Decent chain steak house I have not been to in a long time. Before COVID it was great, after... well, you know the current theme. Regardless they still do some awesome plates. The burgers are A1+++, though you have to beg them for a side of ketchup and mayonnaise free, as they would rather up sell their $4 special sauce add on. The equity holding group's high margin product. Sad but it is what it is. Their gravy is so so and declined from the past. But, it is just a few steps from my hotel, so savings on Uber Eats or gas are worth it. Bar looked nice. Plan to sit there tomorrow and toast my Mom's wonderful life. read more

The food and drink selection at Saltgrass is excellent. Service is always a good experience and the restaurant has a very formal feel and setting. You could go here for an anniversary, a birthday or just for lunch. This tine around we had a reservation for a party of 20. They obliged our party request and sat us when half the party was present. These are great practices. They gave us one of their best servers and everything went so well. The server had support and we had a great experience. I'm going to give Saltgrass Steak House a mild complaint, because honestly, the experience was more frustrating than it needed to be. I tried twice to get help on the phone and eventually got pushed over to a manager. I waited 10 minutes with no answer before hanging up. I called back and asked for the manager's name and was given THREE different names--yet somehow nobody could answer the phone within 10 minutes. The gentleman blamed it on the host and I told him no it was another guy that she sent me to the first time who couldn't help me either ‍All I was trying to do was claim my $25 birthday reward. Then the website wouldn't even send me the link to reset my password. So much for a birthday perk. And now the one thing I absolutely loved--the carrot cake--has gone from $8 to $12. At this point, that carrot cake better come with a personal apology from the manager. Unfortunately, between the customer service, the birthday reward hassle, the overly salty food and the price increase, I can't recommend Saltgrass right now. I had a particularly disappointing experience while ordering takeout on Christmas. The service was disorganized and inconsistent throughout my visit. Initially, I called to place a to-go order, but after being put on hold for nearly seven minutes without a response, I hung up and called again. After some time, I approached a server at the kiosk and mentioned my order. He told me to wait while he informed someone to check on me, but no one ever came. Eventually, I had to stop another passing server to inquire about payment for my order. He went to check in the back, and after a long wait, my food was finally brought out--but it was incomplete. Not only was my soup missing, but my queso brisket was also absent of brisket despite being charged for it. When I inquired, I was told they were out of brisket, and they offered a complimentary soda. However, I wouldn't have ordered the queso had I known the brisket was unavailable, which felt like a misrepresentation of the menu. Additionally, I requested bread but was informed that it was not ready, and I did not receive an itemized receipt. There were no pens or clipboards available for signing, making the entire experience feel chaotic. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied, with no intention of returning. I've always bragged on the good food at Salt Grass, but the last two times the food was awful...last time I ordered the salmon with crab and the very small portion of salmon was dried out cooked to death and so salty I could not eat it...so today I tried the salmon again...just the plain with out the crab...once again very small portion, cooked to death and sooo salty...the servers were great...the caesar sald is always good - they brought out a barely warm baked potato instead of the sweet potato...finally got the sweet potato...it was okay, but the salmon was so bad which I tried to chew and swallow while waiting for the potato...I let it go as I was with a group of 18...my friend across from me had the chicken fried steak which she barely touched because it was so bad and another friend a few chairs down had the same experience. The woman next to me had some sort of chicken tenders which she couldn't eat...I would assume you have a new chef except the salmon from a few weeks ago was just as bad...Think you need to slip in and try the food and see if you can find out what is going on and while you are at it hide the chefs salt shaker! read more

Well today is May 30, 2026 a Friday and I chose as my restaurant for my special meal none other than the great Saltgrass Steak House. I walked in sat at the Bar choosing to watch college baseball as I ate. My bartender was non other than Leland and he was constantly on the move making sure his customers were taken care of. He welcomed me and then gave me the menu. I chose grilled salmon with sweet potato fries and steamed broccoli. I was sipping a glass of water until the Entree arrived. When the plate with the salmon, sweet potato fries and broccoli arrived all looked beautifully cooked. I tasted the salmon and it was so good and throughout the meal each bite was a joy. The sweet potato fries were shoe string sweet potato fries and went wonderfully with the provided catsup. They as well were wonderfully cooked and tasted so good, The broccoli was blanched and were a bright green and I enjoyed every bite. At the last bite of the salmon (that was all that was left) that meal was so good and I was sad that it was done but I reflected, having been here twice and the meal was so good. I thought what the heck what do they have for dessert and it is "Two Fork", cheesecake and Strawberry Sauce. Next was the Homemade Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Syrup. They all looked so good but the moment I saw Carrot Cake that was it but I gotta tell ya the Chocolate Cake was a very close second. The Carrot Cake just arrived (picture taken), and it is so magnificent. The Carrot Cake looked so beautiful and tasted so wonderfully good. The icing so refreshingly good, the cake just melts in your mouth. Each bite is going to be heaven on a fork and it was so so good. Jay the second bartender said that the restaurant just added Key Lime Pie and I am sure that would be delicious. Well the meal is done and I have to tell everyone been here twice and Saltgrass Steak House hit it out of the park twice. I placed an order for delivery on Friday January 23rd around 5:30pman received an email that that got my order and was working on it. About 6:30pm delivery driver text and asked about my order as it was not there. I called and spoke to the manager and he told me that they do not have delivery services on Friday evening and I ask why this wasn't on the web page and if my account was going to be charged. He told me that my account would not be charged and it was and when I called back 3 days later to let him know my account was charged he told me had to look into this matter but he didn't have the time to deal with this matter at the time. The absolute best thing about today's meal was our server, Brice. He tried everything he could think of to please us. Now for the rest of the review. The kitchen must have been having "issues". It took twice as long as it should have to bring one simple appetizer. Then, it was over 30 minutes before we received our main order. When it came, the food was cold. The steaks were over cooked. My husband's chicken fried had an acrid, bitter tasting crust. He ate just a few bites of it. (Yes he did complain. ). My chicken tenders had the same taste to a lesser degree. While I would not normally not give 1 star to a restaurant, it was the complete lack of care from multiple managers over an issue that led to this. I placed an online order for a 10 oz sirloin with a potato and salad for the side with a chips/queso for an appetizer. The time projected was 30 minutes, and I arrived and went inside after 15 minutes. After I gave the bar staff my name for a pickup, they directed me to a lady on the phone who walked off and did not come back. I stood for another 10 minutes until a wait staff asked if I had still not been helped and went to check on my order. He provided it would be about 9 more minutes. 20 minutes later, the women who had been on the phone finally came back and asked for my name. 5 minets later, a man who I assume was the kitchen manager based off dress attire, informed me my order had been stolen and it would be another 25-30 minutes to remake as they were busy. It looked like he notified the general manager as well, but that was about it. No attempt to even say we will rush it or any other expedited attempt. The general manager, all the while, walked by me standing in the same spot for just shy of an hour without an inquiry and then knowing my order of a single steak was near 1.5 hours. To top it off, they forgot the salad, so I had to turn around after leaving. As someone who managed a restaurant in the past, I completely understand that mistakes occur. I am not someone who expects or demands compensation when issues occur but to not even be offered something minor nor have several members of management act like it was not even an issue is the problem. He was so quick to say hello. He asked if I wanted appetizers. I was really Interested In trying the Prime Rib I had heard about. I was extremely impressed when he offered to check the quality . What restaurant or server does that? Well, instant Kudos. The food was AMAZING! BUT THE BEST PART was when I got the bill. The dreaded bill. For me, being visually impaired, it's difficult to read the ticket. It's extremely embarrassing not being able to read the numbers. This server, literally took extra time to assist me, darken the lines on receipt and then helped read the total. This is the first time I have ever been able to keep my dignity. I started to cry.
