I can't speak highly enough of these folks. I've worked with a couple, and even those I haven't have been amazing. Not only are they kind and sweet, but they're good at what they do, they won't ever upcharge you or try and do something that won't come out amazing. These folks KNOW what they're doing and I trust them all. I've loved the cuts, colors, and everything in-between. Even my father, a grumpy old man, loves coming in at 7am on Saturday (and let's be real no one else has those hours) and hasn't had a complaint. I strongly recommend these folks and always will. read more

After 2 years of DIY pandemic boxed hair dye jobs, I was in desperate need of color correction. I made an appointment with Esmeralda for single process, and she carefully looked at my hair to match it with the exact color swatch that would work to match my roots and cover up all of the grays that had sprouted from pandemic parenting stress! Aside from doing excellent work with my hair color, she does a fantastic job with cuts and blowouts. I usually hate getting my hair blow dried when I go to a salon because I feel like I'm getting violently attacked with a heat gun, but Esmeralda is not only gentle, but FAST and makes my natural pin straight hair look super shiny with nice, natural looking body. Esmeralda is now my go-to stylist for coloring and cuts at Salone Estetica. The salon itself is also really clean and everyone who works there is super kind and friendly. There's a really nice and warm community vibe with all the stylists and clients which I always appreciate at any business. It's centrally located in Winchester so it's easy to grab parking in the street for quick appointments, or you can go to the paid by plate lot by the nearest Winchester commuter rail stop to park which is about 5 min away. Overall this is the best experience I've had at a salon in the Greater Boston area. read more

The staff is professional, friendly and exceptionally skilled. They listen to the customer and deliver exactly what is expected. I have been to several salons in Boston and nearby communities but Salone Estetica is my favorite due to the warm and welcoming environment. read more

I have been going to Guity for haircuts and, in the last few years, color for my greys. Guity has a genius for color and her cuts are so good that even after my hair grows out quite a bit, the shape is still evident. The salon in general is welcoming and feels like visiting old friends (with flattering mirrors). read more

I was recommended by my friend to see Cecilia and she was fantastic, but she is now on maternity leave and I desperately needed my hair done so I seen Maria the owner and she was amazing as well.. I am in love with my hair and she got me to the shade of blonde I've been missing. I also am a salon owner and like to get out of my own salon and relax in someone else's and I am completely happy. Highly recommend both ladies.. thank you again. read more

I had an appointment for Yuko hair straightening recently and boy did Lindsey do a great job! I am beyond pleased with it and will certainly be back for further treatments. I have had Yuko done about 10 times now but this is the first time Lindsey has done it for me. She is an extremely competent stylist, extremely thorough. Everyone that helped with my hair was super nice as well. I HIGHLY recommend Salone Estetica. I tricky wish I lived closer so I could have all my salon needs taken care of. (I live 3.5 hours away) Thank you Lindsey and the entire salon!! read more

Horrible mannerisms of the owners. They treat their employees horribly and don't care whatsoever about legal breaks or consequences. The stylists do a great job but I wouldn't go back simply because of how horrible the owners treat their employees read more

This place is my absolute fav. I drive an hour each way every month to experience all that S.E. does for me. They get the e-scheduling, the professionalism, the personal touch, the quality of services. yes I'm a sucker for that "shoulder ritual", but I'd travel twice as far to get to my awesome stylist! can't recommend it more highly! read more

The service at Salone Estetica is exceptional. All of the staff are genuinely engaged in the customer experience from a simple wash / blow dry to full works -how you feel and look is the goal. Maria and crew were amazing during COVID , ensuring a safe, healthy environment . read more

I was a customer at Salone Estetica and left, I went back because they really are the best in the area. Sometimes you have to go elsewhere to realize how amazing something is. Maria runs a clean, modern salon that can't be beat. I highly recommend Maria and Giddy! read more

Hard to find an artist in a salon, but Maria is. Beautiful color, great cut, carefully thought out, consulting with me all the while but giving great advice. My search for a great salon in over! read more

My daughter was very upset about a haircut she'd gotten somewhere else earlier that day and I called Salone Estetica close to closing and asked if there was anyway they could take a look and help her out. Maria offered to stay late, spoke kindly with my daughter to figure out what she really wanted, and transformed her cut to one she loved. We were so grateful for her empathy and skill! read more

I have been a client and fan of Salone Estetica for over 20 years. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else! I have been seeing Guiti Rashon for almost all of this time, and I adore her. My children (now in their 20s) also regularly got their hair cut here. The salon is a Winchester institution, beloved by many. read more

Salone Estetica is a unpretentious, high quality salon. I have been twice, getting cuts from Lindsey both times, and I have left feeling super happy and confident each visit. I was a bit nervous after moving to Winchester to visit a salon that might be "a little out of my league", but Salon Estetica is the exact opposite: welcoming, friendly, and efficient. I WISH I knew the name of the girl who washes and preps your hair because she makes getting your hair washed feel like an actual scalp massage. Highly recommend all aspects of this salon - from the front desk to the stylists to the products! read more

Have been coming here for years, mostly to Maria who knows my hair very well and always gives me a great haircut/style. A big compliment to Cecilia who is also expert at shaping/cutting. The ladies at the front desk are accommodating and very polite too! All through this nasty "pandemic", this salone has meticulously followed the proper protocol. Overall, this is one great salone! Cudos to all!!! read more

I get my hair done here on a regular basis, and Kim is nothing but a five star experience. She's thoughtful, funny, and does a a really professional job with my hair. I like the Aveda products and touches that this salon includes, such as the "shoulder ritual" light massage with the hair wash and scented relaxation oils. The facial I received was also a 5 star experience - the professional, friendly, and relaxing experience was WONDERFUL and I thought worth every penny. The aesthetician really takes her time to analyze your skin and explain what she's doing. I found the experience consistent with the Aveda standards I expect. My pedicure was meh, and NOT up to the Aveda standards I expect, which is one main reason why I am giving the salon itself 4 stars. If I just want my toes painted, I go to my local $15/20 place. But at a salon I want that little something extra, time and attention, and it was pretty lacking in my experience. I also find the name tags they wear here a little tacky and not with the Aveda zen brand style I find in the stores. read more

Excellent salon. Always welcoming and on time. They offer water tea whatever you want to make you feel comfortable. Cuts and colors have always been Excellent. I highly recommend salon Estetica. read more

I have had my hair done at Salone Estetica a few times by Sandra. She is a very creative hairdresser and has a lot of personality. The salon is smaller but I know they are actively expanding so I can't really judge fully on the environment but it is welcoming and clean. It's a bit busy and loud but that is kind of the case for a lot of hair salons. I love most of the Aveda products and love that they give you a little massage as part of their signature "chair ritual". Their prices are fair and they give new customers 20% off and also offer coupons in your email if you haven't been in a while. read more

I have been going to this Salon for a long time and will continue... the staff is following strict Covid Restrictions- I felt completely safe in going inside. Wow Maria replies to my review and starts attacking me and leaves out the part where she said the school was filthy but acknowledges that she called the owner beautiful?! This woman is crazy! I will never be returning to Salone estetica again. I've gotten replies to my reviews on yelp before but it was always a nice simple apology. Once again Maria has to argue argue argue well my family of 4 has all been to your salon and NONE of us will be returning! My whole family is upset with how you treated me and your reply to my review! If someone doesn't like the way you treat them or doesn't like the service you gave you accept it apologize and fix it! Not continue to argue with them!!! You just lost 4 clients Salone estetica. Also I am 100% certain that I said thin highlights heavy foiling. The front half of my hair was thin and heavy and looked good. The back was where she rushed and there was hardly any. I also never at any point told her that I liked it or it looked good. Even if I did as a client you have a right to feel worried about how someone will react to negative feedback especially now that they're trying to have a yelp war with you! read more

Oh, how love Salone Estetica. I love that it's right next to that coffee shop and I can get an iced coffee to sip on while Colleen (who rocks and I will explain why in a minute) cuts my hair and my color sets. I recently went back to my natural color of blonde; it's a beautiful thing. Colleen: if you worked at a salon in Florida or Denver I would get a jetblue credit card and accumulate miles just to go and get my haircut. I am serious: you are that good. no, you are that GREAT. She does a hell of a job on my color and the cut stays looking good for weeks. I could even skip a haircut and go every 8 - 10 weeks, but I enjoy it there so much it feels good to go more often. AND...did I mention Colleen is hilarious and has an incredible eye for style and shape. hair shape. "the cut" is her speciality. Dawn and Melissa are waxing extraordinaires. Ann Marie gives a gorgeous mani / pedi. Maria, the owner is an absolute sweetheart. I have known her for years and every time I am in there she asks about my family, it is very nice. She definitely cares about the client experience and wants it to be top-notch, and it always is. When you need to beautify yourself, go to Salone Estetica and see the women I mentioned above. You'll love it! read more

I experienced a great facial treatment provided by Lorena. She's also a massage therapist so the neck, scalp massages were very relaxing. They use Aveda products, botanical and good quality The facials included extractions..mine were tough to remove still she ensured it was all removed and clear. Had a full 50mins session. Even the receptionist was pleasant and gave me good warnings and options for Parking , which is on - street and only 1 hour read more

My first trip to Salon Estetica. Kim is amazing and very friendly. She did a great job as she comes highly recommended. Reasonably priced. One thing that disappointed me was that I have to pay extra if I want to dry my hair ($42+). All the salons I have gone to have either provided me a hair dryer so I can at least partially dry it before walking out or they run the dryer so at least it's not super wet. It's not a deal breaker, though. Will still go back. I just had to make sure I will always bring a hat to cover my head since it's cold now. Front desk staff and everyone else were really very friendly and welcoming! I'm a satisfied customer, for sure! read more

I've been going here for a little less than a year and it's my new favorite place. They give you a little shoulder massage after they wash your hair! Such a nice touch. Everyone is great but Cecilia is amazing. She knows what she's doing, she's easy to communicate with, there's no judgement on my hair or my choices even in subtle ways. She's always happy to explain to me why something I want might work or might not work which has been helpful for me in learning what I want to do with my hair. TL;DR-- Reasonable prices (for Winchester Center), great products, excellent service. read more
