Always love a good burrito/burrito bowl, and this visit was no different. I got my typical chicken burrito bowl, mixing up the rice with half white rice and half Spanish. The server was friendly, but kind of skimped on the rice. She did make up for it with a heavy hand when adding the chicken though. The food was delicious, and the fresh ingredients available to build your meal make all the difference in the word. The wife and I dropped in on one of our favorites for a delicious, consistent meals. Salsarita's is a place we can always count on for a good taste experience. I had a chicken bowl with chips and salsa. My wife had a taco combo. Good stuff. The tea is always consistently too sweet. 1/4 cup of sweet and 3/4 unsweetened is the way to go. Drink straight up sweet and a sugar coma will happen shortly thereafter. I won't take a star away for that though. And if you have the app you and earn points which converts to dollars, and they often send deals to the app holders. If you haven't already, give em a try. read more

My job catered Salsarita's for lunch today, and it's my first time giving them a try. From what I had, everything seemed quite fresh and tasty. I took some of the grilled veggies, refried beans, steak, chicken, lettuce, guac, queso, and salsa. I wouldn't have any complaints about the food even if I paid for it, but it was especially yummy for free! I don't know if I would put the quality ABOVE the competition in this realm, but I would say it is equal. If I ever lived locally, I would consider them for takeout sometime. Since I don't currently live locally, I wouldn't make the trip out to High Point specifically for it. read more

You know what I did not see happening tonight... me leaving a 5-star review for Salsarita's! That queso though! And the Coke Zero option always earns bonus points for me. My tacos were perfect. It was legitimately hard to choose what to get because everything looked so fresh. But what you cannot see in my pics is that the crew is an absolute DELIGHT. Five folks helped me between the different stations/cash register and these people are THE top five service professionals I've encountered in ages. Beyond ensuring my tacos were exactly how I wanted them and *chef's kiss* the friendliness factor was through the roof! And as I sat and ate, it was awesome to witness the teamwork. In town visiting my sister and she loves this place, so we decided to grab takeout for dinner. I was nervous about arriving 45 mins before closing, but I went anyways. I ordered a chicken salad and the young lady began preparing my order. She asked what meat I wanted and I repeated chicken. After she got it started she asked a coworker to take over because she had already clocked out. No problem. The second young lady finishes my order and before telling the cashier what I order she asked if my salad was veggie. I didn't think anything of it at the time, and told her it was chicken. Cool. We get home and I begin to dig into my salad, and discover there is no meat. At all. None. Zero. *deep sigh* Not sure who I'm more frustrated with: the first girl I told chicken to 3 times, the second girl for noticing I said it was a chicken salad but there was indeed no chicken, or myself for not paying close enough attention to actually notice the mistake. Late lunch @ 2pm Parking lot is shared and can be crowded due to nail spa and hair salon. You can enter/exit from the front or side door. The restroom was spacious and clean A couple of large TVs and Latin music playing for your enjoyment. Seating options include booths, high top tables, regular tables and a patio area. Employees were nice but didn't show festive attitude as other locations. Ingredients were fresh but needed to be replenished, poor presentation. Glad the beef was not swimming in grease, thank you. Be careful when getting water out of the soda machine, it will splash on you and the floor. How are customers suppose to get the lemons? I'm sure most just use their hand. Ok so the "Mexican Grill" concept has become extremely popular the last few years with Chipotle, Moes, Qdoba, Barberitos and then you have Salsaritas. Salsaritas is my favorite "Mexican Grill" concept and here's why. The food is fresh. When I say fresh I mean made fresh daily. I've had their nachos and burrito and each has been absolutely delicious. The chips are not super salty and are the right texture. They have great Mexican rice, queso is just the right consistency and flavor. The salsas are delicious, my favorite is the hot. This location is also extremely clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and the Manager Cory was nice enough to explain the menu to me since it was my first time going, and Dan the other manager came by my table to check on me. Had the most yummy veggie burrito today at salsaritas. The service was great but I felt like I was being rushed, it was my first time here so I needed time to order and there was no one in line behind me. The food was dynamite, almost like chipotle but they had a much larger variety of toppings like jalepenos, different types of salsa and mango salsa. Honestly they had the best queso I probably have ever had. There was no hot sauce bottles on the shelf, so I had to ask for some and they brang a couple over to my table. I don't know if the chips had free refills but I wish they did cause they went fast and tasted yummy. Overall the quality of the food was great. Came back after being away for several months. My daughter was visiting her friends in Greensboro and we all agreed that this was the best option for lunch. We loved coming here on the regular but since we moved, hadn't been. We were greeted at the door by one of the ladies employed which was nice since she seemed very sincere in the dialogue. It was about how cold it is. She helped them with their order which were all different as one got a hard taco meal, the other got the soft taco meal and lastly a quesadilla meal. All declined the "poquito" because they want to get some ice cream. Usually, it is a great dessert. I got the burrito meal. The female that helped us was awesome, she asked the girls what they wanted and was super patient in their indecision. She also asked and waited politely as I was making my choices. Stopped in after seeing someone at work with a salad. This place is located on Wendover Avenue closer to the High Point Area. This a quick stop if you are in haste for lunch. I enjoyed the chicken bowl. it is set up similar to fast food Mexican style of food. It is similar to Chipotle, Moe's. They have a variety of various proteins- chicken, pork, beef and vegetables. One thing i do appreciate about this place is the portions. They do offer 2 portion sizes on the rice bowls. If you do not have a big appetite i would highly suggest the smaller portion- i had divide that into 2 and take some home for dinner. The staff also seem to be having fun even when the queues is long. read more

The wife and I were in the mood for Mexican. We had issues with the place at Adams Farm as well as the fast food place down the street from here. My wife had food catered by Salsaritas at her job and raved about the freshness. I ordered on the app and I like the way it is set up. I ordered a six pack of tacos and there are a lot of options. They will even give you diced tomato and sour cream on the tacos for no extra charge. My pickup time was 7:15, which is the time I arrived. I had to wait about five minutes, but not too bad. The staff is friendly as well. The wife was right about the freshness. Everything was very fresh and tasty. I thought the price was very reasonable as well. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. On New Years day there was no indication they were going to close early so placed an order online for me and my husband around 6:30pm, my order said it would be ready around 7, I showed up just a few minutes after 7 and all the lights were off. My heart sank, in order to place an order online you have to pay to submit the order. Of course I tried calling, no one answered, I looked online to see if I could cancel my order to at least get my money back and it said "can not cancel since it's already been prepared". Not sure who was preparing our food because it was clear no one was there. Total waste of $26 and a drive out there. Ended up eating McDonald's. Recently we decided to try this place again (I'm not sure why). It was around 8pm, so we figured it would be better to order online before they closed. I ordered a steak quesorito and my husband ordered a steak burrito. Again, in order to order online you have to pay before hand so we did. Our total came up to $23 this time, kinda pricey for 2 people and "fast food". Anyways my husband shows up to pick up the food thinking it would be ready, come to find out they ran out of chicken and steak. They only had beef left. At this point, we already paid online, I was pregnant and hungry so he just got them with beef. I realize it was close to closing time so they probably didn't want to make anymore, however they had a line that literally went all the way to the door... you really mean to tell me making more food to please all these customers isn't worth it? If it was a matter of waiting 5-10min that would have been fine, but instead we were expected to take what was left. Pretty disappointing. What a dump! Despite what others may think, this location is terrible compared to the one off new garden in Greensboro. Wanna know why? Poor service, these guys move the line as if they just popped a Valium during break, and with that slow movement from the staff, our food ended up nice and cold by the time we got to the table. Next, their quesorito ( or whatever it's called ) is $8.00 for a ton of queso smeared on a tortilla...totally overrated and a waste of money. Next, when you get the pizza at Salsaritas on new garden its prepared beautifully. However, at this location the finished product looks like something you just retrieved from a session of dumpster diving. Finally, and this is a fact! My 4 yr old daughter was eating the cheesy nachos and spit it out!!! She said "I don't like this and then she threw up in the bowl"!!! You read that right, SHE THREW UP! I liked this place, it's a nice alternative to Chipotle. I can't say that it's better, just different and not in a bad way. The first time I tried a burrito and had a side of queso. Ugh. My family and I have been coming to this location for over a year, always on Mondays around noon for lunch to get the kids eat free special. On our visit today (1/9/2017) we were told kids do NOT eat free until after 4pm. We spoke to the female manager who said this was always the rule, kids do not eat free until after 4pm, ALL the employees agreed, even ones that always honor the deal. We tried to explain that we have always eaten there at lunch time with kids eat free (over 15 times at least)! They looked at us like we were crazy. Really. EVERY online site shows that kids eat free ALL DAY on Monday at Salsaritas. It's time for a manager who knows the rules, and doesn't tell us that she's never heard of free kids before 4pm. Worst experience in a long time. Table was dirty, had to ask for it to be wiped off. Music was so loud you could hardly talk to each other. My Quesurito was cold. My wife asked for it to be warmed up and the guy said, "But I'm putting hot Queso on it." He even put it on a grill for all of like 15 seconds. Still cold. Queso cheese tasted like it was made from a powder. My kids Quesadilla was over done and cold. My wife's salad was cold, like it's supposed to be, but was only so-so. We are giving it 2 stars because the place (overall, just not our table) was clean and the staff was friendly but we probably won't be back. read more
