I was able to get a walk-in for shellac on a Friday morning, which felt miraculous. They sat me as soon as I selected my colours and Kelly got me set up to go. Despite what some reviews here say, I was very happy with Kelly and her work! She and I chit chatted a little, and she did beautiful job on my nails. She shaped them perfectly, and the colour application was flawless. And I was done in an hour, with time to scoot back to work. Thanks Kelly for your lovely work! Absolute worst service and zero hygiene…read more Review: I went in for a nail treatment and left feeling completely insulted. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had. 1. Disgusting Hygiene: The technician shook out a dirty towel right in front of me and used that same towel--covered in nail dust--to wipe my hands with just a bit of water. It was incredibly unsanitary. 2. Rude Service: There was no verbal communication at all. No "left hand" or "right hand" please. She just grabbed and pulled my hands around with body language, treating me like I was a pet. 3. Poor Quality: If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on paying customers. The skill level is just as bad as the attitude. My nails are ruined, and my mood is even worse. A total waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

I always book my appointments in advance, so I really value consistency and communication. At my most recent appointment, I got a call about an hour before letting me know the stylist I had booked with was unavailable because of a family emergency. I completely understand that emergencies happen, but this has happened to me more than a few times over the years, and it was not always a family emergency. I still went in. They were able to do my all-over color and trim my bangs, but I left feeling really disappointed. My hair was left wet, and my bangs weren't styled until I asked. For a service that cost $250, I expected to leave looking and feeling more put together. I asked my family if it looked like I had gone to the hairdresser and they all said: not really. What made this more frustrating is that it wasn't a one-time issue. Over the years, I've also had last-minute schedule changes, been asked to switch salon locations after booking, had appointments changed to a different stylist, had a hairdryer dropped on my head and felt like I didn't just drop $200+ on a service. There have been multiple times where the service just didn't feel consistent with the price. I do want to say that not everyone here has given me a bad experience. Crystal has always been reliable, consistent, and very good at what she does. Diana, the esthetician, is also excellent. I'm leaving this review because I think consistency and client experience really matter. I kept hoping things would improve, but after several similar experiences, I felt it was fair to be honest.

During the service, I observed repeated double-dipping of the applicator stick, which is unsanitary and can increase the risk of spreading infections or disease between clients. The waxing room itself appeared dusty and unclean. Additionally, the curtain was left partially open during the appointment, showing a lack of regard for client privacy. She is also great with responding promptly & about checking in to adjusting the frequency of appointments depending on where things are at with your hair growth as opposed to pushing a set schedule that may be less effective & lead to needing more sessions. I just finished the last of my sessions this week & am super happy with the results.
