It felt like she was upset with me from the beginning and the more I opened my mouth the more upset she became. She was extremely rude and rough with me, when I asked about her commission she'd earn for the service, out of curiosity but also because I worked in a dog grooming salon before and understand the grind/want to support other salon workers by tipping well. She told me she was uncomfortable answering which I apologized for making her uncomfortable and remained silent. But after that she would roughly pull my hair and demand what I wanted in a very curt manner. I asked for her advice for an alternative when she told me the hairstyle I wanted wouldn't suit me, but instead of offering one she just kept asking me to tell her what I wanted very angrily. I normally am not talkative as I am very shy and anxious, but I wanted to get out of my shell and practice my English and my social skills, and was very upset with the reaction I was met with. It was not my intention to insult or offend the stylist, but I don't believe that was a mature or professional way to respond to an innocent question, which i apologized for asking. There was no need to be rough with me. I still paid the full price of $85 despite leaving looking like a mess and without the hairstyle I wanted and specifically went to this stylist to receive, only got my hair washed and a trim on my edges. I was going to let it go as the stylist told me she'd just started a couple weeks ago and I understand everyone has hard days, but the salon made an instagram post the day after about "being besties with your stylist is the best" and prioritizing making a safe space for clients. it upsets me seeing posts like this when I had to go to the salon across the street due to how antagonistic Liz was. I just wanted a hush cut dawg go across the street or avoid booking with @cozarthair on ig. Big shame because she's clearly very talented.

I drove about 56 minutes to this location with an idea of how I wanted to have my hair done and specific colors, tones and things I was adamant I did not want. When I get there, I try to call to let them know I will be about 5 minutes late to my appointment. Because of the parking situation, though they were somewhat vague about the complexity of it, there is no way to get in contact with them drectly, it's just prompts on prompts on prompts from an AI machine that really gets you nowhere. After arriving at 4:50pm for my 4:45pm appointment, I was not seen until 520. There are only two people working at this location. When I was finally spoken to, I provided the young lady a clear understanding of what my vision for my hair and goals where. We had a very deep consultation about what I absolutely did not want to happen and what my goal was to achieve in my hair.I literally showed her the names of the 3 colors I researches online before comingin. What came next was just a very aggressive product push and upsell, that was borderline delinquent. I was told that in order for her to do the color that I wanted I had to add the hair protection product $40 and a extra color lifter $30 that was the only way she could achive the result, and then she T O L D me did not *ask* that the membership she was gonna add to card, cause it made sense to achieve the color that I wanted. After me telling her that I wanted to see the results before committing to a membership Her tone was very dismissive, and she kept telling me that although I use the name brand product that I mentioned to her at home that I did not do not know what I was doing and that I had to do this in order to get the color that I want. I think the reason that they do not have mirrors in front of the workstations is so that you do not see the chaos that is happening with your hair. The final results was the same color that I had on. My hair was just a little glossier, and my roots covered. I voiced my dismay on the waste of time, effort and money and was basically told Well, I told you, you're not gonna get what you want unless you buy the membership and come in every 4 to 6 weeks. To add insult to injury, the young lady that was blow drying my hair kept burning it because the blowdryer was malfunctioning at 1 point I got stuck in the middle of my head. She had to remove the back piece in order to free my hair after me telling her that I was in pain and that it hurt when she asked the 3 times she finally switched Blow dryers, but the damage was already done, I have a small bald spot where she yanked my hair when removing the piece from the blowdryer off. I told her specifically various times during the conversation that I did not like volume in my hair. I wanted it as flat as possible. I left there looking like a brocolis head. The cherry, on the top of all of this was, there was no air conditioner, when it was ninety four degrees outside. I beg you stay away from this location. This is an absolute scam.I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to get their hair done here BELOW THE RESPONSE FROM LAUREN WHOM I BELIEVE, HAS IT SET UP SO THAT YOU CANNOT REPLY TO HER EMAILS. SO THAT AT LEAST SHE SAYS SHE ATTEMPTED TO REACH OUT TO SOMEBODY. I EVEN LEFT HER A MESSAGE THROUGH THE CONTACT CENTER CAUSE YOU CAN NEVER GET THROUGH THEIR AI SYSTEM CALLED MADDIE.
