After all the time spent there, I walked out realizing I had wasted my money. I told Missy that I wanted my hair roots down and to match the rest of my hair, covering the grey. She mixed up the color and applied it, I sat under the dryer for so long, I was wondering if she was going to return or not. After everything she did, my roots were like they were when I walked in. The cut wasn't anything spectacular. I don't plan on ever returning. The whole time I was in the chair, all I heard was about her personal life. How do you say it was odd without saying it was odd?!! I really don't have much nice to say about any of the staff. I'll definitely spend my money elsewhere. read more

I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. I spent over $150 just to get a really bad "balayage" and haircut. She didn't straighten it properly either. She over applied product to my hair and I ended up with a really greasy looking hair. She used a really cheap looking straightener that didn't help me feel any better. read more

I bought a shampoo cut and style from Groupon to this salon due to all the good reviews and high star rankings. I was so wrong picking this place. Missy was my stylists. She was on her phone more than she was attentive to me. She complained about her back hurting and now she tried to get disability, bu the state is real strict about who they give it to, that they check your social media and follow you. I am in the medical field and already knew this information. I told her I wanted a trim and she cut way more off. She was too busy answering her phone and talking on it than attending to me. This is the first time going to this place. I wished I never went. I went in for a color and cut. I asked for the same color and no more than 3 inches off. Ashley Nicole was my stylist. Brandy does an amazing job on my hair every time I go see her. She's done several cuts for me, and even done color and it always comes out exactly how I want it. She takes time to listen to what I want, and makes sure she understands before she starts doing anything. Sometimes I even tell her, "just do what you want" because I am indecisive, and I know she'll do an amazing job!! She's very friendly, she makes sure to have conversation with you the entire time, and makes sure you're comfortable. I'll definitely keep going to her for a long time. read more

Probably the prettiest interior for a salon that I've experienced yet. My hair gal was Jessica- sweet, efficient. I just needed a trim but she did a great job with that simple task. It's always a little scary to try a new salon especially when you make a big change and want to change the color of your hair. However, Brandi did a great job at highlighting my hair. She was friendly and made sure she understood what my goals were before she got started. My hair was the exact color I had wanted and my haircut was spot on. Afterwards I had an eye doctor appointment and even the optometrist complemented me about my fair. It was a great experience. This is the hair cut I got today from the owner Kendall. Had an appointment last week with Tina she was running an hour late she had someone in her chair and told me to reschedule or wait a full 1hour or possibly longer. After I'd driven 20 min to get there and waited 10 min in the front. Then drove 20 min home. After calling to complain and being told the owner would get right back with me (which she never did!) I'm told Tina will give me a free hair cut. I show up today and Tina has gone home and I'm put with Kendall. Because it was free I gave her a $20 tip. (Totally regret!) Horrible. Went on a Groupon which I guess was my first mistake . Highlights were orange instead of blonde.... when I had them fixed , my stylist couldn't even make sense of the pattern she used to apply the highlights . My hair was butchered . I had long hair ; stated I wanted to keep long and somehow that translated to cutting 4+ inches off with short layers. Mise was in a crazy hurry , except when she forgot about me under the drier ... for over an hour. Then proceeded to argue that it was 30 minutes. I was literally keeping track of time as I had to be somewhere. She squeezed in someone else's highlight while I was under the dryer . Terrible customer service . Stylist: Brandy I was going to use the Groupon for"$65 for shampoo, cut, style, and full highlights ($140 value)", but when I called the receptionist she talked me out of it and asked me to pay the stylist directly. She explained that the stylist doesn't make any money when they use Groupon. I understood that, so I cleared my schedule and took her next appointment. (Keep in mind Salon Kendall is almost an hour from my house) From the moment I sat down she was trying to tell me that the options I wanted were not covered. 1. I wanted a lighter hair color than what I had. Her response: "That is corrective coloring and it is not included in the Groupon. I normally charge over $50 an hour, so I can't do that, unless you want to pay for the extra hours". 2. "If I have to use a toner, than that's an additional $15". So let me get this straight, if the Groupon covers highlights, but you over process my hair and have to use a toner, then I am responsible? How is that fair? I thought the point of Groupon's was to solicit more business, not piss the customer off. The main purpose of my visit was to find a new stylist, because my previous hair stylist was no longer with the company. Needless to say, I told her that I felt uncomfortable with her continuously adding additional charges to every service, so I got up and left. On my way out I reminded the receptionist that she should probably inform clients that there are multiple fees that could be tacked onto your visit, at the stylist's discretion. However, my 2 other stylist at Salon Kendall were not this uncanny and rude. read more

I haven't had a hair cut in nearly 2 years and haven't been able to find a stylist that I like longer than that but she has earned a returning client for life! I recently purchased a Groupon for Salon Kendall at a wonderful price. I was able to get an appointment for prime time on a Saturday. I am almost afraid to tell you how amazing my stylist Tina was for fear she will become so highly sought after that I won't be able to get an appointment. However, I cannot let her superb skill and attention to detail go unrecognized. She went above and beyond for a first time Groupon customer. I brought a picture in for her to use as a rough guide. I just left my first hair appointment at Kendall Salon and I couldn't have asked for a better stylist. I had a full highlight, cut and style with the owner, Kendall. She did an outstanding job on my hair, and fixed several mistakes the previous salon made. She was extremely knowledgeable and meticulous. My highlights look very natural and the cut looks amazing. The customer service in the waiting area was just as exceptional, and I only had to wait a minute or two minute to be seen. I will definitely be a returning client and recommend this salon to others. I'm not sure what Kristi G. was on when she left that post, but a haircut that uneven is easily seen before you leave the salon unless it is adjusted that way specifically to leave a bad review to vent about your long drive and having to reschedule. Went to do balayage with Jacke and was very disappointed with the result. I wanted lighter color on my dark hair, what I get was a bit lighter. No one even noticed the change. The price is ridiculous and no visible result, and was told to do another session will cost another $ $ 160. Waste of time, money and hair damage. I don't recommend her for balayage. read more
