Uneven acrylic laid and horrendous design

Pictures speak for themselves. This was at the beginning of the year and have had nail growth issues since. If you would like long nails, coffin shaped, (what I asked for) or you would like ANY designs, even as simple as a heart, DO NOT GO HERE. I left balling my eyes out and was so disappointed. I paid $65 for the length, design and set.

I really wanted to like this place since it close to my neighborhood and I know these ladies work hard. The customer service is poor, and they don't seem interested in doing the extra to make you feel like this is a spa environment unless you get the pedicure, which was nice. My nails were ruined twice also. They were not interested in trying to understand what I was asking for and if you tried to clarify anything, they seemed irritated, as if I am going to be a difficult customer. I think communication is key. And how about heating up the water for the nail soak, or offering a bottle of water. Nope. I tried it because my son bought me a gift certificate. they told they'd also give me a discount, which is available for new customers and I didn't get that either. read more

I was so excited to try this nail salon close to my house especially since the reviews were so good. Everyone was very friendly to me (including the owner), but unfortunately I left with nails that am embarrassed of. The nails are very thick and look super unnatural, but worst of all my natural nails are visible from the side of the fake nail. In addition to this, 3 of my fingers and 2 of my toes were cut and bled during the service. The lady who did my nails was very nice, but told me she was having trouble because my nails are shaped weird. Hm. I've been getting my nails done for years at other places and never had any issues. It's only the second day and one of my nails are lifting already. It seems like they were placed on top of the cuticle so I expect that the others will start lifting soon. At the place I visit regularly, I pay around $40 for a full set and pedi but here I paid over $75 (after tip). I'm sad to write this review because of how nice everyone was, but in the future I am not willing to pay this price for nails that I am so unhappy with. read more

It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. I was in & out in less than 20mins. Highly recommend, especially for avid waxers. ENTER FREELY, they've been Approved:)

In terms of having to wax, it was a little tough going through all the Yelp suggestions of wax spots in the area considering Texas/Houston is HUGE. Thankfully, I found myself coming to this place. What drew me in was the first time wax promo they had if I'm being honest. However, I was very happy with my experience. I forget the name of the girl who did my Brazilian (Asia?), but she made the entire experience comfortable and she even helped share some Houston tips for a newbie like me. It wasn't painful nor unpleasant under her hands but rather quick and easy. I really appreciated friendly faces and conversations in this new environment!

My first visit here was quick in and out because I was in a rush and it was the closes Nail salon to me, HOWEVER, they still managed to do a great job so I decided to try them out again. I did both a full-set shellac and pedicure. Nail tech Katie is AMAZING! Highly recommend her. Not only was the staff attentive and was great in servicing me, they also were attentive to my 4 year old son that tagged along. Salon De Nails is most definitely going to be my new nail salon. I have been searching for a salon for so long to make me feel welcomed and Salon De Nails is the place! read more

I'm headed to California this weekend for the Christmas break and I decided to get my nails done, so it'll be nice for the trip. I didn't know where to go, because many places I've been to messed up my nails. So a friend recommended Salon de nails... so I decided to go! Let me just say... BEST DECISION EVER!!! For long time from i have been moving to Cypress , today i have change come back Pecon Grove to visit my friend also stop by Salon De nails with my friend i feeling total different on five years ago . I've been going to Salon De Nails and their other location, Nail Infinity, for 8 years. Linh does a great job on my nails, whether I'm getting acrylic or Gel polish. The pedicures are great as well and so relaxing. I always make an appointment and they have my chair ready for me. Great customer service and a high quality manicure and pedicure!! read more

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. This was the cleanest nail salon I've been to since I've lived in Texas. Lin (owner) was very socialable. I wish that Mindy would have done my fill in closer to the cuticle, but they look great. A little on the pricy side, if you ask me. But they are all very welcoming and seem sincere when talking to you. read more

My daughter and I have been going to Salon De Nails for about 3 years and have had very few bad memories. Our nail technicians are awesome and work very hard to please us. We would have no trouble at all recommending this nail salon to anyone. We are really happy going there for our nails, eyebrows and massage! read more

Such a wonderful experience!! As always!!! A perfect pedicure for my poor tired feet with a great massage too. Add to that a neck and shoulder massage and I was in heaven. And Linh's manicure is so good that strangers ask me where I get my nails done. Thank you again ladies! read more

I had such a good time. I went in for a pedicure and full set. Pedicure was awesome she did her job very well. Took her time with precision. My fullset as well, she took her time and asked if I liked it. Vibe was great. They have great customer service. I love my nails. read more
