They look to cut corners, place liability of their inability for repairs on sublet and their customers, are discourteous, and continually provide false updates on the repair status (very inconvenient when you are planning your day around when they will have the car ready, while also caring for two small children around their 'updates'). I would only recommend this shop for people who enjoy getting the run around, being belittled and repeatedly mislead, and needing a repair lifetime warranty for a place you wouldn't step back into again. 1/5 , would put 0, but it's not possible.

Bill at Fine Line was initially surprised by my choice, but he was incredibly thorough in explaining the repairs and costs up front. Once he understood how much the van meant to me, he was fully on board and handled the project with care and respect. He kept me updated throughout the process and made sure to get my approval on a few adjustments along the way. Shushana was always so friendly and welcoming every time I stopped in (and I'll admit, I stopped by several times!). She ensured I had all the paperwork I needed for my final state inspection, which the van passed with flying colors! A big thank you as well to the kind gentleman who helped me when I came in to clear out the camping gear that had been destroyed -- your help meant more than you know. Yes, it took some time -- older parts aren't easy to come by, and a few features needed tweaking -- but the end result was absolutely worth it. That repair held up great. More recently, another fender bender and I was going through insurance and they recommended a different shop, but I didn't really agree or understand the other shop's guy, and I took it to Jim for a second opinion. Jim's estimate came in slightly lower but more importantly I felt like he was able to explain to me the different options clearly about either quitting the claim so it didn't get totaled or doing the salvage title or just getting the money and giving up the car. The car ended up getting totaled by insurance and we had Jim fix it to do a salvage retitle. Should have gone to Jim in the first place!
