We were horrifically overcharged. No nail art whatsoever. Be sure you aren't asking for any nail designs. They can't do anything except plain nails. We witnessed a male employee be exceptionally cruel to a small child having both her fingers and toes done. Definitely not a place for children. Ask for an itemized receipt! Basic services aren't included with their packages, that are included with other salons. There is very little transparency. Pricing is a secret. However they demand tips in cash, with that signage being very clear, and everywhere! Our cash tips were loudly mocked, as also not being enough. It's like they are self taught from a YouTube video. I don't mind paying a lot for nails, but I do mind not knowing what I'm paying beforehand... plus no detailed receipt... You can make an appointment, but it doesn't matter... We waited 45 minutes for our reservations. It's first come first serve regardless. read more

I took myself and my 5 yr old daughter here to get our nails and toes done b4 vacation I made an appointment for 1 a week in advance when I got there I waited and it took 2 hours for them to even get to us finally got to a seat to get pedicure and waited still longer to be seen so now running on 3 hours already with a 5 yr old its time to get to our nails done now i told them just to paint my nails nothing else and paint hers and still got charged close to $200 for basically a polish change and was there 5 hours to only get on the first day of vacation and all our polish came off both of our nails, mind you we got gel polish and it still came off, they must not use real or good stuff because I've had gel on before from a different place for vacation and it last weeks definitely don't waste your time or money going here because they don't care about your time stay far away read more

I got my nails and feet done. I got powder nails and a pedicure. I spent 110$ between my nails and feet plus a 6$ tip because it looked and seemed well. Under 1 week later my nails are lifting, 2 came off, I live in the community and i'm never coming back NOR recommending anyone to go here. read more

This is my favorite place to go!! But definitely schedule an appointment, because word has got out about how fabulous they are and walk-in availability is super low. They do take walk-ins if they have enough staff on, though. They offer complementary beverages while you get pampered and they're delicious! They also now have over 200 color options for the gel dip powder manicure. They are high quality without the high quality pricing!! They are incredibly affordable and they have great pricing for the tremendous service they provide! read more

After trying multiple salons in Berks county, I found this gem, and I've been going here for 3 years now. Lina does an excellent job, and is always very accommodating and ensuring her clients leave happy. What I liked the most initially was the fact that she listened to what I wanted and did the nails aaa I wanted them, rather than jUst telling me that this is what they have and I just need to pick something from the samples they have. I recommended this place to many of my friends and coworkers and they are happy as well with their results. read more

I have had so much trouble finding a great spot to get my nails done since my nail tech moved out of state over two years ago. I finally found it!!! I tried a few other salons around Berks county, but Passion 4 Nails is my favorite place to go. I have gone for dip powder a few times now and love the atmosphere, the experience, and how long my nails last! I always feel welcome, the tech's are so kind and often give me great ideas for what glitters to use, how colors look good together, etc. Definitely worth your time & money! read more

I went there once to get a manicure and gel polish. Manicurist was sloppy and didn't even clean my cuticles. I asked the owner afterwards and she said I had to ask for that. Wait, what?? Isn't cleaning the cuticles part of a manicure? Anyways, I ended up getting a French dip. It could have looked really nice if the hadn't been so thick. The nails were really thick. For $80 they weren't worth it. They didn't look natural, IMO. After my vacation, I went to have them removed. I did not have an appointment but they say they welcome walk ins. The owner said ok, 15 minutes, which was more like 45 minutes. I told her I would like them removed and a gel manicure and she said ok. I told her they were thick, she said next time come to me I won't make them thick. Shouldn't they all know how to do them properly?? She removed the nails which took another hour and then said she didn't have time to do gel and could I come back tomorrow?? I said no that I would do them myself and she charges $40 to remove the clubs from my fingers. Never again. read more

This is a long review, but I promise it will be worth the read as it is very detailed and I believe to paint a full picture of my experience. I visited Passion 4 Nails recently as part of a wedding party. It was myself, the bride, maid of honor, and the mother of the bride. We had all came in to get ready for the bride's wedding that Saturday and we all received pedicures and some form of a manicure. I personally received a gel manicure and the Deluxe Pedicure. The bride had already called ahead to make our appointments along with our specific service requests, with the exception of the specific type of pedicures we wanted. My views on this establishment were not high, almost from the beginning. When we arrived, there were four technicians and we were directed to have seats for pedicures. All of us, with the exception of the made of honor, began our pedicure services right away. She had to wait almost 10 minutes for another technician to arrive, even though there had already been 4 there and no other customers. Who I am assuming was the owner, should have been the one to star on her pedicure, but instead she walked around, answered the phone, and at some points just sat down not doing anything. My personal experience with my pedicure started off pretty good, until my technician began to work on cuticles and toes. She started to dig into one of my big toes with the cuticle cutter to the point that it hurt and told her that it did and she looked at me and said "yes", but continued to dig. I again said, this time louder "Ow, that hurts" and she just giggled. This is very unacceptable to me as my comfort seemed to mean nothing to her. Overall she was very rough the entire time and I had expressed this multiple times but she did not change. Mid way through, the maid of honor noticed that one of my pinkie toes was bleeding. We both pointed this out to my technician and again she showed no concern besides giggling and wiping it off. Again this is not acceptable. Now onto my personal experience with my gel manicure. I had gel manicures for several years, but not for a while. Regardless, I knew what I wanted both shape and length wise and provided my technician with pictures of one of my previous manicures for shape reference. I explained that I wanted my nails to all be the same length and pointed to my one finger that was the shortest. I explained I wanted them all that length. The technician responded with okays, so I thought she understood, however I was wrong to assume this. I had to tell her over 4 times about the shape and the length I wanted and she never listened. In the end my nails were all different shapes and lengths. Only two of my nails were the length and shape I wanted. The others were too long, not the right shape, and not even. In addition the tips of my nails were very rough in the end and when I asked about it I was told it was because of the glitter nail polish. She did fix this part, but only because I insisted she do so. I had to fix the shape of my nails myself after we had left. Then only 4 days after receiving the manicure they started to peel at my cuticles, and this has never happened before this quickly. Again, this was not an enjoyable experience. In addition to my personal experience there were other things occurred that I feel were not professional or acceptable. In addition to the maid-of-honor having to wait 10 minutes to start her pedicure, her technician never tested her heat tolerance to the hot stones and just put it on her skin, and it was excessively hot for her. She was not physically burned, but was uncomfortable. In addition, while receiving her pedicure her technician asked her what type of manicure she wanted and she said gel. Her technician then asked her if she wanted tips. The maid-of-honor asked about pricing and if it would still be gel and she was told yes, but with no other information provided. It was not until after she had all of her tips applied and acrylic was being applied that she found out it was not gel and she was receiving acrylic, which she was not intending to get. When she asked about this, it was then explained to her why and it was too late to change. In addition, she did not receive a full manicure being as though her technician never worked on her cuticles. As for the bride, she had requested a specific technician when she made the appointment and once there had received someone else. She basically had to beg to have the technician she had originally requested. Even one of these things happening would be unacceptable in my opinion, but all of these happening at the same time is downright ridiculous. Normally I would have complained more in the moment, but we were there for a day of no drama and relaxation and did not want to upset the bride. Regardless, I had complained as each thing happened, but it did not seem to matter. In addition, I reached out them over 4 weeks ago and not response. read more

I have been to many nail places in the past and this is by far the best I have ever been to. The staff was so friendly to my family and I! I am a nail biter and I got acrylics and the lady was super sweet and gave me tips and explained a lot about acrylics and my nails to me. My acrylics look amazing and she spent so much time making sure they were perfect and was constantly asking me if they looked how I wanted. This is for surely my new go to nail spot! read more
