Our heater has been working on and off for the last couple of weeks and totally stopped working a few days ago. I was so happy when the person who answered the phone told me they could send someone out today (I called several other HVAC companies that were totally booked). Our technician was Sanad and he was prompt, professional and was able to get our heater working. He showed me how to properly install the filter and he wasn't pushy with trying to sell me extra services that I knew we didn't need. I contacted my Warranty company about my AC not working and was contacted by Same Day Heating & AC. They set up an appointment for last Wednesday and even sent a app to follow on a map for the service tech arrival. The tech Omar was very professional and knowledgeable . They arrived onetime and even put booties over there shoes. They were able to trouble shoot my AC unit which had a bad control unit which had to be ordered. Sam from the office called the next day letting us know the part would be about a week out. They came out today with the new part and all is working again. My furnace stopped working (The full flame won't come on, only the pilot flame). I have home warranty. After I requesting service through the warranty company, it was dispatched to Sanad and another guy from Same Day Air Conditioning & Heating. After I told them what the problem is. First thing they told me is that there are some code violations with my furnace installation. Something about hot pipe and the power outlet. Without it, they are not allowed to do anything with my furnace, blah blah. I then ask them to at least check what the problem is with my furnace which they did. Turned out that the flame sensor was dirty which is what I suspect (thanks to google). They actually cleaned it a little bit and I saw the furnace was able to turn on. They then asked me whether I want to replace the pipe and the outlet. I asked them how much, they said $200 for the one foot long metal pipe and another $200 for the outlet. It sounds like a rip off so I said no. And I saw a 180 degree turn in Mr. Sanad's altitude. He did something for a few seconds then told his coworker "come on, let's go" and stormed out. I went out and argued with him for a few minutes. He then told me that they need to obtain authorization from my warranty company and asked me to sign a piece of paper. I asked him whether I'll need to pay another $100 service fee for them to come back later (Home warranty company charged $100 for every visit), he said no. The same work order will remain open for 2 months. I went back and check the furnace and it stopped working again (only the pilot flame). So apparently Mr. Sanad undid what he has done or did something else to render my furnace non-functional again. One day later, as I didn't hear anything back from my warranty company, I went online and found out that my work order has been closed and marked "fixed" and I was charged $100. I understand Mr. Sanad didn't want to fix it for free. But his claim of contacting my warranty company for authorization and no additional service charge is a flat-out lie. read more

Also included that a full system clean-up was recommended. Price quoted was high but maybe because they're more of the same day service and their competitors were scheduled a few days out. Quote also covered the work for the next 5 years. Omar was curious and helpful and gave me his personal number for any issue later on if it occurred. My gas furnace stopped working on Sunday. After I tried to diagnosed the problem myself, I was hoping it was only the flame sensor. I replace the $15 flame sensor part myself, but it was still not working. After further research, I concluded that was either the board or gas valve. I called 3 companies including this company. I called Same Day Air Conditioning and Heating on Thursday about 1pm. The manager (sorry, I forgot your name) was very courteous. I described the problem and my diagnostic steps to him. Based on my verbal description, he concluded either the circuit board or gas valve needed replacement. He gave me rough estimate on both jobs. I told him that I will call back. I called again around 3pm on the same day. They only had opening between 12pm and 4pm. I said that time would not work for me. If they had opening earlier on Friday that would be better. Instead, he said what about today, Thursday, between 4pm and 6pm. After being in multiple really cold nights (just my luck, when the furnace broke, the weather was almost at record low for multiple days and nights), I instantly agreed. Sanad and his apprentice (sorry, I did not get your name), came about 4:50pm. They diagnosed the problem, and told me that the gas valve needed to be replaced. They gave me verbal estimate saying the price of the part and hourly labor cost. I agreed. They told me they could fix it at that time, if they have the part in their van/truck. They did have the part, so they proceed with the repair job. They completed the job within 1 hour which included replacing the gas valve and testing the repair for about 3 times. Some feedback for improvement (I would not remove any star because it does not have anything to do with their quality of service). - The dispatch site they use gave great first impression. It showed the location of the technician. However, it did not update, even after the technician showed up at my door. - The verbal quote by giving the hourly labor cost without the estimate time needed to complete the job makes me feel a bit uneasy (sorry, this is my "OCD" side talking). I had to for the estimated time to complete the job. It would be better for me, if the estimated job duration was provided up front. Therefore, the estimated total cost can be provided up front as well. If it can be written, it would even be better. Overall, this company has integrity and provides quality service. read more

I really appreciate Same day air conditioning & heating on fixing my furnace/duct issues. Long story short, we discovered the furnace is broken and called our home warranty company, they contacted Same Day Air - Baker came over and did an inspection and fixed the furnace on the spot. - He also noted that our furnace needs new insulation and duct was leaking/falling apart. - However, when he submitted the report back to our home warranty company, our home warranty company refused to cover (I understand they don't cover insulation but they should be covering duct but they refused to read the report again). So I ended up contacting Same day air again and was talking with an "awesome" customer service lady (her name was "punan" or something). She was so patient and she actually stayed late long after her normal working hours trying to help me by contacting my home warranty operation department directly. After few rounds of back-n-forth, the home warranty still refused to pay for it. Finally, she directed me to the owner Sam who totally gets my frustration and actually offered to send another tech over (Sanad) the very next day for FREE! He basically told me not to worry and Sanad will fix everything (duct leak and thermostat) and he is willing to amend the home warranty tech report if needed. - Next day, as requested Sanad called 30 mins before arrival and was very professional and understood our issues. He then went in and fixed everything!! I just want to say not all businesses actually care about their customer but in my experience with Same day area, they do care deeply about customer experience and they are willing to go-above-and-beyond to resolve your issue. It's also not easy to find a business where ALL of the employees care about your situation starting from the phone desk lady up to the business owner. I would definitely recommend them to others and will keep them as my go-to HVAC guys going forward!. read more

Had a great experience with Feras in repairing our furnace. It was a repeat visit and the problem was very minor and took just a couple of minutes but since we could not open and check the furnace (under our home warranty) we didn't know that. The company could easily have charged us the regular visit fee, but they waived it. This review is based on my experiences with Mohammad at Same Day Air..... Mohammad came out originally a few months ago and got our compressor to start working again which was great. However, now the unit stopped cooling again and Mohammad had came and replaced the capacitor however about 30 mins later I realized the unit was still not working and not cooling the home. I contacted Mohammad who at this point was already over 30 miles away. Mohammad promised he will drop by again after he is done with a few more service calls and he sure did as he promised. He determined the compressor is bad and needs replacement. The rest is on the home warranty company to see what part they cover so waiting on a response from them. Mohammad was professional each and every time and I highly recommend the company and based on my experience with Mohammad I'm sure all the contractors follow the same positive attitude as Mohammad. Also whenever I called to schedule an appointment I was treated with respect and courtesy. Appointment was set up quickly and sooner than I had expected. So far a great experience! read more

Sarad (Samad?) was great fixing my 3-level HVAC system! He throughly diagnosed everything -- each of 3 thermostats, the outlets (registers?) on every floor and, of course, the furnace, blowers, operating panel and mechanics. He found a bad (stuck) actuator that was causing the air to go to the wrong floors, installed a new one, and tested the entire system. It now works correctly. Sanad Alhomeedi was the tech who took care of our service today and he was on time and completed repair of AC leak same day. The prior tech / service took one week to determine problems and diagnose the repairs and get the proposed estimate denied from our home warranty company. Sanad explained how he would repair the coil instead of replacing the coil which would require labor, duck work and more time and expense. I was pleasantly surprised when his old school training and weld repair sealed the existing coil. After spending a fortune to replace the freon it could be argued the replacement may have been worth home warranty consideration..however 90 degree temps are coming in a few days and it is nice to know we have AC working. If we have more leaks, Same Day will be back to repair. read more
