Went in for a "partial" foil which was made very clear. Owner's sister completely over processed my hair that it was white when she was finished foiling. Owner stepped in and covered it with low-lights to try and rectify the huge f-k up. Now my hair is so over processed it's like a sponge when I wash it. Ruined my hair it will take months and months to be healthy again. Think twice about going there. Thank you Salon Forza for ruining my healthy hair. And then overcharging me for it. read more

This place has a talented staff, in particular Rosie. She is consistent and skilled. The others, I'm not familiar with. However, they are expensive....they want your money. Badly. They tell you to "indulge" yourself...but it's going to cost you. They've even added a 4 percent surcharge to your bill without justification, just hoping you won't see or pay attention to it. They call it the "Indulge Yourself" tax. We are already paying hundreds for a haircut and you want to add a 4 percent surcharge? How greedy can you get?? They are based in Andover so people are hemorrhaging money there so they probably won't care, but it's just shady business. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

Got a pedicure here, the salon itself is very nice. The person who did my pedicure was nice and very gentle. Unfortunately, there's no disposable liner for the pedicure tub. And my toes looked messy afterwards. Cuticles and surrounding skin did not look crispy. One nail chipped the next day and my pedicures usually last over a month. read more

When you walk in the door you are always greeted like family, offered something to drink and then when you sit down, you're given a "moment of wellness" - a wonderful mini massage with aromatherapy. The staff is warm and knowledgeable, and they know me by name. In addition to being incredibly talented, Rosie, who I see, has the ability to always make me feel better by the time I leave than when I walked in. She brought me to a private room to do my hair while I was undergoing treatment for cancer, and gave me spray to cover the thinning areas. This group of wonderful people look out for their clients in every way possible. Not just their hair. But... you will get an incredible cut and/or color - whatever you went in for. While I understand that there is a 50% last minute cancellation charge, I was hoping they would waive the charges because my 2 year old fell sick. When we paid they said the owner will call us back to discuss a partial refund. Also they messed up my hair extensions and then redid them. They messed up the brides hair and had to redo that as well. We missed half the event because of them as they made us late. The owner never called us. Rude staff and overall nothing special in terms of hair stylist quality. They ran late and still charged me an insane amount for a mediocre hairdo. I recommend going to any other salon in the area--there are so many run by staff that are kinder and more respectful of your time. I'd also like to add THEY DO NOT WEAR MASKS HERE. Nothing special. The staff are friendly and try to butter you up so that you do not notice how mediocre the stylist skills are: I received 3 super short massages before my haircut. My stylist then cut my hair in 2 minutes - I have very long hair and they were not cut in layers like professional stylists do. She just cut them to the desired length in one go. Then a quick blow out. Nothing I could not do myself home. And no product to make the blow out hold through the day, so by the time I got home my hair looked like it dried on its own. And of course there is a high price for all of this "fancy" service. read more

I've been coming to Salon Forza for 2 years now. The stylists seem to be uniformly excellent. Rachel Brunette is my usual stylist--she's talented as well as being super-easy to talk to and relatable. Rachel's always able to match the color I'm hoping for, with the actual color that she uses in my hair. When I told her I wanted to try something different, but I wasn't sure exactly what, I liked the color that she chose. Because of my work/family schedule I sometimes have to come on a day/time when Rachel wasn't available, so I've also received color & cuts from Kate, Orquedia, Ally, & Emily-Ann and they all were excellent!!! Great customer service. My only complaint is not being able to leave a tip with my credit card, but that's not too big a deal. read more
