This never happens when I get manicures at my usual salon, especially well before the 2 week mark. I expect a properly done gel manicure to last 2 weeks. 6 days is just not acceptable for that service and now it looks awful. My sister came with me and also got a gel mani with another service provider and hers is actually now worse than mine. It's completely peeled off about 50% of the nails and needs to be removed or re-done. I unfortunately won't be back and I know my sister won't either. Disappointing.

Discovered on a drive by and decided to check it out because of the "cute" name, the sign that says…read more"Now Open" and the Express pedicure - $15. I mean, it's Summer, how much leg massaging do I need for getting a pedi, say, every 1.5 or 2 weeks? These things are a luxury...but I digress. Discovered the owner as someone with whom I was familiar at a previous nail salon haunt. My first visit, though, I was handed over to an overfamiliar pedicurist. Couldn't stop chatting me up and asking personal questions. Even assumed that I cut hair for a living because I was wearing a black shirt. On my second visit, I was passed on to a young manicurist-in-training (this was Summer and she seemed on vacation and still learning). Not only did she do a poor job (see picture of nail job), but she was not polite at all. Never smiled. Seemed to want to be anywhere but there. At one point during the pedicure service,she asked me to lift my feet up in the air while she flipped the towel over to fold. Awkward and uncomfortable. Finally, while I was drying my nails, she was very impatient to leave with her friends that she actually came over to where I was sitting and asked me to get up and follow her to the counter to pay so she can leave. The owner was not around and I noticed she purposely did this on the sly. I did not appreciate that at all. I wish this place good luck but my advice is to be vigilant over customer service and quality control. This is a time to make or break it, earn a good reputation so more locals will visit. In my case, I just didn't think driving over there is worth it considering there are tons of nail places within an average of a half mile from each other.
