Jeremy did a great job helping select appetizers and entrees! I will definitely be back based on our awesome lunch experience!

Down in Corpus for the day and since it is Labor Day our favorite place was closed (Black Diamond). We came here to get some good seafood. Food was hit and miss. Started with a dozen peel and eat shrimp. Shrimp were WAY overcooked, extremely firm, and rubbery. Mozzarella sticks were fine. I had the clam chowder (which was actually REALLY good). I would recommend it if you like lots of clam pieces and a nice bacon flavor. I had the pan-seared redfish with veggies and red beans and rice. Fish was very good and cooked well. Seasoning was good. Veggies were also well done. Red beans and rice were...mid. Very salty and not my fave. Wife had fish and chips. Tartar was a little sweet for me and the batter had a slight sweet spice in it. Not my taste but she liked it. She also said the hush puppies were not dry. Alway a good thing. For the price, I was expecting more but it was a decent meal. Service was good. Quick, prompt service, and she took the kids meal off the bill since we bought the adult meal as advertised. Atmosphere is fine but it smells like vomit near the restrooms and on the back patio. Kind of icky. Decent meal, decent atmosphere. We will stick to Black Diamond though. read more

Coming here for dinner after finding out the long wait time at Joe's Crab Shack. Staff were very friendly and food came out pretty fast. Food was very fresh and tasty, not like some of the chain restaurants. We especially liked the CRAWFISH ÉTOUFFÉE and Mama's Penne Pasta. read more

Service was good and waitress was most attentive I had the bowl of dark roux shrimp gumbo which was delicious and also included a small loaf of buttered French bread. The best gumbo I have foun so far in Corpus Christi if you prefer Lousiana style gumbo. The atmosphere had cajun music in the background and also had a cajun decor throughout. Highly recommended by me and my guest who had a fidh/shrimp fried platter which got devoured effortlessly. No review was asked for but glad to recommend this newly refurbished resteraunt. read more

First time here since they opened and it was a tasty experience!!! The fried zucchini is highly recommended!! It was really good!! My wife had the clam chowder (not pictured) and it was good however the bacon kind of over powered the taste. She also ordered regular fried shrimp and in her words it was good but she liked my coconut shrimp better as she ate all of them!! The coconut shrimp was the star of the meal!! Not frozen coconut shrimp like other restaurants, they're monde fresh in the back and they were packed with flavor!! Not to sweet like some just the right mixture of sweetness and spices. I would give 5 stars but the beer bartered cod was way too salty!! And it's a shame as the crust was flaky and the fish was nice and tender. The fries were also a little bland and the hush puppies were really dried. Will go again as we notice their bar was nice and can be a place to have a few drinks and some appetizers.... read more

We had an early lunch on September 23rd for 4 of us. Alexa provided timely and very knowledgeable service, oh, and the food was excellent!

This restaurant is literally a boat--and the views are just as impressive as the setting. Surrounded by water, it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The service was friendly and smooth. I ordered the pasta, which was flavorful and satisfying. Great for a laid-back meal with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out! read more

I visited today to have lunch with my granddaughter. I was surprised to find that they serve live crawfish. Although I didn't anticipate fireworks, the crawfish were absolutely delicious! I usually visit Brewster Street for crawfish, and I must say, these were significantly better. Now, one significant difference is that they are SPICY here! Which I absolutely loved! My granddaughter had a fantastic time on the pirate ship playground, and the overall service was spectacular. Today was a great day. A must-visit! Ask for Steven; he was phenomenal. read more

Our waiter was great and a very funny guy. Food was good honestly didn't blow me out of the water but still good. I had fish and chips, fries and hush puppies were very good but the fish was lacking some flavor for me personally. Had a mocktail that was a mix of tea and cherry juice and it was tart and delicious. My partner had a plate that included coconut shrimp and that was very good too. Restaurant was clean and well maintained and decorated. read more

I ordered the 6 piece shrimp and my husband ordered the 6 piece oysters. I asked to sub the French fries for red beans. I was told red beans and rice were an upcharge of $3.99 because they were a "premium" side. They were listed right there with French fries; not a premium. My diet is low carb. Red beans and rice are complex carbs and protein. The menu did not say, "no substitutions". Food was tasty however shrimp and oysters were small. Service was good also. We are retired on a fixed income and adding $4 to the bill would be an unwarranted increase. read more

Waiter: Jeremy was amazing! Super attentive and made awesome recommendations for our first time here. Thank you for the amazing service. Ambiance: very calm and quiet we went around noon so not many people but I see it get packed almost every night. Food: was excellent. The spinach was not your basic spinach artichoke dip it was better how exactly I have no clue but it had flare that we will definitely be coming back for. The Caesar salad was good a lot of dressing but still good. The shrimp and fish was a light fish taste not overpowering and the shrimp was buttery and had a hint of lemon. read more

Overwhelmed waitress, no sign of a manager. 30+ minutes to get our checks, granted the group was large. Food and drinks were ok at best. Find something better - it should be easy to do so. read more

I was nervous to come because of the reviews but I'm glad I came. The service was pleasant and friendly and the food was delicious. Our server was Monaire, she was so sweet and full of personality. We ordered fried zucchini, blackened redfish and shrimp and a house salad. It was really delicious. We also had beer on draft, which was cold and crisp. The complementary bread was so good, it was like a baguette. We will definitely be back. read more

The food was awesome and our server, Josh, made us feel at home! Thank you Josh! We appreciate you.

We came to Landry's Kitchen for late lunch early dinner. The place itself has plenty of room inside for large groups and plenty of parking outside. It is located conveniently off the I-35. The hostess was very accommodating and the waiter-Benjamin- was friendly. The manager came over to ask how everything was and we informed him how attentive Benjamin was and how flavorful the Mahi Mahi was cooked. We especially enjoyed the crawfish dip with the most delicious bread. When in town we will go by again. Kudos to all! Enjoy! :) read more

I went here during the lunchtime hour. I had seen the reviews and was hopeful...our dinner experience last night left me disappointed and wanting. So, I went in with hope and a bit of trepidation. There were more people inside; so, a plus. The host was friendly and the decor the usual but cheery. I ordered the fried shrimp po' boy with a small shrimp gumbo. Score! The shrimp was crunchy, juicy, hot, and tasty! The gumbo was seasoned well and tasty! I left feeling gleeful and satisfied! They had conquered my seafood craving! read more

In town for a funeral...sister took us here....GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE....Waitress was very helpful....Highly recommended.

We had a great experience! We started with the stuffed jalapeños, which had a delicious seafood stuffing and were served with ranch--so good. We also tried the shrimp kisses, which were bacon-wrapped, pepper jack cheese and jalapeño stuffed, with a tasty barbecue chipotle glaze. For the main course, we shared the mixed grill--salmon, grilled shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, rice, and a veggie medley. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The customer service was also excellent--friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! read more

We had excellent service from Josh (waiter). He explained the menu and the drink specials. Josh keep up the great work.

This was an online order... one they didn''t add the extra shrimp I paid for. Second hush puppies were still raw. Picked up my order 2 minutes from due time and it was already cold. Sad, sad , sad. read more

Excellent food and service from Alexa. Very hospitable and friendly. Would absolutely come again!

The food is way overpriced and just averages. We ordered blackened redfish red crawfish etouffe, coconut shrimp, and shrimp kisses. We order these at the Landey's downtown and they are not similar at all. The redfish was over cooked and dry. Crawfish was not fresh. Definitely frozen and tasted really bad. This food here is not fresh. We wont be back read more

We decided to try this restaurant tonight since we had heard good things about it. Located in the old Joe's Crab Shack space on SPID, it wasn't busy at all when we walked in on a Wednesday night. The restaurant is not large, but decorated beautifully but casually like NOLA in New Orleans with dark woods and barrels for lights. We gave our drink orders and studied the menu. First thing we noticed was the prices....very reasonable for a seafood restaurant! They have lots of choices, including steaks and chicken. We ordered a fried seafood platter and shrimp pontchartrain. The fried platters all come with fries and coleslaw, the shrimp came with veggies and rice. Both entrees were excellent, very tasty and large portions for the money. The fish on the seafood platter had a thin crunchy coating and melted in your mouth. Shrimp were ok and the oysters were tiny. Coleslaw on the seafood platter was unremarkable. The French fries were hot and crisp and the veggies were sautéed well. The hush puppies were oddly sweet. Tartar sauce tasted homemade. Our server was friendly and efficient without hovering. We will go back! Total for two entrees and two beers was $53.18 read more

If I coulde give -5 stars I would. Horrible experience in this restaurant. Major management issues in this restaurant. We can't begin to tell you how bad the service is here. If you want to wait over hour for your food before your waiter comes over to tell you there was issue with a breaker and the machine that prints tickets went down and nobody noticed. There was us - table for 2 and another table of about 10 in the restaurant at the time, so I do not even understand how that could have even been the issue, their food came out and the waiter only had the 2 tables to take care of, actually the entire staff only had 2 table to take care of and the fact that our waiter did not notice is a bunch of bull crap. Then after we complained to waiter the manager came over and told us he would have our order out right away, another 20 minutes go by and then some freak comes to our table who looked stoned out of his mind and was harassing us, first he said to my husband you want to go outside, then was mumbling something about cigarettes, then waitress came over and they pretended to look for a cell phone, I do not know if it was one of their staff members or not but very intimidating person harassed us and nobody did anything., and still no food served to us by the way...after that I walked out of the restaurant and my husband went into their kitchen and told them off. He is professional chef with culinary degree and he could not believe how the manager maintains his position at this joke of a restaurant.. When we got outside, the freak followed us to our car, I thought he was going to do something to my husband. Stay clear of this place. I would drug test this entire establishment. Shout out to BJ Restaurant next door - the ENTIRE staff on point. We told our waiter about terrible experience at Landry's and that we were really hungry after waiting so long and no food. He immediately asked if he could bring us a complimentary bowl of soup not little cup a bowl. We got the chili and ordered their wings, fish n chips and for appetizer we tried their new shrimp toast dish which I highly recommend. Cheers to BJ Restaurant for taking such good care of us. read more

Food was great. Ben did a fantastic job as our server. Good place to catch the games as well.

When this first opening the food was great. However, the last 3 times we have eaten there the food was just so-so. Mainly the food was tepid at best. Two times were after the lunch hour. The fried was cold and limpish. I thought it had been sitting from the lunch rush. The last time we ate there was during the lunch hour. The food was not much better. On the other hand, the service was very good. read more
