Came to this salon for the 1st time and although I was skeptical because of it being a new place for me and also ongoing construction I had the most amazing experience! not only did my hair come out beautiful but the girls that work there are so friendly, easy to talk to and we're so accommodating! I have been coming to Split Ends for about 5 years now and I can honestly say if my regular girl is not available I will always say yes to taking an appointment at the time I'm available with any Hair Specialist. Hailey Rocked it today. I felt right at home like always. I needed more care then I thought and she made sure to tone my ends, get me through a Keratin Express (Which ladies we all should be doing twice a year minimum to straighten our hair.) and trim off the stuff we all don't want in our hair life. She went over a new routine for my natural curls even though today was a straight day. She took the time to even suggest how I need to dry my hair and what to use. I have been struggling with my curls and now I know why!! I can not explain my years of struggle before this salon with hair lose, end breakage, all the while I thought my hair was not growing but the truth was I did not know about my hair. I was excited to go to this salon because they were open on Sunday and the price was okay. You absolutely get what you pay for. I booked appointments for both me and my daughter, as we were trying to go lighter for the summer. The first time I went the color was very brassy but I really liked the cut. The second time, I brought up the brassiness and was met with an attitude. I was trying to communicate what I wanted done and she was not willing to hear it. She acted upset with me and defensive. I kept being told it would take time to get my hair the color I wanted. Okay, I figured I'd give her yet another shot. The third, and last, time I went to get my roots touched up. I left with black roots (darker than when I went in) and my hair texture is greasy and horrible. I am still (3 washes later) unable to get the greasiness of whatever she put in out of my hair. My daughter went her first time and her hair looked awful. I spoke to the manager and they blamed my daughter for using boxed dye in the past. I thought that made sense and decided to give it another shot. The second time she left and instead of her hair looking red, it looked pink. She asked for 'money pieces' and ended up with two bleached strips in the front that damaged her hair and looked ridiculous when it was pinned up. It is hard to tell the stylist what you want because she gets extremely defensive and acts completely rude. She is also pushy about us buying products from the salon and when I mentioned I didn't need more product, she argued with me that I DID need more. It's obnoxious. We will NEVER return there as I truly believe they use dye products that are cheap. If that isn't the case, the stylist we saw is just horrible at color. read more

So my daughter went to get her hair trimmed and the stylist curled the ends after the trim, Did not notice how fucked up and crooked it actually came out until she washed it and straightened it. I called to tell them about the bad haircut and their excuse is one of their best employees cut it and they don't understand what a crooked haircut looks like ,maybe she should come in and give her a second chance. My daughter didn't want to do that as an option she was scared it would come out shorter and more crooked so instead of either refunding or giving her a gift certificate to go to another split ends with another stylist to have this fixed they chose to do nothing about it. So here is the picture for the owner who didn't understand what a crooked haircut looks like. So after $50 this is what you get and have to give them another chance ! read more

Lived in RI all my life. Had to move to GA due to a job transfer 8 years ago. I come back every year to visit with my family and I took my niece here today for the first time to get a foil and cut. We were with Marina and she was amazing. It will be her new spot for all her hair needs. She took the time to us her opinion on what would look good on her and fit her face frame. Samantha provided an excellent service starting with a great consultation. she had a full understanding of what I wanted to get out of that visit. I've had a variety of services done, from deep conditioning treatments, Keratin treatment, full highlights with toning and just recently a fabulous modern shag haircut which I needed desperately! I've also had a lash lift and tint done which was pretty cool. I have almost nonexistent eyelashes so I didn't get the big dramatic "lift" effect but with the tint added, it really made my lashes look fuller. I do have some curl to them now which I never had before so that's awesome. Samantha worked efficiently, professionally and the whole time maintained a totally friendly attitude and really did a great job. I look forward to going back when it's time to get my roots done ‍All of the stylists in the salon seem to get along really nicely so that also makes for an environment that you want to come back to. Stopped in to get a wax and the customer service was horrible! The woman mumbled directions as to where to sit, she didn't even ask what I wanted done for my wax, the wax was so hot she burned my skin and didn't even apologize or try to cool it down. She left wax on my face and got it in my hair. I am very disappointed in the first experience at this salon! I will NOT be going back and I do NOT recommend this salon! Went to this salon after getting my hair ruined by another hair dresser at a different salon. The receptionist was very helpful and patient with me while trying to book the right appointment that I needed. She booked me with Mariana who spent more time on my hair than the original apt booking time! Instead of rushing me out she kept checking in on me during the process and walking me through step by step. Her assistant was also very kind and helpful! The absolute WORST PLACE EVER. I booked an appointment as a friend said see Jordan she was booked so chose next available. The sloppy looking hair stylist I did have didn't even greet me at the door it was a school aged looking girl learning to do hair. God help them in that salon. Got to the chair Haley didn't even introduce herself. Had no conversation, showed a picture of what I wanted as a ombre she mentioned during the testing process of how she was asked to hang with her friends but it was getting late. Long story short. I left with roots done of a completely different color not even matching. When I told the owner she begged me to come back. I did. The owner bad mouthed other customers who had issues at her salon. She took 3 hours and PROMISED MY HAIR WOULD NOT BE ORANGE. Shows me in the mirror and says see it's not orange. They also RUINED A BRAND NEW SWEATER I HAD WITH BLACK/brown dye. Gave me 30 for it off the bill which was an absolute lie. 300-30- incredible. 300 for what?? Tells me that some customers you are never going to make them happy. Basically referring to me. We went back and forth on text extremely unprofessional and finally stated would give me my money back. 5-7 business days. Here we are two weeks later. I reached out this past Sunday and stated would call me Monday. Here we are Wednesday night I texted with no response. I will put this all over the place and contact the news as we paid for it with me and others with similar issues like this. All I want is my money back. I posted before and yelped took it down probably because she said I was satisfied. FAR FROM IT. This salon is so welcoming and accommodating, with my busy schedule I appreciate the flexibility. Marina is the ultimate "hair doctor" I literally go to her everytime with fragments of ideas I want for my color/style but I am never sure of a exact image and everytime she kills it! She is patient and informative throughout the whole process! She is honest if she thinks a look I show her isn't ideal for me. I trust her immensely with my hair! Coming here was the WORST idea of my life. I have been growing my hair out for 4 years length almost at my butt, I asked for a trim (if you must! Only one inch off) she took about 3 or more inches off. I asked for a V cut in the back and she cut straight across the back. And I asked to frame my face starting at the crease of my eye and she gave me bangs!? I have no words. This is easily the WORST haircut I have gotten in my entire life. DO NOT GO TO KYLEES CHAIR! when I went to get the front fixed at my new favorite salon (Fringe hair works) my stylist said it looks like a child cut it and I 100% AGREE! He also said the scissors must have been extreamly dull because the bottom of my hair is absolutely destroyed. People, I am devastated! I will never go here again!! Dont' do it... i went there for an updo as it was the only place i could find open on a Sunday. They booked me with one of their newly promoted stylists. After an hour and half (i've never had an updo take that long) despite my dissatisfaction with it... i had to end the appointment as i was late for my own shower. I can't stand every picture i see from that day because of what my hair looked like... i was better off just doing it myself. My theory is if you can't handle an updo, no way should you have scissors in your hands. Maybe it's different with the experienced stylists but the vibe in this place is so strange. It's a teaching salon so the experienced stylists have assistants who run around plugging in blow dryers, cleaning off trays as if it's an OR, and then stand there and watch said stylist do your hair and barely speak. Keep in mind, these girls supposedly went thru beauty/hair school... so why they aren't practicing their craft and being treated so badly i don't know. I actually saw one of the stylist as the assitant to get them a coffee. Really? Not my cup of tea but maybe it's yours... read more

I've been having my hair colored by Maria for almost six months. She's done a fantastic job. The hair color seems to hold very well and my hair is always soft and silky afterwards.
