Dr. Beazlie-Walker called me Friday soon after I wrote this review. Thank you Yelp for providing this forum! She apologized for the visit not going well and acknowledged I was right on all points. Thank you! Why YES I am right. Glad we're in agreement now after exchanging numerous emails on the topic that got me nowhere. She offered to have me come back in for free wellness visit with her or her assistant so we could do a thorough checkup. I appreciated the gesture but declined. I still have a covered wellness visit through my insurance since this visit wasn't billed correctly. I want to select a new primary physician that I can work with on any health concerns I might have and know I am in good hands. The other aspect of this that was really offensive is that Sutter East Bay has reps that are supposed to help you with these types of conflicts. I spoke with a woman named Wendy who was going to help me resolve this situation. She was worse than the doctor in fighting me on resolving this and acknowledging my valid concerns. When we first spoke of the visit coded as Insomnia and I said it was allergy med related, she then said something about me having sinus issues which I don't. These are examples of the SPIN that can happen and how the healthcare system can work against you and twist what you say. Luckily I don't accept that approach and I will share my perspective repeatedly until my point is made. But the "resolution" reps need much more training as well if they're comprising a customer outreach program to support resolution and positive PR for Sutter East Bay. On a positive note, Amy Green, a Media Services Coordinator of Sutter East Bay, reached out after I wrote this review to see if she could provide assistance and I appreciated that. This ordeal is now over for me. Dr. Beazlie-Walker stated she'd provide more transparency to patients going forward about the parameters of wellness visits and be more thorough in her exams. If this headache doesn't happen to someone else, then there's an upside to all of this. And that's the beauty of Yelp! :-) read more

Dr. Sally Beazlie-Walker has been my primary physician since the fall of 2013. She has been approachable and attentive and concerned. I never feel rushed during my appointments with Dr. Beazlie-Walker and she has time to listen to all my concerns. I had read the negative reviews and I hope that readers will understand that much of what was complained about has to do with Sutter's business practices. Doctors are not taught to code advantageously for insurance benefits. If you're going to any doctor in this age of health reform for a wellness check, make sure you schedule a wellness exam and ask both the assistant and the doctor to code a wellness visit, so you can take advantage of the exam included free with all health insurance. The exact same thing happened to me with a Sutter doctor...and once coded, the coding will not be corrected. Beware! If you'd like a young doctor who is very interested in your care and open to treatment options, chose Dr. Sally Beazlie-Walker. I'm happy with the choice I made. read more

I absolutely love Dr. Beazlie-Walker. She was my primary care physician and is now my 2 year old son and soon to be daughter (currently pregnant with my 2nd) will go to her. She is absolutely AMAZING Doctor. She always responds to email promptly. She checks in with me and I always feel comfortable knowing I can speak with her in regards to anything. Updated this to say: she's the most amazing family practice doctor. My daughter absolutely loves her and she is amazing with my son. Even when my son puts up a fuss when its time to get his shots, she always talks to him so while he's still scared he's not crying or throwing a tantrum. A total win for me. I highly disagree with the previous review. First time I had a visit with Dr. Walker was for a routine physical back in March. She was friendly, thorough, and I related with her well...very easy to talk to. She checked everything and then some when it came to tests in regards to my age and family history, emailed me the results very quickly the next day and answered all of my questions just as fast. In June, I was out of state and had to go to urgent care for an ear and sinus infection. Next day I fly home on the weekend, and had a very bad reaction to the antibiotics. I emailed her, she responded right away and sent me in a new prescription immediately on a Sunday. Now, it is end of August and I was due for my pap smear and scheduled it with her and saw her yesterday. I mentioned a few concerns, she ran tests to make sure everything was OK and emailed me back my results already. Dr. Walker is really on top of things in regards to her patients. She is so nice and really seems to care. I will be making an appointment for my husband for her next and will continue to go to her for my visits as well. read more

I should have paid better attention to the reviews here. My visit didnt go well at all. She really needs to work on patient bed side manner. Maybe she was having a bad day but it just seemed like she was bored and already had her mind made up on why i was there before I could even finish talking. Ask for ANYONE else if you have to go here due to insurance. read more

She made feel like I was arguing with her. I take medicine for tmj, she wrote prescription for me to take the medicine 3 times daily... that is way to much. I wouldn't be able to function if I followed her advise. I advised her my tmj specialist suggested 1 pill at night time. Her response was that is they way we are required to prescribe this type of drug. I will take a specialist advise over her lack training. I won't be back. Not sure what else she might do. Funny thing is a non-clinical person from sutter asked me how to fix this after I posted this. Easy don't use sutter doctors. read more

Today 2/24/16 I had an appointment with Dr.Sally BeazlieWalker. It was the worst experience ever. She has a horrible attitude and is not qualified to be a doctor. I should have checked Yelp reviews before making this appointment. This was an absolute waste of my time. Don't bother seeing her!!! read more

I absolutely love Dr. Beazlie-Walker! My 16 year old daughter who is also rather particular adores her. We began seeing her in 2013 and only when I changed coverage stopped. We switched back JUST so we can go back to her. She always listens to my daughter or me, never talks down to my daughter and is always patient and thorough. I appreciate her attentiveness and how great she is with her patients. read more

I am not a patient of Dr. Walker. I called to see if she was accepting new patients . I guess I just missed being that patient by a couple of days. My comment is about the young man on the phone was so wonderful. He listened to my story and gave me the names of other doctors who may be able to help me. He could have just said no she isn't and hung up. But he went out of his way to give me information on other doctors. I really appreciate his time and effort in this crazy busy world. read more

well I will have to say I had a very bad experience with this doctor, I went to her back in march of 2013 with a foot problem I will have to say she did exam the foot and ordered xrays, this is where things go wrong she called and told me that the swelling in the foot was caused by edema and she was going to send me to p.t well the xray report shows degenerative joint disease, Now I do not blame her for me having this disease but I will say if this was diagnosed or if I was referred over to a foot doctor I would of not be in the position I am in now, as it was I took it upon my self to have this looked at by a foot doctor in June the out come of this is that I ended up in the hospital for a week I was 2 days away from losing my leg up unitl October I could not put any weight on this foot at all it is now November and I am still in a cast from my knee all the way down, to my toes, My foot is totally deformed and I will never be able to wear regular shoes again, I was real lucky to be able to have a Great Orthopedic who is still trying to save this foot, if I was treated back in march for degenerative joint disease my foot would not be deformed to this point and I would not be in this position so if would I recommend this doctor NO in fact every doctor I see now after hearing my story about the xrays and what ended up happening they all just shake there heads in disbelief, read more

dr. beazlie-walker takes the TIME to listen to my many concerns and questions when I'm not feeling well. she has never once been condescending or cut me off. she responds to emails quickly and does research for me before prescribing medications. i have never left an appointment with her feeling rushed, confused, or disappointed. i have had 10 months of poor health due to an expected surgery, post-surgical complications, and diabetes. every time i see a different doctor at Sutter i end up not getting anywhere and having to make another appointment. dr. beazlie-walker is the reason my health is turning around and I'm finally on the road to recovery. she's intelligent and thorough and explores every possibility when making a diagnosis and treatment plan. i have a PPO and would switch to anywhere else (Sutter customer service sucks) if it wasn't for this doctor. read more
