Walking into Mulberry Salon it is just so cozy in there. Big wooden mirrors that give a very rustic vibe, and good luck finding a sweeter gal than Amanda who greets you so kindly every time you walk in the door. (Love her). Add on top of that these top-notch stylists and it's just a recipe for success. They have a stylist for every hair type and any time I go in those girls are all in there crushing it, creating magic. (Love you margaret). The owner of the salon was even kind enough to add to my already pleasant experience, and it just makes you feel so appreciated as someone who goes in there and commits their time and money. (did I mention there's wine? May not have to be a selling point for you but it just adds to the pampering experience) All-in-all, Mulberry Salon and Spa is an amazing place to treat yourself and feel beautiful and confident. The receptionist didn't make any calls to indicate they actually tried hard to find someone else. They advertise walk-ins so this was very disappointing seeing as I had an appointment, and have a health issue that prohibits me from driving so I had to take a day off of work, work out a ride, and have an event tomorrow which is why I made my appt for that day/time. On top of that, I was not offered parking validation (which they normally do), so I ended up paying for no services provided.

I scheduled an appointment after checking the website, which says that women's haircut start at $43. When Stacy finished my trim (shampoo+ trim, NO blowout, NO product-- the appointment lasted 20 minutes total) and brought me to the front desk, the receptionist told me it will be $65 and asked what tip I wanted to add. I respectfully pushed back a bit, pointing out to her that I did not get a blowout/product and that their website states that women's cuts start at $43. The receptionist told me that there was a price change at the beginning of the year and it all depends on who your stylist is.... Im just bummed because the price change was not reflected on the website, and I did not have a choice on who my stylist was. I suppose this is a more exclusive salon, but I do hope that they fix their website to reflect their actual pricing. $78 gone. Lesson Learned.
