldn't dry clean or alter my suit the same day even though it's clearly called, "Same Day Cleaners". This place is awful, awful, awful. Do not go there unless you are white, Asian or a person of color wearing a tuxedo. I've been going to this cleaners because it's close to my house, but unfortunately, I've had some disappointing experiences. The woman at the front desk is consistently rude and unwelcoming, which makes it uncomfortable every time I go in. Even though they're called "Same Day Cleaners," I wasn't even asking for same-day service--just next-day or reasonable turnaround. Still, it's often delayed or unclear when things will actually be ready. The one positive is the husband who helps run the place--he's friendly, helpful, and seems to care about the customers. It's just unfortunate that the overall experience doesn't reflect that consistently. I hope they can improve on communication and customer service, especially at the front counter. If you decide to bring your clothes /item to this location, my only suggestion is to make sure to take 'before' pictures and to examine your clothes in front of them before leaving. My personal experience with this business has been fine until my last experience. I brought a pair of Jean pants and shorts to fix the zipper on both. Since I've never had an issue before i didn't think to check them. A week after picking them up i finally decide to wear the Jean shorts and as soon as i zipped up my shorts, i noticed the zipper was broken. I figured I'd just take them back and tell them what happen. I was a bit annoyed but it wasn't that big of a deal. When i went to the cleaners to tell them i had just picked up these shorts not too long ago, and i told them what happen, the lady wanted to charge me the full price to fix what they never fixed. I was very patient and trying to explain and even showed her my bank statement that showed the date, price and their business name . After asking if she could fix it without charging me since i had just paid for this service and was never fixed, she got upset and began to yell at me to get out and go to another cleaners. Instead of trying to resolve the issue , her and the man in the back both stared yelling to get out even after i tried to explain. I never raised my voice and just let them know this was bad business. I'm very disappointed. So just check your clothes before you leave. read more

I went here a few times because it's convenient in the area but I took a skirt set to them to wash (it's red and white) I took it to a different dry cleaners before and it was fine. When I picked it up all the white parts turned pink/red and I basically can't wear it anymore since it's not the right colors. They were saying that the color bled and they couldn't fix it. I understand that they can't fix it now but they usually examine each piece of clothing when dropping off so if you had any doubts that you can clean it why didn't they say anything? I would've brought it back to my other place. Then I asked for the skirt to be discounted since it was ruined but I'll pay the rest. But the main lady owner crossed her arms and was mad at me and the skirt. Lol why are you mad at me when it's not my fault. The money isn't an issue it was the fact that the item is ruined. Then one of their customers who watched the whole thing said to "clean it with hot water before taking it here" WHY would I clean it before taking it to the dry cleaners? I said that was the whole point of taking it to the professionals. Either way I was cordial and still paid for everything but will NOT be coming back. Would NOT recommend. read more

Called beforehand to see if they could fix a zipper on a backpack and they told me they could and quoted me $20. As soon as I show up with the backpack the woman who works there waves me off with their hands yelling no. I explained that I called first and the man tried to take a look at the item I brought in while the lady started frantically yelling for him to give it back to me. Their quality of work is the worst, but their customer service is even worse!! They lost my pants. What would you do as the business owner in this case? At least apologize and give options to solve the issue, I assume. Not in this case! The owners are rude, barely speaking English (or pretending so, because all the f*** words - oh, they know them for sure lol). She is the worst person to ever do business with.. I needed to patches put on my vest she was so rude and unprofessional I didn't understand what she was trying to say to me she was speaking her language... She treated me like she was doing me a favor she gave me my vest back and my patches and walked away...I will never do business with this cleaners ever again, and I suggest all you hard working Americans do the same. Totally DISAPPOINTED. I bought a new rug for the living room but my puppy had an accident so I brought it to same day CLEANERS. They are super close to home so it was all about connivence. I showed them the exact area I needed treated, said no problem and charged me $80. It's a large rug 5x7 so $80 seemed reasonable for what I originally paid for it. We picked it up days before Thanksgiving and decided to keep it up stairs still rolled up and wrapped in its plastic covering that it was returned to us in until the holiday feasting was over. I noticed a pee pee smell coming from the rug, opened the plastic wrapping and verified that the smell was definitely coming from the rug. What the hell? I just picked this rug up a week ago and haven't even used it - it's still wrapped up and everything! So of course I brought it back. Trying to talk to these people isn't the easiest (they speak VERY little English) and geeze are they rude! They tried to charge me $100 more dollars since they had to take it to a larger dry cleaners to have it cleaned and even then there is NO GUARANTEE. Why did you take the job on in the first place? Charge me money and can't even do a decent job? It's the same as when I brought it in. I'm in the service industry and when someone isn't happy with a service you either try to fix it, free of charge or are given a refund - for reputation sake. Instead, the guy picked up my rug off the counter (aggressively I might add) put it in his arms and stomped out to my car and waited by the back of my car so I could open the trunk so he could throw my rug inside. The lady was nice and very smiley to me but the gentlemen obviously has had some bad experiences and is a very bitter person. Yeah the price is reasonable here but don't forget, you get what you pay for. I've been going here for few months and they are some really awesome people here. Customer service is great and dry cleaning is awesome and some really great prices. I had two pairs of pants an sweater dry cleaned, $10.75!!!! I'm fairly new to the dry cleaning biz. In my old neighborhood I was used to paying $50 to $60 every two weeks for 6 items. This place does same day cleaning if you bring it in by 7am and don't charge you extra! A real find and great business with great people. Unless, I move really far away, I'll probably be coming back here for a while. read more

Well,I recently started a new job so my husband bought me 15 new suits...enough to rotate for a couple of weeks. We brought them here for alterations because it's our neighborhood cleaners and he has been patronizing since 1998 with an average weekly bill of $60+. A few years back the ownership changed and he continued to patronize. I picked up my suits and discovered on 5 of my pants the left sides were shorter than the right sides (1/4"-1"). I returned with the pants to have them corrected. I had the woman that does the alterations measure my pants leg and told her I wanted the pants to be the same length on both sides. I put on two pants to show her how uneven the pants were and after taking them off she measured the differences. After trying on the third and showing her the 1" difference I placed my pants on the counter and she asked me if something was wrong with my legs (insinuating 1 leg was longer than the other). I told her the length of my legs have been the same since high school (I'm in my 40's imagine a growth spurt since the alteration). I just wanted my pants to be the same length on both sides. After several minutes of her saying the pants were right and me saying the pants were uneven, I gathered my poorly altered clothes and left the location....Never! to return again. Last words my husband told me was- 16 years of a good customer gone. read more
