From start to finish - chef's kiss! Was looking for a spot to celebrate the mister's birthday and…read morethis hit a lot of the marks so made a reservation on Open Table and marked that we were celebrating a birthday. Large parking lot but it was PACKED on a Saturday night, so def make reservations for dinner! You can dine inside or outside, we opted for inside. Place is quite charming - reminds me of a spot you'd find in Boston. Rustic and charming with the wooden beams but still upscale and modern with decor. While we waited for our calamari and marsala gnocchi, we got some focaccia with butter - fluffy and not overly dense, perfect bites to start our night. Calamari def tasted fresh and was fried nicely but can we talk about the Marsala gnocchi (happened to be an app special). Not necessarily the best gnocchi I've had but prob the best gnocchi dish I've had - the Marsala sauce along with the caramelized onions and mushrooms were scrumptious. If it weren't for our entrees coming, I would've eaten the entire thing, so we asked for it to be packed up. My chicken parm was very good but I was still dreaming of the gnocchi while eating my entree, lol. We ended with the death by chocolate cake (complimentary for the birthday boy) and I had the limoncello sorbet. Both ended our meal perfectly. I have to give big kudos to our waitress, Chantel - super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The only thing I'd knock on is that some of the seating is a bit tight. It'd be nice to have a little more space in between the tables but I understand wanting to maximize the space. This is a great place for special occasions - who am I kidding, it's a good spot to just go eat!

Make a reservation if you're able to! The interior is very nice and beautiful. Ordered the chicken…read moremarsala & the chicken franceise. Both dishes were flavorful, well seasoned, and a good portion. They offer free focaccia bread which was delicious and a nice touch to our visit.

A real mixed bag of stuff here at Riccardi's two Sundays ago for lunch…read more We rumbled in about an hour after they opened and overall, the restaurant was wide open in terms of seating. No issues with being seated or with having our drink order taken or house bread being offered right away. Just to skip more or less to the crux of the issue, it was about the details. Baked Penne with Meatballs Cheese Filled Ravioli Baked Lasagna The lasagna was as advertised and there was no real issue there. Good sized portion and the person who ordered that was very satisfied. The ravioli was presented in what I'll call a sauce rationed format. Small-ish swirl of sauce on the middle of the dish while everything not in the middle (give or take 65% of the portion) was raw dog dry. But mercifully, extra sauce was available, just in an odd format. Enter the penne. The penne itself were overcooked and the cheese on top was well beyond baked. More like a hardened helmet. The meatballs were served on a separate plate, and they came to the table, at best lukewarm but were swimming in a Buzzard's Bay of sauce that was dripping over the side of the plate on to the table. At the end of the day, the service was good and the food was sent out fairly fast. But with that said, one thing was more or less cold while its accompaniment was overcooked and another item was basically dry. If there is a next time, maybe we just skip entrees and go with the takeout pizza. That side of the restaurant had a steady flow of people coming in and out and seemed to be where the action was at. Note to file for the future.
