I specifically asked if she got a spot (it occasionally gets missed) and before I even finished asking she interrupted and said yes. When I was done, and my knees were still open on the table (exposing me to the lobby), she opened the door yelled "done!" At me and left the room. There was still sugar stuck to me. Only a couple of my lashes curled and the others kinda look the same. During the service, I experienced clear indications of improper technique and negligent care: Excessive Heat: The applied beeswax felt excessively hot, indicating an improper temperature setting. Aggressive Removal: The removal of the wax sheet by the esthetician was noticeably aggressive and forceful. Immediate Pain & Acknowledgment: Immediately after the wax removal, I informed the esthetician, Treasure, that the areas above and between my eyebrows were extremely painful. Negligent Aftercare: I questioned whether a proper post-wax cleanser (such as rubbing alcohol) had been used. Treasure confirmed that "No" such cleanser was applied. I was only advised to use a generic ointment and Vitamin E oil. Upon returning home, the painful area above and between my eyebrows became severely red and inflamed.
