We hired Do It Right Roofing, LLC for work on our home and were very unhappy with the results. The…read morecompany charged substantially more than what was originally agreed to, even after we asked in writing for updated estimates for the additional work they said was needed. They also removed and replaced siding on the wrong portion of the house, which was not part of the agreement. The siding that was installed differed from what we had discussed over email, and we repeatedly had to contact them to send workers back to finish items listed in the contract that were left incomplete after the job was marked as finished. The workmanship and communication were poor, and the experience was far from what we expected based on their initial estimate and representations. Our "custom chimney cap" has been laughed at when we have shown images to our coworkers and family. It has visible hammer marks, bent and uneven metal, and is far from what we were expecting. We tried to resolve our concerns directly and through continued communication, but the issues remain unresolved.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. I'm not going to go into detail but…read moreI'm sure he will come on here and defend his actions, but here's the gist of it. Communication: As a business owner, when you are having a consistent issue with a job, the onus is on you to deal with it. Not once did you come to inspect the problems that we were addressing in person despite being located less than 30 minutes away. Additionally not responding to numerous emails outlining our valid concerns but choosing to immediately respond to a negative google review, displays the priorities of the company. Lastly, when your workers replace siding on the wrong portion of the house that was not included in the contract, try to not to defend your self as "doing us a favor". If you were truly doing us a favor, you would have 1) communicated there was additional damage that was not identified on the initial inspection, and that you planned on fixing it. 2) responded to our communication in a timely manner asking why they were replacing the siding on the house. Craftsmanship. The pictures I have included in the photos section speak for themselves. The chimney cap is not Sealed, as was specified in the contract, and the "custom steeple cap" is honestly an embarrassment. Overall if I could give this company a negative review I would. I forgot to mention one thing. If you as a customer are waiting to make final payment on a project until a response to your concerns are addressed, you can rest assured that he will avoid all communications outside of a google review, but then threaten a lien on your house the day after you place it on the market.

When the roof was installed, it took less than two full days. The crew was amazing and explained everything that was going on. It looks great. I was sad to see the job done so quickly cause they were just such a great crew to work with.

I had a bathroom remodel I was told it would take 3-4 weeks, almost 4 months later, I hired another contractor to complete the job. The tile is poorly set, it is not level, the grout is not flush with the tile. Tile was scratched. Some of the new fixtures are scratched. They received the tile in plenty of time, however failed to check the shipment and when it was time for install found the boxes and tile damaged, another delay. My husband had to fix the barn doors that were installed, while doing so, found several broken screws and numerous drill holes. The cross slates were glued on not nailed, they have been replaced twice by us. Didn't fix a joist in the floor, that was on the job list. Called me and demanded final payment when the job was not finished. (didn't pay completely until finished). It was excuse after excuse.

They can hang a shower door crooked.. but then tell you after the fact that they did it to make it plumb to the shower instead of giving you a heads up before doing it. 2. They fixed a hole in the ceiling. And when you call them on it, they come back to fix it with your own materials. 3. First attempt to reattach molding around a closet door and they break it and call it good. Second attempt to fix they cut it short and claim that it dosen't come that long. But strangely the third attempt it came out fine. 4. I had a complaint that the the mixing valve on the shower wasn't getting hot enough, so they kindly set it to scald (Max). When asked if there was an in between, they said yes but left it at max. 5. They brought a dumpster in for the demo of the bathroom and told us if we wanted to, we could put stuff in there but not to go over the lip of it. But then told us it was saposto be for the demo only and they should have charged us for it. My problem with that was if that's the case, I must have gotten a new garbage disposal and been full of all that fast food garbage that was in there too.. 6. They also wanted to charge us work that was not done. 7. The contract stated 2-piece tub but a one piece showed up, so they had to cut a hole in the side of the house and and left the corner uncovered for a day while it rained. In short, if I hadn't have check the work at all times, I would have gotten suckered.

Scheduling = A, Initial Communications = A, Estimate & Sales approach = D…read more NOTE: I did NOT get a bid or have work done, so rating/recommendation is only a "maybe". I still think it's important for prospective customers to have upfront expectations. I submitted an online request for a free estimate. The office called and set up the appt. On the day of, Jeremy texted to confirm and then when he was en route. He showed up, I explained and showed him a place where a leak occurred and that's what made us decide to replace. We discussed new architectural asphalt shingles. He was then going to go outside, check on the roof and afterwards into the attic from which he'd work an estimate. He said he could then meet with me or schedule the next day to meet, for an hour or even just 45 minutes. I work M-F and said I did not need a "sales pitch", I have some working/DIY knowledge of projects, materials and bidding. He then suggested next week. I declined saying it's not necessary. He said there's no reason then for him to proceed with doing the work if I wasn't going to meet afterwards. I was quite surprised. I said "okay, I'll pass" and he said 'thank you' and left. I've had two full estimates from two OTHER, reputable Roofing companies last week, no sales push. They went on the roof, walked the perimeter, sat in their cars and sent the estimates to my email and phone. Not sure why Patriot INSISTS on a sales meeting! Disappointed.
