I should not even give this business one star. They did a terrible job when it was supposed to be an easy work for them. This was a botched dent/touchup work. And It's absolutely far from being magic. The attached photos speak for that. The dent wasn't even fixed! As you see from the attached photo, it was simply filled with paint. This whole work was a shady work with an ugly outcome. When I complained to Michael, all he did was for him to pull a copy of the receipt I signed at time of coming to pickup my car. The bumper of our car had a small "ding" that probably came as a result of someone backing up into it. The body shop we took it to tried to do a small cosmetic fix, but it was no better. In the photo it's hard to appreciate but I knocked a weed eater onto the side of our Rav 4. I almost threw up when it happened. We have taken care of this car like a child and am so proud of it's beauty. My daughters boyfriend suggested Dent Magic for repair. I also had a scratch across the hood thanks to Moo Moo car wash that I asked them to fix as well. I went to the dealer to get the specific paint to match my VIN number. Tina gave us an estimate and told us the dent may only be 80% better since it was on the curve and right at the seam from the hood. I went into the repair expecting the 80%. They superseded the 80% by about 15%. Really the only person who could see the "scar" is me. It looks amazing and less expensive as I first thought. They touched up one nick with the dealer paint and it did not match as perfect as you would want so they buffed the scratch to make it barely noticeable. I came in here to get an estimate on some repair and I was completely blown away by the stuff I only intended to be there for 5 or 10 minutes but they made me feel valued it made me want to do business with this company I dealt with two people Jordan Miller and amazing representative and I found out that he was just filling in with the guy who filled in gave me an extraordinary service also Beth was very approachable had confidence in a Yelp review and she was very warm and inviting. They quoted me on a price for repairs that did not seem to astronomical the lobby area was kept very clean very comfortable and they also had the TV was in great shape and for a lobby area for this kind of place it make you feel like they don't mind you waiting some places make you feel like they want you to just get in and get out. If they keep Staff like this at this location I will continue to recommend and be a patron of this business since I drive people for a living. And I always need some kind of work done. One thing I will say though there needs to be a business that's open on Saturday to meet the demands of customers since most people work Monday through Friday if there was a business that can do this kind of work to be open on Saturday it will probably double and soar and make the profits or of that business not being open on Saturdays makes it very inconvenient for people. On a dark and stormy night earlier this week, I backed up into a mailbox. The encounter left an ugly white streak from my rear door to the gas lid. I was envisioning having my car tied up in a body shop for days over the approaching Christmas weekend, not to mention the cost (not worth filing insurance). I was still fretting about this while driving down Sawmill Rd, when I came upon a the Dent Magic store. I pulled in to see if they could give me an estimate. Manager Jim Cox greeted me warmly, and I showed him the damage. He went inside for a moment, and returned with a bottle of liquid. He put some on a cloth, rubbed it over the streak, and it freaking disappeared! It left a very slight discoloration, which Jim said could be buffed out easily (and right away) for a very reasonable cost. I was amazed that my problem was solved, and in just over a half hour - A Christmas Miracle! I was very pleasantly surprised at the ease and swiftness employed to take care of me. No stars I recently took my car there. Bumper was not sanded down paint is still spider webbed under where they painted. I posted a picture of the repair. I was told my bumper would be sanded and repainted prior to me taking it in there. Also looks as if something was dropped on my hood and a small amount of touch up paint was applied. Estimate was quick and easy, allowed me to select a convenient appointment time, but could have had it fixed on the spot. Price was very reasonable- no high pressure to add additional services. I had my car worked on January 5, 2012 and couldn't have had a better experience. I delt with the owner . I had 3 dents on my car that needed to be removed. The owner explained the repairs and told me how they would remove them. He was nothing but professional with me, surprised that others have had issues with him. I am a 40 year old stay at home mom and he treated me with nothing but respect. The repair on my car took 45 minutes and when they were done the car looked perfect. Someone hit my car in a parking lot and put a dent in the front left area. I stopped by Dent Magic and Darrin gave me an estimate in about 10 minutes. I scheduled an appointment for a few days later. The job was done within 35 minutes, so I appreciate the timeliness and the price was more than reasonable. The dent is gone, but there are bubbles in the paint. It's not horribly noticeable, and Darrin explained why it's not smooth, but I just assumed it would look as new once fixed. So was it the best experience? No, but not terrible either.
