Canada doing my hair
Anna D.

I love this place! The atmosphere is great and friendly and Canada (the girl who colors my hair) does such a great job. I am so commited to going to this place you will not find me else where.

My wedding day at Salon Marchessa! These ladies are amazing!

I booked a haircut and style with Tyler last minute for a work party and he was wonderful! The…read moresalon is small and cute and shares a parking lot with Honeybaked. Tyler was friendly and easy to talk to and I explained I had a work event that night and I was hoping he could style it so it would last for that. He sprayed every curl thoroughly and the curls held all night. I have been to several other salons over the years and was honestly shocked the whole thing was only $55. In this economy???? It was a steal and Tyler was lovely. Definitely will go back.

Because…read morethis is a spot that many hairdressers utilize independently, there is no central booking option. Not Vagaro, not on the website, and not by phone. I sent an email and also called. I was able to get a receptionist on the phone but because she was new was unable to assist. I was directed to contact the individual hairdressers via Instagram. This required me to follow their page before I could message them. Really, really inefficient. In the meantime, I was able to locate another salon and hairdresser via Vagaro and book an appointment. These professionals may be great, but having an easy way to book will get more clients. In this day and age, the instantaneous booking is the bar and this place doesn't meet it. It is a hurdle/challenge to just get an appointment. I am sure these people are nice and are probably good at what they do.

I can't recommend Atousa enough. I'm naturally a dark blonde and hadn't touched my hair in over a…read moreyear, so I was a little nervous going in. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted, but also added her own expert touch and I'm so glad she did. Her technique is incredible, especially w/ blondes. She knows exactly how to create dimension & brings everything to life without it looking overdone. My hair looks fresh, natural, & so well blended. You can tell she truly understands color & has a real gift for it. I'll definitely be going back to her! Also everyone in this salon is super sweet.

I had a lengthy consultation where we reviewed multiple inspiration photos and discussed adding…read moredepth and dimension while maintaining a dimensional bronde look with lighter ends. My hair had become brassy and I just wanted to add low lights and some dimension. I showed many, many photos to make it clear what I wanted. Unfortunately, the final result was drastically different from what I requested. Much of the interior and underside of my hair was colored a very dark brunette tone, creating a flat, heavy appearance rather than the dimensional look shown in the photos we reviewed. The ends of my hair look completely black, nothing like the photos I showed. The issue wasn't that my hair became darker overall. I expected more depth and lowlights. The issue was that much of the brightness and dimension was lost, particularly underneath, leaving large sections of the hair looking like one solid dark color. To Cynthia's credit, she did offer to adjust the color by adding highlights and ultimately provided a full refund when I explained that I was no longer comfortable proceeding with additional processing since my first request was so misunderstood and poorly executed. While I appreciate her efforts to make things right afterward, the final result did not reflect the look we spent significant time discussing beforehand. I'm honestly still devastated.

Let me start by saying that I've been a loyal client of Sovanara's for 4+ years, and she is hands…read moredown one of the best hairstylists I've ever had the pleasure of going to. Over the years, she has taken my hair through quite the journey, from getting me all the way blonde to eventually bringing me back to my natural brown. Through every change, she has always taken the time to understand what I want and make sure I feel confident and happy with the results. Today, I booked with her once again, but this time I only wanted a haircut because I'm trying to embrace my virgin, natural hair. She did such an amazing job achieving exactly the look I was hoping for! My hair feels lighter, bouncier, healthier, and so much more refreshed, and I absolutely love how pretty it looks. One of the things I appreciate most about Sovanara is how genuinely she connects with her clients. She really cares about how you feel when you leave her chair, not just about how the final result looks. Throughout my haircut, she consistently checked in with me, asked for my input, and made sure I was comfortable with the length and shape before moving forward. I never felt rushed or like I had to settle for something I wasn't completely happy with. She is especially known for her blonding work, and I can personally vouch for how talented she is with color, but she is also amazing at haircuts. If you're looking for someone who is skilled, attentive, personable, and truly cares about her clients, I cannot recommend her enough. I 100% recommend Sovanara and completely vouch for her work! You can also check out more of her beautiful work on her Instagram. I'm already looking forward to booking my next appointment with her!

Extremely disorganized, defensive, and a complete waste of time!…read more I had an incredibly unprofessional experience here and strongly advise prospective clients to be cautious. The red flags began days before my actual appointment: 1. Deposit & Bookkeeping Confusion: Days prior on Mon 7/27, Karissa the stylist texted me asking about my $50 deposit and claiming other clients were waiting for the chair. I had already paid it, but she had no record or awareness of receiving it on her end. While the deposit issue was eventually resolved, it was concerning that she couldn't track her own payments. 2. Scheduling Mistakes: Today, of my appointment, while I was actively driving to the salon, Karissa, texted asking if I could come in earlier than 2:30 PM. I had to remind her that my appointment was actually scheduled for 2:00 PM, a mistake she admitted to. 3. When I arrived, the appointment lasted only a few minutes. I brought in standard reference photos as general ideas to ask for her professional opinion on what would work best for my hair. Instead of offering expert guidance, she panicked, became defensive, and claimed we "weren't on the same page." She accused me of being impossible to satisfy and refused to touch my hair entirely. She did return my $50 deposit, but turning a client away after messing up the schedule, failing to track payments, and refusing to conduct a basic consultation is unacceptable. A professional should be confident in their skills, manage their business properly, and communicate constructively. Save your time and find a stylist who actually knows how to handle a consultation. ‐---------------------------------------------- Tiffany, Thank you for the response. While I understand technical issues happen, cell service disruptions don't account for missing payment records or defensive behavior during a consultation. Communication & Scheduling: A T-Mobile outage does not explain how a recorded $50 deposit payment was forgotten, nor does it make receiving panicked texts about double-booked chairs or wrong appointment times while en route any less unprofessional. Calling these "simple accidents" minimizes the impact on the client's time and experience. The Consultation: Showing inspiration photos while explicitly stating what I don't like in them is standard practice to help guide the stylist. Rather than taking a collaborative, professional approach to educate or offer expert recommendations on grey-blending, Karissa became panicked and defensive, accusing me of being impossible to satisfy before turning me away in the chair. Refusing to conduct a proper consultation and blaming the customer when things feel overwhelming is not professional service. Returning a deposit is the absolute bare minimum, but it does not make up for the disorganization and poor treatment experienced today. Break‐-------- Tiffany, To clarify, Karissa did not hold my seat for an extended period. She requested the $50 deposit during our text exchange on Wednesday, July 22nd. While I initially mentioned paying on Friday, I submitted the payment early on Thursday, July 23rd. Framing this as a favor is inaccurate; her approach was unprofessional and demonstrated a distinct lack of confidence in her service. Furthermore, Manager Tiffany explicitly confirmed that Karissa's actions violated company policy. This clearly demonstrates that Karissa was operating unprofessionally and outside approved guidelines, making it even more unreasonable to act like she did me any favors..............
