I did a full foil, color, blow dry & cut. Although she wasn't able to do exactly what I wanted in the first session due to my hair being so dark, I was very happy with the outcome. My haircut on the other hand was done by her assistant & idk what she saw in the photo I showed her but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a picture from a 1980s magazine featuring Bonjovi or the hair do Miley Cyrus wore when accepting her Grammy for flowers. idk I'm still trying to figure it out!! I rebooked with Carly for 6 weeks out. I left without saying a word as I would never hurt someone's feelings. I was scheduled for today @11. I recieved a message 2 days ago asking if I could come in for 10. I responded yesterday with I would Try. At 10:17 the salon reached out. I responded at 10:43 saying I was running behind. I was then told she couldn't take me as my appointment was @10 & she had another client. I informed the person my app was @11 & I stated I would TRY for 10. They then went on to say they wanted to charge $390 for a missed app & none of that money goes toward my next service. Here's the lowdown!! Carly double booked & tried to get me in earlier due to timing Or she had another engagement. When I booked my service right after I got my hair done, she knew what I needed, so the excuse of me needing a bigger service therefore requiring more time is bull****. They then try to make me feel like it was my fault & try to get money out of me for a service they clearly couldnt provide because they said if I got there at 11 they can do a partial service. They wouldn't allow me to rebook unless I paid there "no show" fee. even though they were in contact with me before my appointment time which was 11. Also get your haircut at your own risk!!! This is why I gave this place 2 stars.

I came in asking for a basic brown balayage with lighter pieces and made it very clear that I do not like red tones in my hair. I even showed a reference photo. I ended up with noticeable HOT PINK highlights, which was completely unexpected and not what I asked for at all. There was no conversation or confirmation that any kind of pink tone would be added to my hair. I gave the salon a chance to fix it and came back, spending over 8 hours across 2 days trying to correct it. Unfortunately, the end result still has red undertones and now looks muddy, not like a balayage. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. The owner was dismissive and blamed the result on a very slight color filter on my phone, saying I "should have known" I was getting pink. Even if a photo looked slightly warm, that does not justify adding hot pink tones without clearly communicating that to a client first. The owner honestly seemed annoyed that I was there and barely finished drying my hair. When I expressed that I was still unhappy after spending $300 on something that wasn't what I asked for, I was told I would have had to pay that amount regardless, and the conversation was essentially shut down. I also tried calling afterward to resolve things and never received a response. I understand that miscommunications can happen, which is why I gave them the opportunity to fix it. But the lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional attitude made this a really frustrating experience. I literally cried for hours straight after coming home with pink hair, and then to be told it was my fault and to not be offered a discount/ partial refund is CRAZY. Ashley was my stylist and she absolutely nailed the look I asked for! I showed her a pic and described what I was looking for and she listened attentively and understood what I was asking for. She took her time and asked questions along the way which is what I like. Shows she is interested in getting you the look you want. Overall experience was great! Salon was clean and price was very reasonable considering what you get; including a shampoo and rinse at the end followed by styling. You have only heard of it in some instances and to find one is rare. I find that in Jessica Conley. She is a truly a hair artist. I repeat I will follow this girl anywhere so off to Billerica I go!
