I wanted to try something new, and I've heard many great things about micro. I was a little nervous about it but Tania put me at ease and explained what the process was. She kept checking in with me to see if I was handling it ok. She also made me relax with her amazing massage. She asked me about my skin care routine and I let her know what it was, and asked if she had any recommendations for me. She was honest, kind and professional, I did not feel pressured that I had to buy anything. I ended up buying a cleanser and moisturizer at her recommendation and my skin looks the best it ever has! After years of over-plucking my brows (hello 90s!) and some martial arts blows to the brow area, I was left with patchy and mismatched brows. Filling them in was the bane of my morning makeup routine and I inevitably was left with two fuller but still obviously mismatched and oddly-shaped brows. After an initial consultation, I made an appointment. I was nervous, mostly because it's a semi-permanent FACIAL tattoo. If I didn't like the results, there'd be no going back for quite awhile. Gina was patient with my nervousness and REALLY listened to what I wanted, and added her professional opinions of what would work for my face and how brows can alter your look. Gina's attention to detail was key in getting exactly the ***perfect*** brows for my face. I got up front the chair and it looked like I had had a face lift! My friends were floored in the change in my before and afters. Prettyology provides detailed instructions on before and after care for microblading, and has a beautiful salon on Newbury Street. I'm 70 years old, so I gave it a shot. With in minutes, I felt and saw the difference around my eyes. Kim also tried it on my husband who had puffy eyes and more wrinkles: it worked for him, but by nightfall, the "look" was gone and his skin seemed to be irritated. I had buyers remorse, as we spent $300. with the hope this 'miracle lotion' will last over a year. I am on day 3 now, and my eye treatment is still working with no further application. (just what was promised) Guess I am happy, but I would not go for their "free facial" as I knew that was going to be way too much money in products, and they certainly are great sales people.

Love, love, love this location. I was in there just a couple of weeks ago and I shopped the Anniversary Sale that this chain was running and got some great buys on skincare and cosmetic products. The store was very well staffed and in fact there seemed to be extra staff on, I would imagine because where they were running their annual Anniversary Sale the store was a bit busier than normal plus it was on a Saturday evening which is when a lot of individuals and families seem to go out to shop. I took a look through their clothing department for ladies and I did see some very cute outfits and ladies separates such as jeans and tops. The store displays were attractively set up and the store was very clean including the rest rooms. The prices for clothing is a bit on the high side but the clothing looked to be of excellent quality and all of the items were all of the latest fashions. Everyone working there on the two occasions this past month that I visited the store seemed friendly and accommodating. A special shout out to Carolyn in the cosmetics department. She seems very nice and did help me a lot to find exactly what I needed and wanted. This location definitely does not disappoint!
