Situation: Upstairs bathtub leaked into the kitchen ceiling below, causing drywall moisture damage over time -mold. A leak, not a burst pipe. My toilet was leaking, the water from the upstairs bathtub was leaking into my kitchen below and my faucet was shaking from high water pressure so I needed a new regulator. This was a really big job and would be very costly but he charged a fair and reasonable price. The most important thing is he is honest and not trying to sell me something or overcharge me. The previous person (who belongs to a BIG plumbing company) was going to charge me double for the regulator and triple for repairing a valve on a leaky toilet---the same price for buying a brand new toilet!
