Unprofessional and rude staff. The craftsmanship is not impressive. I was charged $500 just for highlights and they turned out awful. They did not fix the band in my hair but charged me for "color correct" without telling me they would do that. And they charged every hour I was there as a "color correct" on top of the highlight charge! PLUS the extra bowls of bleach. The total was obscene for very mid level work. I have been to luxury hair salons that do a WAY better job and charge hundreds less than this. Avoid at all costs. read more

Kaylee Fone is an outstanding stylist in every way: excellent skills, poised and professional. I have a think mop of curly hair that has challenged more than a few stylists. Kaylee is now my go-to for blowouts!! She has the ability to make you feel like you're her only client that day and makes sure you feel like a movie star when you walk out the door. They do not possess the skill set to achieve latest trends. I'm shocked that they charge as much as they do. I do not recommend!! I had to come back for them to fix my hair, and while in the chair explaining to them how it was not what I wanted...they seemed confused. They still didn't achieve what I wanted. I highly recommend Heather! She did such an amazing job on my hair. I couldn't be any happier. I went from Blond to darker hair with darker highlights. She finds out what needs to be done and give an excellent consultation. She also did an amazing job on my hair piece from Lauren Ashtyn. First visit to Ease this week. Lovely decor and facilities. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the haircut I received from Amanda was very disappointing. I tried to be clear about what I wanted (classy angled bob) and even showed her pictures, but ended up getting exactly the cut I didn't want (old school stacked bob, and poorly executed). I'm going have to wait months for it to grow out to the point where it's fixable. Sadly I can't wear a hat for three months straight. Advice: if you can't do what your client asks because the length isn't there, just tell them to come back in a month or two. It's a much better option than losing a new client forever. Also, when a client asks what you mean by stacked, and what's the difference between stacked, inverted, graduated, etc, take the time to explain. It will save you both from making a huge mistake. read more

First haircut. Perfect. With Shannon. Second haircut with Amanda, ok. Nothing special, not worth the price but ok. Third haircut with Amanda again, receptionist hangs out chatting with Amanda about boyfriend BS while my hair is getting cut. A. I don't care. B. How is this professional? C. Receptionist has some odd relationship with herself in mirror. SO STRANGE. And my haircut was f'ed up. Best part? "I'm not going to blow dry you. Your hair can dry naturally". Wow. And I'm paying for a blow dry. Never again. Added bonus: They talk about you when you're not there and give your phone number out to others. Not advertisers, other people. Yeah. Super classy. Had a formal event on Saturday evening so I booked 3:30pm appointment (a week ahead!!) just to wash+trim+blow my hair. I told the whatsapp assistant that I had to leave at 5:30 pm and she recommended that time slot. Waited for one and a half hour and a lot of patience to finally get my hair washed. And another half an hour to have someone blowing my hair. No compensation for my time. The receptionist was no use in arranging the staff. I left the salon at 6:15pm extremely unhappy with their service. Understand that it is peak hour but if you cannot handle all the reservation please just put customers on the waiting list. Or AT LEAST PRIORITISE WHO MADE A RESERVATION AND CAME IN TIME!!! Don't bother to come if you don't have a whole afternoon to waste. Plus, for the price I pay, I am not nearly satisfied with the quality of haircut, not to mention the low efficiency. read more

I had an appointment recently with Erin, and it was fantastic. I'm super picky about my hair and have tried a few different salons in the area having moved up to the North Shore about 2 years ago. Ease is awesome! It has a parking lot (which is a plus in my book), everyone is always super friendly, the stylists are very knowledgeable, and they use MorroccanOil products (my fav!). Also for your first appointment, you get 20% off. This is not the cheapest salon I've ever been too, but the prices are definitely reasonable for the area. I easily paid $25+ more at GreenTangerine for the same damn cut/wash, with less awesome products (seriously, love MorroccanOil.) Erin didn't push products on me, which I like. She had great ideas as to what she wanted to do for my hair type/face shape, and I could not have been happier with the cut. I'm so pleased to have found a salon I really like. It's not easy! Heather Marie has been doing my hair for over 6 years now. No one does a better foil! Anyone who is blonde knows it's a serious struggle to be able to achieve that perfect color. Not only does Heather do this every time but she always makes sure my hair remains healthy. I recently had my first Brazilian Blowout with her and it was AMAZING. My hair feels like virgin hair again and is able to dry smooth and straight. What a game changer - especially for the summer. Heather is so sweet, talented, and personable! I've been seeing Shannon for years and would follow her anywhere! I've always told her there are stylists who are just born with an innate talent for this type of work and she's one of those people. She can look at you, look at your skin color, and know exactly what style cut and color would look good on you. There have been times that I have had no clue what to do and will leave my entire look in her hands. I get a lot of compliments on my hair, to the point where people stop and ask me "who does your hair and what's her number"? I trust her wholeheartedly and because of that, even though I've not had my hair done by Ericka, I would trust in Shannon's judgement simply for selecting her as a partner! We live on Hanscom AFB and have been here almost 3 years. I have turned to the base Facebook of Hanscom Wives many times requesting a referral to a good stylist. There have been many recommendations...many of which I have been to. I have been to Organix 3 times and though the work was decent, they raised the price of the same service 2 out of 3 times...not happy. I have been to Green Tangerine...uneven cut and bleachy streaks that didn't seem natural (something I could do myself with color and developer from Sally's). I have gone to Pyara 2 times...each time cost me $250 for cut/highlights/low lights and a short, chair seated neck massage. HMMM leaves something to be desired. I had gone to Anthony David salon a few times and saw one of the women stylists...it wasn't bad, just not impressed...and I got tired of one of the other female stylists constantly flirting with my 13 year old son (he felt it was awkward too). I had been to Crimson's one time and saw the Asian woman there who took my occasional natural dirty blonde and dyed it dark brown underneath...which I didn't ask for. So, one of the recommendations was for 2 women who just started their own salon...EASE Hair Studio in Burlington. Being skeptical of any referral and the price of hair services here compared to other locations across the US, I was rightfully hesitant. But I was surprised. Nice shop inside, very spacious and very nice decor. The women were very friendly. I initially saw Aarika, one of the owners. She did a good job but there were a few highlights that didn't go all the way to the root....here is where the boasting begins.... I called and was apologized to over and over again and Shannon, the other owner, asked if I could come back in and she would fix it. She fixed some of the highlights, added some new low lights, and put on a glaze for free. I absolutely love my new color...it looks so natural and warm! They are a new salon so they offer a new client discount of 20% off service and any products bought. After that she said they give a 10% military discount! Amazing! So happy I found Shannon at Ease. I have lived here for almost 3 years and this is the first time I have been super happy with my color!!! Thank you, whoever referred Ease salon!!! I made an appointment with Michell and got there right on time since I needed to leave exactly after two hours. Michell didn't even come to tell me she was running late until I had waited there for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting and wondering what's going on she came by and told me she needed at least another 10 minutes. I was extremely disappointed and told her I couldn't wait 30 minutes. She then told me she didn't even know I was on her list. I left and I won't be going back there again. read more
