This company was dispatched by my home warranty company (AHS) after nearly a month of non-response from the first AC company based in Brentwood. This was a difficult problem to diagnose. This is a heat pump that was no longer cooling, in the midst of a very hot summer, no less. It had several different components that had gone bad, plus a refrigerant leak. Sanad was very professional, courteous, and systematic in his approach to diagnosing the problem. Eventually, he ended up replacing the capacitor, the compressor, and some valves, plus new refrigerant (R22 is expensive). Unfortunately, AHS only pays $10/lb for new refrigerant, only about 1/9 of the cost. Not Same Day's fault at all. They worked diligently in the broiling heat outside and always managed to maintain a positive attitude and a smile on their faces. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for AC work. read more

I was having an issue with my furnace wherein it cycles every 3-4 minutes when turned on. Essentially, it stops then starts up again repeatedly before hitting the target temperature. I found Same Day Air Conditioning & Heating and they came on the same day I inquired to have my furnace serviced. Sanad and his partner cleaned my furnace, replace the filter and did a diagnostic test. It was unfortunate that the issue wasn't fix the first time given the problem he found involves the limit switch. He came back after a couple of days, ran further diagnostics, replaced the limit switch and checked the vents for carbon monoxide while the furnace was running. And now it's fixed! Couldn't be happier as now my furnace is all set for the winter season. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Would have gave 5 stars but technician arrived later than scheduled. However, technician did call ahead to give me the heads up but still arrived a little bit later than the time he specified. Omar and Baker were on site and although they arrived late the service was very good, price is fair and very respectful of the property including wearing booties when entering the home. I would recommend them to others and I will be calling them again in the future for any heater related issues. They were able to come out pretty quick where other HVAC repair companies were either too busy or charging ridiculous prices and they don't service on saturdays whereas "Same Day" does! We had a very positive experience with Same Day Air Conditioning & Heating. When our very old heater stopped working, Mohammad from Same Day came out and diagnosed the problem - he concluded that because the only way to fix the problem would be to replace a part that was no longer available since our heater was so old, and as a result he didn't charge us the standard diagnostic charge since they couldn't fix the problem. They gave us a good price on a new heater and Irrael's team installed it quickly in our house. They actually nicked a few of our walls getting the old heater out of the house, and sent Abe and Sahel out to our house to fix the damage. Abe and Sahel did a great job - they came out very promptly, fixed the wall damage (including bringing a paint sample that perfectly matched our walls), and even touched up some other spots on our walls that they saw since they had the extra paint. We're very happy with the service we've gotten from Same Day and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC repairs or replacements. read more

The heater went out last night and when I called this morning at 7:30, although they were very busy, they gave me a 4 hour window on the same day. Still within the window, they called to say they were coming and arrived 10 minutes later. After putting on clean booties, they came and diagnosed the heater and gave me quote. Price seemed a bit high to me, but they were able to fix it right away, which is why they are the professionals and I needed their help. They both had very nice manners and were very friendly. Our AC stopped working and we were assigned Same Day Air Conditioning & Heating by our home warranty provider (AHS). The start was great - Sam gave us a call the same day and we we were scheduled for an appointment for the next day (a Saturday even - so no need to take the morning off!) Sam came in on time and took a look at our unit and told us that he wouldn't be able to fix and he'd need to file that report with AHS. This was on a Saturday so he said we should expect to hear back Monday at the earliest. That sounded fine to me. (He did take his $75 service fee - which I would have been fine with since he did make the visit but then given that he didn't fulfil his promise..well, makes me feel like I've been ripped off). Monday came and went. Life happened and when I finally got around to calling AHS about 10 days later, I was told that no report had come in. They would follow up with the vendor. Fast foward to 1 month later - still no report, a call every 3-4 days from me to AHS to follow-up, multiple calls from AHS to the vendor to find out what was holding them up, several promises from John and Sam about getting the report in soon - and one still-not-working-AC-in-the-middle-of-the-August-heatwave. All it would've taken for them to avoid leaving me with a poor experience and not get a low rating would've been a report saying they couldn't complete the job. I can see, based on the other 5 star reviews on Yelp, that our experience appears to have been an outlier. But based on our single interaction, I wouldn't take a chance with Same Day Air Conditioning & Heating. read more

Perfect A/C repair performed on the same day!!! Our A/C wouldn't start today and they came out right away. They came exactly when they said they would and even texted me a link to track the technician in real time which worked perfectly. Sanad quickly got to work and had the problem fixed in no time. I caught their boss telling his employee to tell me that there was no problem, however, there was. He tried to speak in a different language without knowing I knew the language. This company is a fraud. Setting up appointments, but not showing up. When you remind them that they're mandated to show up within the pre-scheduled four-hour window, the owner threatened to cancel the contract with the home insurance company. When I did go for his threat, he simply declined service. Watch out for this company and stay away from them as far as possible. They also operate under M S Services. The owner doesn't care about the law and believes he can screw customers. Definitely not a sustainable business. That's why they change their operating name often. read more

I didn't like the way, I was treated so I called, Same Day. Sam gave me a firm time, 7:00 am and he was able to determine that the old furnace needed a part replacement.
