She then proceeded to tell me about her personal problem which I did not need to know. I'm not interested in hearing a rant. Later on she made a phone call in the middle of cutting my hair and it was also another not so pleasant conversation. It was not an emergency call so it could have waited. Her cutting techniques were also harsh. Literally pulling on my hair as she cuts the layer and hurting my scalp. I knew this wasn't going to be good when I first sat down in her chair and she started asking me questions because she doesn't believe my hair is naturally straight. She said people say that all the time. Okay? Is that your concern if my hair is naturally straight or not? And yes, my hair is this straight. I did not like the way she spoke to me. It came off as unprofessional and also with an attitude. I showed her what I wanted and she was being argumentative at everything. I'm open to suggestions since this isn't my area of expertise but hair stylists should still respect what clients want.
