I had an elopement wedding and needed hair and make up services, I feel so blessed to have found Salon D Renee!!! I spoke with Ashley B.(the owner) over the phone and she suggested a consultation. She's super sweet and polite, I discussed my concerns and "inspiration looks" for my intimate wedding. She went out of her way, opening the salon earlier than the regular schedule just for me! Needless to say, she's a excellent professional, concern about my vision of the hair and very caring. Also, Daye, has all the make up skills! She was very patiend and a true talented makeup artist. My hair and makeup were everything I hoped and more! I couldn't have been happier with the service and personal treatment I got from this two angels on my wedding day!! I received so many compliments and felt so BEAUTIFUL!! You girls rock!! read more

I noticed that Salon D Renee had a yelp coupon for $50 off of $150 services as well as a good rating. Unfortunately, I could not get the Yelp coupon due to a Yelp technical error. The women working where very nice the moment I walked into the salon. They greeted me with a smile, offered me water or a glass of wine and told me they would be with me shortly. I had already decided to get there. TLC conditioning treatment for severely damaged hair. After speaking with Virginia, she advised my hair was not as bad office. I thought it was and suggested an alternative treatment as well as agreed to dye my regrowth even though I hadn't made an appointment for that service. I was skeptical at first, because I really wanted that TLC treatment, but my results made me so happy that I listen to Virginia. (And her recommended services cost less than the ones I selected!) She definitely knows what she's talking about and she delivers on her treatments, her haircut and her style. This is my first hair salon visit in Baltimore and I struck gold. Thank you Virginia. read more

Very nice. A first timer getting my hair styled in Baltimore City. Clean salon. My stylist @hairbyAyahsanaa loves the pixie cuts. Make certain if this is not your goal style say something early. Note: mirrors are positioned away from client preview. This would have been a helpful tool. Minus a star read more

I just had an amazing experience at Salon D Renee. Ashley is extremely professional, kind, and gave me exactly what I came in for. She is such a neat and efficient stylist. I am still shocked at how quickly she got my hair done and how flat my hair is laid. The salon itself is spacious and clean. I really have no complaints. They made a new client out of me! read more

It was my first time at Salon D Renee and I will definitely be returning! I was seen today by Breya G. for a Silk Press and Trim on natural hair and she took such good care of me! She was beyond attentive to all of my needs and requests, not to mention how kind and intelligent she is at nature! My hair feels so silky and healthy so I'm very happy I booked with her. The salon environment overall is very warm and inviting and since it was a rainy day, every stylist made sure that their client left with their hair protected, wrapped, and secured. No complaints over here! read more

As it was written on their profile "walk-in welcome " but when I showed up they told me that they don't have any availability and I should give them a call in advance. They were nice about it but the point is then it's better not to write that the walk ins are welcome. read more

So this was my 2nd time here and I will have to say that I am really impressed. The professionalism here is pretty amazing. I called to book my appointment a month in advance and everyone that I talk to is so nice and patient. They will answer any questions that you have and you don't have to feel rushed. They are on time and punctual. Appointment go as scheduled. Salon is nice and clean with plenty of sunlight. Positive atmosphere and great energy while you are here. I was here today to get a weave and I was impressed. It took no longer that 2 1/2 hours. The braiding did not hurt and the threading was very comfortable and tolerable. This was overall one of the best experiences I have ever had at a hair salon. Ashley is awesome. read more

I had my first appointment with Drake and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The salon is located in Beautiful Mt. Vernon neighborhood neighborhood. Walking in to the salon, there was soft music playing and the place was very clean. Drake introduced himself to me and offered me a beverage to drink. From the start, I felt very relaxed and comfortable. We had a consultation and talked about my goals (haircare) as my hair was washed and conditioned. Drake is very personable and cheery. I felt like I was at home in the salon. I received a wash, deep condition, blowout , trim and style. It was a smooth service and I am glad to have found this wonderful salon. Best experience!!! I went in here without an appointment the morning of a wedding and my stylist worked her magic. She looked at a photo I liked for reference, then used it for inspiration but did something that fit me best. My stylist was so nice and made me feel comfortable, and her daughter entertained me with stories of Jojo Siwa. As an added bonus, the cost was so much less than expected. I wish I lived locally because I'd go back in a heartbeat. read more

Nice salon and location. I've been getting my hair done here for over a year and satisfied with the work each time!

I've been to Salon D. Renee several times over the past year and I've had great experiences every time. The owner, Ashley is friendly and takes time with each of her customers. Expect to be get in and out with her. From what I've experienced she doesn't overbook herself, each client gets their own time slot. The salon is full service. It offers hair, nail, and waxing services. I haven't gotten my nails done yet but I've seen Keontai's work in person and it's great! She's way better than your typical nail tech. She can do all of the trendy designs that you see online. I did get my eyebrows waxed and they turned out great. The location is nice. It's a corner suite with a good amount of windows. The salon is decorated nicely. It's got sleek, dark, hardwood floors and is decorated with modern furniture. The bathroom is well kept also. My advice would be to arrive a little early if you're driving bc sometimes parking can be a challenge. If you take the metro you're in luck bc the salon is right in front of a link stop. I love this place. I'm glad I found it read more

Out-of-town visitor gets absolutely fabulous cut and style. I may have to return to Baltimore every eight weeks for a touch-up at my new, favorite salon. Ashley started me with a deep conditioning, my hair has never felt so luxurious. Even the wild gray hairs were taned. Then my stylist, Daye, really listened to me and did a great job layering my very thick and sadly straight hair. To top it all off I asked for a thermal wave that looked a little bit on the messy side and Daye delivered! Glossy, bouncy, I feel like a new woman! About the salon... Excellent communication, Ashley kindly worked me in between my tourist excursions, and now I'm ready to go out on the town. read more

Drake has been my stylist here for a little over a year now and he's absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and personable; he remembers each client and always restarts each conversation exactly where we left off. Most importantly, he doesn't overbook. My average wait time is less than 5 minutes. Couldn't be happier with his professionalism. read more

Ashley is my go to for weave installation. She is quick with reasonable prices. The major bonus is that she's not the type to have clients scheduled for the same time, so I'm not in the hairdresser all day. We all know that's a beautiful thing! read more

Beautiful and peaceful salon experience. Ashley professionalism and patience is well appreciated (I can be very particular ) I made a mistake and showed up to the salon on the wrong day‍(life). My appointment wasn't until the following week but Ashley fit me in with another stylist (which I dont like trying new people) that turned out to be a good look. My hair was looking good In no time at all. I am so thankful and pleased with the service, kindness and professionalism of this salon and the staff. I have found and will refer anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional hair salon and stylist that specializes in healthy hair care to give this salon a try. Trust me... you will Love it. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Salon D Renee. All in all, it was just a quick cut, but the professional and friendly vibe of the place will make me a repeat customer. Tbh, I'm a hair procrastinator. I love my hair, but I procrastinate on doing some of the things it needs, like regular cutting. And I'm also always worried about going to a tech who doesn't know natural hair. So I procrastinated for a ridiculously long time, until I found SDR on StyleSeat. Bonus that it'son Yelp, because, I like to get as many prior reviews as possible before going somewhere. So when I walked in, the place smelled and looked great, and it was warm and the staff inviting. It was like...a Wednesday at noon or something, so no one was there. Ashley was able to jump right up and get my cut started. She informed me that there was a coat rack in the back, which isn't a BIG deal, but as it's getting cold around here, I appreciated that I didn't have to hold it in my lap the whole time. Little details help make a great experience overall. Since I was on my lunch break, Ashley got me in and out pretty fast. She had a great eye for seeing my damaged ends and cut me all straightened up. The difference in length doesn't even compare to the difference in overall health. I am very satisfied with the quality of service. Oh, sidenote. As soon as I sat in the chair, the cutest dog hopped up in my lap and took a little nap. It was adorable, especially because I often miss my dog when I'm at work. He even walked me to the door, when I left :) read more

I brought my daughter here which was both our 1st times coming and the atmosphere was nice and calm and clean. The receptionist was pleasant. Parking wasn't hard but it's downtown so of course I had to pay the meter. They offer natural products which was good because my daughter is young and I don't want a lot of harsh chemicals in her hair. They do offer wine..YaY!! Too bad I didn't have any. The shampoo tech was gentle with my daughter of course I can't remember her name I'm not good with names. Ashley did clip my daughter ends which she needed and I didn't have to cry because she didn't get scissor happy like some stylist. read more

The first salon that I look forward to my appointments! I pass Salon D Renee everyday during my commute from work. I said to myself for a couple months that I was going to schedule an appointment but due to my prior experiences with hair salons (wait times, atmosphere and me just being a little particular about my hair) I was reluctant but I am so happy that I did!! My appointment with Ashley are seamless! I really feel like I am treating myself and not doing a chore! From the beginning; scheduling the appointment, to the end; paying for my services is always convenient, professional and enjoyable! Ashley has done wonders with my hair! She does a great job styling, she did an awesome job with my color correction and she definitely has growing hands! Thanks Ashley! See you soon:-))) read more

This is the SECOND TIME IN A ROW where KEONATAE HARRIS cancelled on my appointment.... First time I get a call from her 15 minutes before the appointment should've started and today the moment I walked in, the owner told me she couldn't make it in. This is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I was willing to give her another chance hence booking twice but REALLY????? TWICE IN A ROW???? Highly disappointed and honestly disgusted about the way she thinks she can treat PAYING clients like this. Smh. read more

Drake is a colorist god. I came in with my leave-out not matching my weave (terrible roots!!) and left with a beautiful platinum head! I was amazed that he was able to bleach and tone perfectly on the "first try." I've had too many colorists who have to keep bleaching and toning because the color won't come out right. When I come from NYC to visit friends in Baltimore I'm planning on also visiting Drake to take care of my hair! read more

Ashley and her girls are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I am new to the area and I am sooo happy with my visit. I had a relaxer and color done and I am very pleased with the outcome. The two times I scheduled appointments for nail services at this salon, the woman wasn't there to complete the service. The first time I stayed and she arrived about 15 minutes late. The second time, after waiting 20 minutes and no sign of her, I left. I won't go back. When an appointment has been scheduled well in advance, the least they can do is have someone there. read more

I love this salon! I initially went here to get soft waves. A "classic" style after having not a good experience with a previous salon. Anyways, last minute I contacted this salon after doing a google search. Ashley was willing to wait for me the evening of my birthday, but I didn't have time after all. Ashley, expressed that she would like to get home it was getting late in the evening which is understandable. I told her it's ok I'll be sure to check her out the next time. I did contact her in booked an appointment to check her out the next time in my next time becoming another in another and another LOL! PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE in her customer service is BREATHTAKING .
