Fast and friendly service! Super easy to check in at the front and they got right to work on my nails. They have good attention to detail and great prices!
Ive been coming here for years and each time I have requested a service it has never failed one bit. Sam is the owner/manager of the nail salon and super thankful he's able to fit me in when I request to come in to get my nails done. Ive never had a problem with any of the workers each time they do my nails. Theyre also super accomodating when it comes to touch ups. Even if you request to come in the last 30mins they'll still take you. The vibe is okay. They have music playing in the back. And they'll talk to you too that way you dont feel bored or awkward. One of my favorite girls used to work here then she left I think. But definately my go to place when getting nails done even if it is last minute or just on the whim decision.
I love this nail studio. I have been here multiple times and each time I have been happy with the work. The staff is friendly, they pay close attention to detail on the nail art and the place is clean.
Sam's nail studio has become my go to nail salon! I got my nails done by Jasmine (I could be wrong I called to ask what her name was) but the service was amazing. She was very friendly and attentive to detail and if I had any concerns, she addressed it quickly. Overall extremely happy with my experience here.
This has been my nail place for the past 6 months. Unfortunately I am going to start looking elsewhere. I asked for a pedicure today with scrub. And I left there with dry feeling skin. And I'm not normally this dry. That is very telling about their products they use. the guy went through 3 separate white nail polishes (different brands) to only end up with certain areas of my toe nails missing polish. The reason he was going through diff polished was because they were all used and empty. Also, I use regular polish not gel. So when he was removing my old polish I noticed he didn't take all of the polish off on some of my toe nails. And I don't like giving problems I kept quiet and waited for the outcome. It didn't turn out awful but it wasn't the greatest. I'll be taking my business elsewhere for better quality. I really loved this place too. It is cheap. Cheaper than most places. Which is why I'm not really mad or hating since you get what you pay for. But I think I rather spend a little more for better quality.
I've been here twice, the 1st time I only got a gel pedicure. I thought the gel was of decent quality so I returned a second time & I got a gel manicure and a gel pedicure. It hadn't been a week yet & my nails were chipping. Now on the 7th day of having my nails, they're chipped badly, as if I had them for 3 weeks . My pedicure is holding fine tho. Idk maybe the lady was rushing on my nails bc of the group of people that had just walked in. Idk but I won't be back bc of it.
How unfortunate I have to write this review... I really didn't want to go this far but the way I was treated today was absolutely unacceptable. I only been here twice, each time I was very pleased with my nails but.... This morning I called and specifically asked for Amy or Sam cus they the only ones that do my nails the way I like. They said sure what time u wanna come in and I said I will be there by 1 pm if that's ok and they replied okay sure ! Mind u I live in Upland. So it's a drive for me back and forth. I get there at 1 pm maybe few mins earlier . No one acknowledges me and there were about 5 employees at the shop and no customers. Just pacing back and forth. So I'm just standing there waiting for someone to come like usual to get me seated. Eventually a lady comes up and asks me if I have an appointment and I mentioned that I spoke on the phone with someone and requested Amy or Sam . She proceeded to sit me with a different nail tech. I repeated kindly again I made an appointment with Amy or Sam. She informed that both of them were not there today. To be honest i was disappointed. I find this very unprofessional and a tad disrespectful. Even tho the quality of the nails Amy and Sam do is good, this inconvenience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. It definitely felt personal.
Been continuously going there a few times, been a year or so. Every time it just gets more and more expensive, seems like once I'm showing then I'm a loyal customer they just start jacking up the price. Owner's attitude is kinda bad, can't really stand it, he's got big temper. I stopped going there for a while now. Today just made appointment for my mom with Amy, they responded on text that is ok for the time I asked for, only for my mother to drive there in person to find out Amy is on a long vacation. Why couldn't they just tell me on text that the person we asked for is not available, would save the time and gas. The screenshot is text from owner after he saw it. He still doesn't understand what I put on the review and he thinks it's cuz the Amy appointment incident. But I'm just not used to his attitude everytime I go. Imagine this everytime when I go to the store? I'm not really used to pay people to yell at me. That's why I slowly don't go there anymore.
Iv been here more than once (gave em a chance) but THEY DRILLED my nails so thin it hurt to wash my hands !! I asked them are my nails still okay to get or should I wait, but for long nails with a design, of course she did not care if its for the money right. & not only did I have to remind them services they forgot like a hot towel, and the massage included with my gel design pedicure. But when it comes to nail design; if they get tired they half ass it & only 1 hand will look good. I had to tell them to redo something more than once.
My first time will be returning. I was attended fast and I was a walk-in. Service was great, I got a pedicure. Loved the color. The vibe was dope, 90s music videos was perfect.
I called in on a Saturday to ask if they could squeeze me I'm for an appointment at 2. The owner said they do have room. I still waiting a little over an hour. Chloe did my nails and I LOVED her. I got gel x nails for the first time. My. Atrial nails were really long. I usually get a gel manicure but my nails have become super thin. I am soo happy with how they came out. She copied the design I wanted perfectly. It was a little pricey. I paid $75 not including tip but I don't have any complaints with the work Chloe did. I was also in a time crunch and told Chloe I needed to b out by 4:30. She said I got u girl and had me out in time
Going in again today. It's been a whole month and not a single nail has fallen off! Not even close. This is a testament to Sam's superb quality of work. I've never had a nail NOT come off by the third week, if it even makes it that long. I'm quite careless and clumsy, and often have bruises on my hands from accidentally banging it on my surroundings, and this set remained resilient. As long as Sam does my nails, I don't think any other nail place will do for me. Lol.

Some of the best work I've ever had on my nails! I go to relax so I try not to talk too much by relaxing to music and watching my movies. By the time I know it, my nails are done! My girl was amazing. She took time to figure out the color scheme and style i wanted based on the photo alone. Photos are based on over a week later. So cute. read more

Amy does the best nails. Super sweet too. Everyone else is rude and has 0 customer service. So if u like getting told rude comments abt ur feet go here! Texted the owner Sam and all he had to say was "okay" when I let him know I was spoken to rudely by the lady who did my toes and I almost don't want to go there anymore, so clearly he doesn't care abt the customers who keep his shop open & pay their bills. lol won't be returning. read more

Found Sam through Yelp and he was able to take me last minute before my trip! The application was especially meticulous with my smaller nail beds. The nails were beautifully applied and perfectly even. Can't reccomended enough. Perfect length, perfect shape that I'm always extremely picky about. He knew just what I wanted! read more

I went here this past Friday because the first time I went here the service was amazing and my gel x nails and gel toes came out so good. This past time that I went my nails had came out the worst I have ever gotten them. They were French tip but they were not clean at all. The ladies that did my nails were rushing because they had other clients waiting. I went to another nail salon to get them fixed because it was clear that they couldn't do the French tip right the first time. read more

Came back here again to get some nails done for upcoming weddings and they didn't disappoint! It's always so nice that they listen to your wants especially since I think I'm a bit picky about the length. The tech who did the design was also very meticulous and really took the effort to make everything look nice! Also shout out to the lady who fixed my big toe and made it look civilized and straight since it was actually hurting me a bit before I went in. Overall I feel the quality of service really justifies the pricing! read more

I came in here during my vacation back home, and it's always difficult for me to find a spot to get my nails done when I don't live in the area. Sam did a perfect job with my full set. I've been coming here regularly for a year, and these are the worst nails I've got in my entire life. They let me walk out like this and I asked them to fix. Gave me a hard time about it and made me wait 1.5/2 hours. Amy is the only tech worth paying for read more

Called and was told to come in. I didn't wait long which was good. It started off really nice with a welcoming greeting. I asked for a pedi and mani w/gel. The young gentleman was so gentle that it did feel like he did anything as to what I've been used to: deep callous scrub which I asked and paid for but received minimal to very little scrubbing. Removing cuticles and cleaning my nails which normally they used a tool to clean with but never done. After that was done I noticed my heels were very rough and was worse than it was. The same young man was going to do my hands and I had changed it from gel to dip. I guess he forgot that he was supposed to do a manicure cuz all he did was remove the previous gel and just buffed my nails and told me someone else was going to do my nails since he wasn't experienced in dips. As the other gentleman did my hands he seemed like he knew what he was doing so I just kinda watched and. He finished and told me to wash my hands and that was it. Usually they put some kind of oil ob my nails and lotion and massage my hands, but oh well I've never been here and maybe they do things differently even tho ALL the other places I've been to has done that. I tipped 20% for both guys cuz they did the work even tho I wasn't happy. My toes look nice because of the color but my heels are more rough than before. My hand look nice but if you look closely you could see the polish on my second finger has dust under the clear coat. He didn't even file the edges and they're ALL very sharp. Not sure what the problem was but I was nice and friendly to the 2 gentleman and even complimented on their effectiveness on getting me in right away. Only reason why I tried them was because I moved and didn't feel like going to my old place. read more

THE WORST PLACE!! Had me waiting two hours !!! They had me soaking my feet for an hour! I wanted a full set and a pedi but I waited there for nothing! They say they take appointments but still make you wait! They don't give you a time of waiting just kept telling ten min every ten min! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I wish I could give this place 0 stars cause that's what exactly they deserve ! On top of that I asked for a towel and couldn't even do that ! I had to walk out with wet feet and sandals read more
