I was so shocked I couldn't speak. My color was supposed to be a dimensional blonde but instead was a brassy reddish yellow stripes. The cut was not what we discussed at all. It was longer in the back and shorter in the front. I asked her to straighten my hair so we could discuss the length and shape. At this point her next client came in and was sat in front of her station. I felt like we were now being rushed. She again began to apply heat to my hair with no product and roughly ran the straightener through my hair making my hair look like a broom. She cut more off the back and said I was done. She put some hair product on my hair as I was leaving. I honestly was in such shock I could barely communicate my feelings. I just grabbed my things and left. This is not the place to go if you want a soft dimensional balayage or highlight. I can't believe I paid over $450 and now am frantically looking for someone to fix my hair. I've had two local stylists tell me I need a color correction. My advice is research each stylists Instagram account and choose accordingly.

Ashley and Tiffany - late of nearby Eclips - bring their expertise in hair styling and color to their new business located in a somewhat dated but soon to be transformed space. I called the salon and the manager Sebastian was very apologetic and quick to help. Fadi then called me back and offered to correct the service for free if she wanted to give them another shot. Needless to say Fadi and his team went above and beyond to ensure she got exactly what she wanted the first time. It's a night and day difference. He was so kind and the smile on her face after he finished cutting and coloring her hair was worth it. I'm confident she will return to see Fadi. Extremely Disappointing Experience with Zero Compassion…read more I had a haircut scheduled with Cara at 11:00 AM today. At 7:00 AM that morning, my 3-year-old daughter woke up with a 104.2 fever. Any parent knows that means an immediate call to the pediatrician or urgent care. At 7:15 AM, I emailed the salon explaining the situation and asked if I could please reschedule to next week. Their response was simply that their policy requires charging 50% of the service cost for missed appointments, and that they would "gladly reschedule" once the fee was applied. (see image attached) While I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, this response felt surprisingly rigid given the circumstances. Then, about 20 minutes before the appointment, my daughter began violently vomiting everywhere, making it impossible to bring her with me and confirming that she needed immediate medical care. Despite all this, I still went to the salon briefly to explain the situation in person, hoping that speaking face-to-face might allow for a little understanding and how they should consider extenuating circumstances to retain customers. I explained that my child had a 104 fever and was now vomiting, and asked why there wasn't any flexibility. The front desk called the owner, but instead Cara came out to speak with me. What followed was honestly shocking. Her response was chillingly cold and essentially she said policy is policy over and over. Frankly, it was incredibly weird and off putting. There was no pause, no concern about the situation, no attempt to work with me -- just a flat statement that the charge still applies regardless of the circumstances. Mind you, at that point I was already in the salon, so it wasn't a cancelled appointment at that point. I was seeking non robotic clarification. She said it so many times that I felt pushed out. It was weird and creepy. I fully respect that businesses need cancellation policies. However, the complete lack of empathy or discretion in an obvious medical situation involving a small child was deeply disappointing. Policies matter. But how you treat people when real life happens matters more. If you choose to book here, just be aware that there appears to be no flexibility even for legitimate emergencies.

Yet when I complained that it felt like a ripoff bacuse the work was so poor, he invented this new story that: (1) I received a "retouch on my roots" that I should have paid extra for (2) in a perfect world I should pay EXTRA (WHAT?) for bringing my own dye in (because Arctic Fox is so controversial??!?) (3) that "the area is expensive" (4) that apparently i need an ongoing longterm relationship to have a dye job that doesn't leave me feeling ripped off (5) that "we always have free dialog" so that "you can alawys get alterations to your service complimentary of course" -- this is the biggest sticking point. Oh really? You have a dialog for complimentary alterations? When I messaged my complaint directly on Yelp, there was no response. The same inbox that booked my appointments suddenly went silent. Why was I not offered free alterations if I don't like my service? BECUASE THAT'S A STORY YOU TELL ONLY ON YELP. THAT OPTION WAS NEVER GIVEN TO ME. This is a man who tells one story to the public, and another in private. Personally, I call that LYING and DISHONEST. ---- He then said "i DID WHAT WAS NEEDED" to explain a bad job that was unsatisfying. So was MICROWAVING FISH AND EATING IT IN FRONT OF ME needed? Because most of the work wasn't even done by you, it was done by a subordinate. Anyone with 1/2 a brain should be able to see the level of ego just dripping off his response. Now go look at the other people with unsatisfied balayages. They were smart enough to take pictures and you can see how terrible some of them are. I'm tempted to go dig up my pictures. ORIGINAL REVIEW: tbh i won't be returning after that $280 dye job + cut where you used the scissor to make like 2 cuts, and where i had visible roots walking out of the place, where it was obvious y'all just wanted me to go because you closed up afterward and were rushing me out. Yeah... as friendly as y'all were ... Visible roots?!?!? No discount for bringing my own dye? Literally every time a friend has come to my house i've had less roots than the one time i paid So what was the point of paying? There was none. I had a wedding emergency and a friend who stole hair products from me. I had no choice but to find SOMEBODY that day. Everyone loves my hair, but i feel ripped the f off. P.S. I brought my two kids here for back to school cuts. The place immediately struck me as quite…read moreoutdated. They were a bit pushy and aggressive. They charged me for a full blowout for one kid when she only got it cut and wanted to leave it completely wet. I questioned them on it and they just said it's the same no matter what. I also asked To put Tip on the credit card but she was already running it, so she did a separate transaction for the tip by charging my card and handing me the cash (she decided to not even give me the full amount she charged on the card when I did the math later!!!) Pretty sure that is a business No-no to charge the tip and hand over cash. We will not be back. The cuts were absolutely nothing special and nothing more than I could have done at home with my own pair of kitchen scissors after learning a basic "Covid cut" during the pandemic.
