The communication throughout the entire process was outstanding -- they kept me informed every step of the way and made a potentially stressful situation completely hassle-free. That repair held up great. More recently, another fender bender and I was going through insurance and they recommended a different shop, but I didn't really agree or understand the other shop's guy, and I took it to Jim for a second opinion. Jim's estimate came in slightly lower but more importantly I felt like he was able to explain to me the different options clearly about either quitting the claim so it didn't get totaled or doing the salvage title or just getting the money and giving up the car. The car ended up getting totaled by insurance and we had Jim fix it to do a salvage retitle. Should have gone to Jim in the first place!

My truck would not go in reverse so I thought it was a transmission issue but it was a transfer case issue. A-Team diagnosed the issue with in an hour and had parts on order to get my truck back in service as soon as possible. While my truck was awaiting parts A-Team took the opportunity to replace U-Joints in my drive shaft, it was already out. Also my truck has a supercharger and makes north of 500HP. I need extra cooling capacity for my transmission. While my truck hung on the rack they set up a custom cooler and ran all the necessary lines so that it did not interfere with any supercharger air ducting. They bailed me out again when my truck had fuel contamination (water) go through both pumps, in sub zero weather. The water took out both fuel pumps and the replacement pumps differed from the pumps on board. A little fabricating and I had a new fuel delivery system. They are are not afraid to tackle a special project vehicle that they did not build and they required very little help from me. They figured out the fuel system correctly themselves. I place trust in them to keep my older truck safe and able to spank any new truck that challenges it and always be first in. Watch out for , you never know where one will show up....even in fast old trucks
