Followed Yelp's reviews to try out Avalon and let me tell you I am a happy camper now. My gel manicure said it all. I was treated very nice and professional by Max. He understood my needs and expectations. I don't like places where the technician pushing to be done with a customer, nor trying to upsell you to the point where your annoyed. I found that this place is the exceptional experience from what I have been trying. The accommodate all guests, whether you're a walk-in or if you made a reservation. I wish I knew the woman's name that did my nails! She was awesome. She was very serious and got down to business as soon as I walked in. I'm not usually one for small talk anyway, so I didn't mind that she was quiet. The only time she spoke was to ask about the service (what nail color, what length I wanted my nails, etc). I got a gel manicure and this was by far the best gel manicure I have gotten done professionally! She was very precise in not getting polish on my cuticles and if she did she would fix the mistake immediately. I was in the salon for about an hour. I loved that she took her time and was not trying to rush me out to get to the next customer. I would suggest going early afternoon or early evening because it does get busy around dinner time on the weekends. But, you won't be waiting for more than 15 minutes. Overall, this will be my new place I get my nails done! I made another appointment for another gel manicure, and this time I'm getting a pedicure because I saw the man that works there doing some of the customers pedicures, and it looked very relaxing and they do there best to accommodate you!

She said it depended on the area so I asked if she'd be using it on me. At which point she abruptly stopped, and said we wouldn't continue if I was going to question her technique. I left with the job half done. As if that wasn't bad enough she verbally attacked me on my way out for shaking my head. When I yelled back she threatened to call the cops.
