Since I don't live in the area I had to rely on reviews, I didn't have the time while up in RI to do trials at multiple places. I went in for my first trial over the holidays. And well, it didn't go so well! A mix of my hair, the extensions I brought, and just how it was initially done. The lesson of the story is this if you don't like it speak up!!!! Jaclynn was so nice about the whole thing and just wanted to make sure I loved the style. Since she knew I was leaving for NC soon she was able to book me for a day later to give it another try. If you are a bride and aren't happy with your first trial just tell Jaclynn and try again. She certainly won't be offended and I really appreciated how nice and understanding she was about the whole thing. The second trial went so much better and I left happy. Then since I overthink everything I decided I wanted to go back to more of what I originally had in mind. I booked another hair and makeup trial with Jaclynn the morning of my shower. This time around everything was perfect! I didn't cry when I found the wedding dress, but I almost cried tears of joy I was so happy with the look. Third time is a charm! She even checked in with me the next week to make sure all went well with the look holding up throughout the day. As others have noted the plaza Jaclynn is in, isn't much to look at. But, don't let that deter you. All the staff that I have met have been super friendly and the interior is bright and spacious. If you are looking for a wedding hair and makeup person I highly recommend her! Her salon also does cut, color, extensions, and even nails! Wedding business is a big thing for her, but her salon is also perfect if you are just looking for a new stylist or want a kick ass manicure. Looking forward to seeing Jaclynn on wedding day!

They also said that I now can not wear contacts for my wedding. She always offers realistic and hair safe options to maintain my hair healthy but also giving me what I want~ she is very kind and makes me feel comfortable with asking questions and making sure I'm ok during the whole process which for me, can take hours seated while color processes.
