Smoke salmon jerky is amazing, Mac and cheese and chowder was the best I ever had, if I could give 10 stars for the food I would. Definitely a must try in seaside read more

We arrived at 10, door sign says open at 11, came back at 11, door sign now says open at noon. We really wanted to eat here but already lost 2 hours waiting. We came back after lunch and the owner apologized for the delay and lack of inventory. We did get to sample the salmon jerky and it was delicious. read more

By far the bestttttt place I've been to that has the best food everrrrrrrr. I would actually slap this on a strangers ass and eat it. 100/100 recommendation and the staff are so sweet!! Come check it out an absolute must try!!!!! I'm in love read more

I visit Seaside at least three times a year and Salmon River Smokehouse is always my very first stop when I get there. The smoked salmon chowder is AMAZING. Seriously. I buy some to eat when I'm there and then more to take home and reheat later. Everyone who works there is just the sweetest. And if you're visiting with a dog, they have a really nice outdoor eating area tucked away on one of the quieter downtown streets. Please just go eat here, you will NOT regret it. read more

We did the outside BBQ and ordered the brat and the Mac and cheese with smoked salmon. No high chairs available for little kids, Only picnic tables so it can be hard with little ones. The Mac and cheese was expensive for the amount of food you get, wouldn't order again. The brat was good, well cooked and had plenty of condiments to put on it. Ambiance was nice, outdoor seating and server was friendly. read more

Very nice gift shop with many made in the Northwest items. Edibles like smoked salmon, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies plus many other meal and snack items. Great place to fill a gift bag for that hard to buy for person with the help of the friendly lady behind the counter. The Marion berry scone mix was a great hit according to the people we gave it to. read more

Very friendly with a great environment and great food and drinks! Loved the smoked salmon chowder and the smoked salmon Mac n cheese. Highly recommend checking this place out! read more

BEASTED! You NEED to get the salmon chowder. It's an absolute must. Wish I had a photo honestly but just trust.

Just happened to stop here when visiting Seaside, Oregon. By happenstance we parked in front of the business twice before going in to check it out on a whim. The employee was so amazing and nice. She was offering samples of the smoked salmon (black pepper, brown sugar and sweet/spicy) and the salmon spread. It was amazing and I had the smoke salmon panini plus a Dad's old fashion root beer. There are couple of tables outside we sat at as we enjoyed the delicious food. I totally recommend this place! It's more of a small market than a restaurant with a smoker on-site, so if you're staying the area it's a great place to get some local food to go. I will be back when I'm the area in my next vacation. read more

A cute little spot to grab sandwiches and snacks before heading out to the beach. The lady warmly greeted us and we chatted while she made us our salmon lox and salmon spread sandwich. We grabbed a few other treats as well. She asked if we we're heading to the beach so she could box it up nicely for us. Great and attentive service. There aren't any seating inside, only outside. A bit pricey, but worth the deliciousness. read more

This place is awesome. The lady working the counter was so sweet. She gave us samples and gave us ideas for places to see while visiting the area. We sampled the salmon Mac n cheese, pepper Smoked salmon, salmon chowder and jalapeño salmon spread. I couldn't buy all of it so we purchased the salmon spread. I couldn't wait to get back to our resort to slather it on crackers and savor its deliciousness. So yes - I highly recommend this place. They also sell coffee and chai. It's a really cool shop with all local products. We will be back on our next visit to seaside. read more

We stopped by for some smoked salmon while visiting the coast and the owner was a lovely lady who gave us samples of everything. We ended up buying the smoked salmon spread, a smoked salmon filet and some smoked salmon chowder and enjoyed them all! Definitely worth checking out while in Seaside, if nothing else than for the friendly service and quality products! read more

Lady at the counter is sweet. Nice selection of local/semi local artisan goods. Prices on some items are a bit high. Had samples of the smoked salmon, salmon jerky (candy) and some of the cookies. Their smoked salmon is a little on the drier side and not as good as other smoked salmons. Out of the cookies, I liked the molasses and the lemon white chocolate the best. We opted for a smoked salmon and cheese pack. The salmon got juice all over the cheese, the cheese was hard to peel apart and did not have much of a smokey flavor. read more

Very yummy Salmon Soup!! Small store, limited seating but tasty food! The gluten free blueberry missing was tasty!!

The Salmon Lox Bagel was really delicious! But it is not lox, which the cashier told me before I ordered. Get it heated & cut in half. Also, the turnovers are beyond fantastic! The chocolate raspberry was heavenly! The pudding was creamy with a strong deep chocolate flavor highlighted with raspberry jammy goodness. The lemon turnover was equally delicious. Light & lemony! I also got a jar of green olives double stuffed with garlic & jalapeno. Compliments the salmon bagel perfectly and not really spicy. They have lots of high quality snack foods as well as sandwiches, cheese & of course, a variety of salmon choices. read more

Such a cute mom and pop shop, we got the salmon fillet that was so yummy and the salmon Mac and cheese for the kids. Super affordable and delicious! read more

PERFECT lunch stop at Seaside with picnic tables outside! We would totally return! SERVICE- Outstanding! We asked if our little dog could come in, and the worker made her feel SO welcome with a little treat and kind words. She was also sweet and attentive to people, too. FOOD- Oh. My. Goodness. The smoked salmon and cheese we tried were FANTASTIC! We ordered grilled cheese with smoked salmon sandwiches which were slowly toasted to perfection. There was also creamy, tangy sauce which complimented the salmon beautifully. SELECTION in STORE- There was a nice range of locally produced treats. I wanted to try some caramel corn, but saw a kernel in one of the bags (ouch) so skipped that vendor and bought a bag of English toffee. With only a few ingredients, it was simply delicious. read more

Good place to support local (OR & WA) businesses. I'd recommend take-out as there is no seating inside. Smoked salmon, spreads, bagels, scones, hand pies, crackers & lots of local other items, including earrings & chocolate truffle. Friendly, informative staff. read more

What a great addition to Seaside and just a block off the main drag of Broadway. Walked in and was greeted by a very nice and helpful lady at the counter. Place has a mix of food stuff to take and go, great souvenir kind of stuff and you can also get coffee and lunch and the the most important is they have fresh smoked salmon for a reasonable price. I feel i can't stop at the coast and not grabbed some smoked salmon. Next time I hope to try some food, have a light bite and grab more salmon. The staff here is helpful and friendly. I am so glad this place is part of the Seaside community. read more

I love everything about this local business! I tried the molasses cookies, peanut butter, and the chocolate chip. All were perfectly fabulous! I love that they source their products locally, and their curating was very complimentary. When I arrived, they tempted me with the smoked salmon varieties and all were delicious. I bought the brown sugar variety and also the cracked pepper. Then, I came back for more. The gluten free salmon chowder was bliss, although I added a little salt and pepper. Then, of course, I had to try the salmon Mac and cheese. I loved it! The salmon jerky was like candy. The people working there were exactly the kind of people I want to do business with. Warm, welcoming, and hospitable! THANK YOU! I will be back next time I'm in town. read more

Great little spot. We had our dog along, which is challenging, and needed a place to eat outside. By the time we showed up it was late in the day and their full cafe menu was not available; that did not deter us as the attendant there (Hi Ernesto!) was super friendly and welcoming - over half the reason we went inside in the first place; he gave us the lowdown on what was available and was charming and friendly and knowledgeable. I got the salmon spread on a toasted bagel - it is delicious, with just a hint of heat. Perfect. My husband had the smoked salmon on a bagel and it was also tasty. We were improvising but so glad we stopped by. The place also includes a store which we didn't really peruse but looked interesting. My husband was still commenting a couple of days later on how we enjoyed stopping by - thanks Ernie! read more

I went in initially for a sandwich and the chowder. I was greeted and quickly found out they no longer carry gluten free options for their burgers or sandwiches. I did try a cup of the chowder and it's delicious. Would love to stop by again in the future if they bring gluten free bread back. Grabbed a few truffles that look delicious. Lots of other goodies to check out. read more

We were driving around Seaside, taking in the sights and came across this gem. They feature smoked salmon, cheeses and many artisan foods from local fare. We had the smoked lox on a bagel sandwich. It was awesome! The bagels were light and not chewy. The smoked salmon lox is mixed with capers and cream cheese. They are generous with samples. We wished that we were in the area longer to try more items on the menu. Although, we bought a variety of smoked cheese to take with us. read more

Wow! What an amazing experience! this is the friendliest place in Cannon Beach and worth a visit just for the great staff. They offered me samples of nearly everything and I didn't have a single thing that wasn't amazing! I got to say, the mac & cheese really was the best, but the pickled garlic was a close second (Not sure I would've tried that if they didn't offer, but glad I did).
