We all need to relax and unwind and this is an ideal place to do it. On entry, it feels like few other spas I experienced. The door has dark tint to block the harsh glare of a hot, Florida summer day and the tone is very subdued. The natural colors and decor make this feel like you have been transported to another place far from the reality of daily living. As I entered, it is very quiet and I believe I may have been the only customer. I was greeted by Derek (husband of the owner) and he immediately made me feel relaxed and ready for a new experience. He started with a tour of the facility with a stop to peruse the tray of salts from around the world... India, Hawaii, Poland (his home country). Lastly, we entered the "Adult" salt cave. The room was almost exactly as it appears online (I imagine the photographer used lighting to highlight the appearance). The room has dimmed mood lighting with tranquil background music and waves lapping a beach. The floor is covered in a finer salt so booties are provided and shoes can be left outside the door. The chairs are reclining loungers with each having a super soft blanket waiting. The sessions start at the top of each hour and last 50 minutes but as I am picking my chair, Derek tells me I can stay longer if I would like. He also mentions many people will fall asleep while here. Being that I don't sleep well, I was looking for the possible benefits of the salt and some quiet meditation. Whatever the combination of elements were at work... they did the trick. I was able to relax but didn't fall asleep which was what I really wanted. A while later he entered the room with 2 more women. I asked if it had been an hour and he said yes but stay if you would like. I would have liked but had other things to do so I decided to leave so I would disturb the others in a while. The whole experience was very refreshing and worth the price. We experienced the sauna and salt cave duo; while pleasant experience this establishment is missing some of the finer or personal touches to elevate the experience. Friendly, informative, and flexible staff. Upon entering the private room that housed the sauna she explained how to sit, hydrate, and importance of wiping away toxins as you sweat. The sauna functioned perfectly however the blinking LED light made it less homeopathic than expected. I'd love to see appropriate timing, calming/healing colors, and offering typical personal touches like infused waters, teas, robes and slippers between experiences. The salt cave was a chilly room with accented lighting. Don't fret amazingly soft blankets are waiting for you on the chairs. Lighting included: very obtrusive/bright if you say near the moon, blinking lights in the ceiling behind a black canvas, softer more appropriate lighting distributed evenly on the walls. The floor was sand, not dangerous to walk on. There were a few crystals of salt in baskets, on the wall, or on the ground. The cave parts appeared to be spray foam so more decor than homeopathic. The background sounds were nice and with a little imagination you were transported. I felt a tad restricted and minimizing my overall experience as I couldn't speak with my guest in the salt cave for fear of disturbing the other 6 patrons inside with us. Waiting anywhere is inevitable however you redress and wait in lobby between sauna and salt cave session which was not thoroughly explained before booking for upon arrival. So to be relaxed and toxin free, to then put on my street clothes and wait, and the bright outside lights and noise enter the tranquil indoors with each new patron. The spa pack their schedule so tight I'm concerned at the level of cleaning between people especially given the moist hot climate of a sauna and it was less enjoyable as I felt I needed to rush out as to not delay the next person for the sauna but then wait in to allow salt cavers infromt of me to finish. Great online promotions, $75 for two for salt cave and sauna. I'm sure this establishment will elevate the experience and perhaps have more return customers with better scheduling, small touches, and a separate waiting area for those checking in vs. waiting for the next experience. read more

Very nice experience. Cave fits 8 people in gravity chairs. They give you booties to cover your shoes, a blanket since it's chilly, and a bottle of water to hydrate. Some soft music played in the background while micro particles of salt spray in the air as you sit back and relax for an hour. read more

I tried to think of a unique idea for my daughter's birthday party. Fate brought us here. For a fraction of the cost of our other birthday options, we had an incredible afternoon at the Salt Therapy Grotto. I think the parents had every bit as much fun as the children. While the toddlers played with complimentary sand toys, puzzles, and a cool tent, we lounged in comfortable reclining chairs and relaxed to the soothing music. Time flew by, and since we left, we feel fantastic. I'm breathing better, I feel light and peaceful, and we are all in great spirits. This was a perfect place to celebrate and we will definitely be back for more time in the grotto. Loved it. read more

Our first time in a salt cave and it was great. Basically it is a cool quiet room with recliners and soothing music. We had planned on spending an hour and stayed a bit longer. The salt isn't overpowering but you will taste it on your lips when you leave. I am not up to date on all the advantages of salt therapy but it reminds me of spending time at sea or on the beach. I am a big guy and had no issues with the recliners but they may be a bit short for tall people but you could always fold a blanket over the bottom rung to support your calves better. read more

Definitely a must go! Absolutely love everything about the Salt Grotto. Both my daughters have been suffering with bronchitis and have been having breathing treatments and steroids, the Salt Grotto has really enhanced their medications to help them heal faster. It's so welcoming and calm here, from the moment you step foot through the door you start to feel relaxed. The caves are beautiful and very comfortable even down to the snuggly blankets for you to snuggle up in whilst curled up in their chairs. The childs room is perfect, educational toys, a tent and even beach toys so you can build salt castles! I've never napped better :) The owner and the girls that work there are very friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. read more

I love the Salt Therapy Grotto! I highly recommend doing the infrared sauna first and then moving into the Grotto to cool down and relax. I always feel better when I go here and my sleep the night of the visit is very long and restful. Great staff and ambiance. The space if beautifully decorated and very clean. They have lots fresh flowers around too. They are friendly and attentive. I regulary go with a friend that has respiratory problems and the salt therapy really makes her feel better. I recently took my sister to experience the sauna and salt grotto and she loved it. This is good for both adults and children. I have friends that take their kids to the separate children's grotto for their asthma. You need to check this out! read more

The children's room is wonderful!! I have two young children who have chronic bronchitis. It is definitely helping my family and has been very affordable. My children love playing with the array of toys, puzzles and books in the room. This was my husband and I's first time to a halotherapy and we both found it relaxing. It was a little difficult to locate so make sure you check out their website so you know where you're going. We hosted my daughters birthday party in the kids room. It was a wonderful experience! The adults loved relaxing in the lounge chairs while the kids played in the salt like we were at the beach. We made it feel like it was a scene from frozen the movie. My daughter was so excited and the owner was so helpful and caring. I'm glad a place like this exist here in naples with owners who truly want to create a memorable experience. The cost very low as well for all that we received. Can't wait to go back! read more
