Lisa is probably one of the most unprofessional managers I've ever met in my entire life!!! so I've been coming to the salon for the last four years. Travis usually does my hair and he does amazing work. Never had any complaints about him. But when I had booked my next appointment, I booked with somebody new at the salon. She was the sweetest person ever, but her work was just something that I wasn't happy with. So I got in contact with the manager LISA to see what they can do about the problem, but the way that she handled things were so unprofessional. It literally made me cry. The first comment she had said to me was" can you stop calling the front desk and just email me" .. mind you I would not have to call the front desk if you she was replying to me at a normal timeframe.. secondly, she calls me and tells me that she has availability on Thursday to fix the issue. I get a call Thursday morning 30 minutes prior to my appointment. She tells me that the person that assigned to me her son got sick, Understandable since I'm a mother and I know how things go sometimes so I was not upset. I understood.. She told me that if I can come back at 2 PM and do it then and I told her I said I'm sorry but if you gave me a longer timeframe to be able to adjust this, I would have been able to, but because it's 30 minutes prior to my appointment I'm not make it at two & mind you I was already parked out front because I show up to every appointment a little early. I had told her that I was already outside, and she had questioned me and said " well why are you outside if your appointment is not for another 30 minutes?" In the most rudest tone ever. Mind you why is she questioning me about being early to my appointment if I want to be an hour early I'm going to be an hour early if I want to be 30 minutes early why are you questioning me? Anyways, so I walk into the salon. She comes up to me while I'm sitting in the chair and she walks up with a smirk on her face and was basically telling me that I was lying about what she had said to me. What do I get out of lying about what she had said honestly. I've spent a good amount of money at this salon , I should not been treated the way I was treated. And even if I was a first-time customer or returning customer, nobody should be treated the way that! LISA made me so uncomfortable while I was at the salon. In my opinion, LISA should be trained a little better because the way she treats people is not OK! She's a little too grown to act like a straight bratty child. read more

I have been coming to salon drew for myself and my two daughters since it opened at LBX. I love that they can usually accommodate 3 of us at the same time. When my girls were younger, they could hang out and color at the table in back. Now they can walk over to Ulta and shop if they have to wait. You can have a coffee or soda or beer while you get your cut too! Since I don't come that often (every 6-9 months...I'm lazy), I typically just take whatever stylist is available. I have been going to Nicole now for over a year, and she is 100% my go to! I even moved out of Long Beach (40 min away) and I still continue to go to her. Every time I want to make a change and don't know exactly what to get, I bounce my ideas off of Nicole and she immediately gets me. She is extremely patient, caring, and helpful. I literally trust her with my life and highly recommend her! Also, just a general review for the salon - everyone is great. Recently I had to switch to a new stylist, Travis and he does an incredible job. She's both cool And chatty with me (doesn't make me feel old and boring ) and sweet and encouraging with my son (he's 7, and she made time to hear all of his big ideas for his hair directing her questions and explanations to him, not me ). But aside from making us feel at ease in her chair, she does an incredible job with our hair. This was my first visit to the salon and it did not disappoint. I loved the vibe when I walked in- was greeted immediately and offered something to drink. Shout out to my stylist Hailey - I wanted to go shorter for a chin length type bob. She clarified to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted - I am pretty particular about my bangs and then it was off to get shampooed. This might be one of my favorite parts: shampoo and conditioner smelled great and Hailey took her time massaging my scalp - I almost wanted to take a nap! Then it was on to the actual cut - Hailey made sure the length was even ( especially important with a bob). During this time I even got to meet the owner Michelle - very friendly and kind. Travis was incredible. Not only in quality of my haircut but in quality of service. I was running 15 minutes late OR MORE because of a bad traffic stretch. I felt horrible and needed this haircut for an event that night. I was told I might have to choose between a blowout or just a cut with no blow dry as there was a client scheduled after my allotted appointment time. I said it was okay and I think I'd rather have a blowout since I had to go somewhere that night. BUT Travis VERY VERY kindly moved an appointment up so I could not only get my haircut, but not have to miss out on the blowout/ styling portion at the end as well. Salon Drew - Shayna Garcia is AMAZING! I followed my go-to hairstylist Shayna Garcia to Salon Drew, and I couldn't be happier! First off, the salon itself is fantastic - spacious, classy, clean, and they even serve a mean espresso while you're getting pampered. I'm so excited that I was able to get my Ameka treatment here! Getting my standard hair smoothing treatment done by Shayna was incredible - as always (to me it's like a gentler version of a keratin or Brazilian blowout, and the results are amazing - my hair is always soft, smooth, and beautiful). The treatment lasts about five to six weeks, and I'm thrilled I can continue getting it here. And can we talk about Shayna's bang expertise? This is the first hair salon that has asked me questions about my curly hair and recommended cuts and highlight thickness that would suit my hair! This salon is located right next to the LBC Hangar, which is conveniently located right next to my work. The interior is well kept--organized, clean and inviting.
