I contacted this company in an emergency to help my parents. What we found was: Independent contractors are sent out. Estimate given was for a complete repair. Once my dad shared the estimate of 5k with me I questioned it. He called the company and the man who answered looked at the invoice and said "this is the most expensive job a person could have." He was generous (I guess) in understanding the stop payment on the check and not moving forward. Just for reference, the job cost an inflated $700 (it was probably a $20 job max). Also, what was a bit shady is when I called on day one the phone call went straight to a man. On day two, there was a call service where you needed to press numbers and an operator eventually answered, who was a woman. If you need someone right away and pay whatever, then five stars. The first time My AC/Heat fan wouldn't turn on. I contacted my insurance company and they sent out Sameday Air. Gabriel and his associate came out and diagnosed the problem to be the circuit board was the problem. He showed me that one of the components was burnt. He said that he would order the part. They called to let me know that the part was in and made me an appointment to install it. Gabriel and his associate came out and installed the circuit board. They were both professional and courteous and did a good job and I appreciate that. I requested a quote through yelp. These guys had a nice automated system to schedule combined with I imagine a dispatcher of sorts. They gave me a 4 hour window, which seems very broad with no refinement even though I started asking 1 hour prior. Told me they would show up, then halfway into the window I asked again and they said at the end of the period. Then they never showed up and responded they got caught up. I had to change my plans for 4 hours only to be stiffed on an appointment. Everyone's time is valuable including yours (reading this review). By not meeting their commitments and pushing me out with no updates is selfish and prioritizes their time and money over mine. This practice I imagine is like airlines overbooking flight so they are 100% at capacity and getting top dollar yield for their time every day even if they do piss off a percentage of their customers however these guys haven't offered compensation like the airlines do. I would not recommend. They may do fine work maybe if you have infinite time and patience but I think most of us do not. I hope you find this useful and it becomes a source of constructive feedback to this business. I'm glad my home warranty connected me with Same Day AC & Heating (also MS Services). My gas furnace was not working. Hashem came over and quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and tested it afterwards. He also informed me of the issue and I appreciated that he added an precautionary step to help prevent the issue happening again as much as possible. He also answered all of my questions and I'm the type to ask a lot. Thank you! I would say the only downside is that I had to wait a few weeks for them to come over which sucked because I was freezing without my heater working! I called on Tuesday, and tech came out the very next day. Every other vendor wouldn't take me until the following week. Hard to be without heat with small children in January. Brr. Saher and Amin called with their ETA, arrived early on in their 2 hour window, came prepared with everything to do the job + wore new shoe covers first thing before entering our home. Done within the hour- even made some adjustments on my heater while they were here because they noticed the frame my heater sits on was loose. Super courteous and respectful to my space and made recommendations for other improvements to my heating system, which I'm getting a quote for. This was our first time using Same Day A/C & Heating. Our tenant contacted us this morning to say the furnace was not working. The company who installed it several years ago had no availability until Thurs. I called several companies before reaching Same Day A/C & Heating. I was able to get an appointment for this afternoon between 2-4 p.m.. I immediately received a confirmation email confirming the appointment and a second email when Feras Mehar, the technician, was on the way. He arrived close to 2 p.m. and immediately called to let us know the problem. He was able to do the repair and called us to confirm what was done. What wonderful service! The office emailed an invoice with the repair done and warranty info. We could not have received any better service than this! read more

The air conditioning on my home, only zone 2 works and zone 1 doesn't work, so I called my home warranty company and they sent this "Same Day HVAC" to do a diagnosis, and they spent over an hour checking thermostat and the parts up in the attic found out the zone board is burnt and need to replace and after 10 days they have no response at all, and I called my home warranty company to follow up and complaint, the warranty company said I need to replace zone board and the power transformer is missing and the warranty will only conver the zone board's labor and parts, the power transformer is not converted because it is missing, later this Same Day hvac company said I need to pay $285 out of my pocket to replace the power transformer and their customer service told me the transformer is not missing it is nonexistent, but in their estimate it says to replace the transformer. Later I requested second opinion, and than another company came to do the diagnosis and found out there is no need to change zone board and power transformer is not missing, all we need is a new thermostat and some rewireing on the thermostats connection. 1. this company's over one hour of diagnosis at my home is pointless and create not necessary repairs 2. After I follow up with my warranty company and file a complaint, and they said the parts is not missing and it's non existent, and that the warrenty uses the wrong wording 3. On the estimate for the out of pocket $285 is to replace the transformer, if it is not missing than how would they replace it, if it is not existing to begin with than why would they need to replace the part 4. I own this house for over 10 years, this time is the first time the AC system need repair and their technician is the first time since my ownership some one has climb up to the attic, if the transformer Is missing than than who took it. 5. And finally the second opinion technician came in for less than 10minutes, and made my air conditioning work again, they only worked on the thermostat I feel this Same Day Air Conditioning is scamming consumers and insurance company read more

I had a great experience with Same Day Air Conditioning. I came back from vacation to a freezing cold home. The furnace had some issue, and was not blowing any warm air. I called, and Sanad was able make it out to Pacifica and fix it in one visit. I appreciate how polite and patient Sanad was. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. Great Experience with Same Day Air Conditioning and Heating (SDACH). Our unit in our attic was leaking so our home insurance company referred us to SDACH and we could not have been more pleased. Gabriel was our technician. "This company is just not honest!!!! The yelp reviews are getting removed. Not sure if the company did something blocking some account. I am rewriting my review. Warranty company assigned my furnace repair to Sanad on May 15. He came and changed the thermocouple. The heater started to produce heat. The invoice wrote "Replaced new thermocouple test okay very old system". He told me he can clean my furnace within 20 minutes for about $250. I saw he used some spray and I did not think it is worth the money so I refused. 10 days later, the heater stopped producing heat. Warranty company did a recall. Sanad came and said he cannot fix it. He will tell warranty company this furnace need to replace. I asked him if that will be covered. He said that is something between the warranty company and me. He took some photos of the furnace and turned it off for good (so the pilot was turned off also). Warranty company left me a message saying Sanad told them it is a preexisting condition. I was totally shocked! I called warranty company later and the reps said it is not correct to say something is a pre-existing condition after it is fixed once. They said they will call Sanad. Yesterday finally they got reply saying the same thing: pre-existing condition. Also they got the furnace photos to support his claim." read more

New homeowner here who's trying to get past that first year learning curve. Never had to deal with furnace or thermostat issues in my life (thanks, parents!), but had to give Same Day AC & Heating a call when my furnace wouldn't shut off -- it just kept blowing cold air through all the vents even though thermostat was in the "off" setting. So I did what any respectable homeowner would do and took out the thermostat batteries and had my neighbor manually turn off my furnace unit which is located in my dark crawlspace. But then the house got cold and I didn't want to have multiple space heaters on throughout the house. Anyhow, called on a Monday, and they had Service Call openings that same Tues/Wed AM. Arrival window given was 8am-12pm and I appreciated that my tech, Mohammad, called me the morning of my appointment to let me know his ETA. Mohammad still abided by Covid-19 precautionary measures (i.e. masked up, booted up) when he came in to evaluate & confirm that indeed it was my ancient thermostat that was faulty. Luckily, I had a fancy new smart Nest thermostat on me but also was aware that I didn't have the requisite "c" wire to install it. Mohammad explained that running a new 'c' wire is costly ($1K) and suggested another more reasonable & affordable workaround which involved swapping settings on an existing wire. Final quote was $208 for labor+onsite eval fee, and thermostat issue was resolved quickly. Overall, I had a good experience with this company. Plus, Mohammad was polite, efficient and knowledgeable, and didn't try to upsell me on other services. He did recommend having my ducts cleaned (I didn't know that was a thing either) every 2 years to ensure better performance and less dust, and was able to tell me that my furnace is still in fine order (what a relief). Now I just have to submit my receipt to PG&E and get my Nest rebate for being more energy efficient! Win win! read more

This is a 10X company! Hashem and Sam saved my wallet from being ripped off by the crooked company called Heating and Air who quoted me $1500 at minimum for a $125 repair. Can't think more highly of them. When I called Sam and explained what repair I had been quoted, he immediately pointed out that the diagnosis sounded much worse than the symptoms of my unit, and it shouldn't be a costly repair. We decided to go with Same Day even with alternative competitive quotes because they were thorough and quick with their responses. Very easily accessible via text or call, scheduling was painless. Samer and Amin came in for the furnace replacement. They were also very good about keeping us informed when they were delayed and, once they arrived, they were super quick to get everything done. The replacement looks clean, well put together, and runs great so far. They also cleaned up after themselves so well that you couldn't tell they'd been there. Both were very respectful of our dogs and household, being careful to not startle them when coming in and out. I had a great experience with Same Day who helped diagnose and repair my furnace. I reached out to a few different companies, but Same Day was the first to respond, almost immediately. They were also able to see me on, get this,.....THE SAME DAY! (Whoa!) Omr and Baker, who both paid me a visit, were very professional and actually diagnosed the issue (shorted circuit board) and replaced it fairly quickly. The replacement part felt pricey, but I understand that's the going rate for my furnace (York). They said, I'm so happy to get this done so promptly. The technicians called this noise/sound "normal". I've asked 10 normal people; all of them said no - this is not normal. I have a Ph.D. and I know enough to tell the difference. Enough of this non-sense. July 28 - 3rd service call made - a second recall due to unusual high pitched noise. August 3 - 3rd visit and left comments: "A/C unit works good but H.O. complains about a sound coming from a compressor cause it's an old unit."
