Science and Beauty is its new name, but it is the same exact owner and place inthe Northshore Mall, This is the most unethical place that uses aggressive sales tactics and pandering behavior to target the elderly and susceptible. After 3 hours of browbeating and refusing to accept my parent's no thank you they had them sign a contract SHE DID NOT WANT that has drained their savings, and they have all the legal loopholes covered to make sure we can't get her money back. This is a disgrace of a place. Expect to constantly be given the most amazing deal that will take tens of thousands of dollars out of your account. read more

On 9/2/19 at 3:30 PM while visiting from MD I was encouraged to the Kiosk by a salesman who identified himself as Laurel Tucker. He tested a product on my face claiming it retailed for $7500. He sold it to me for $2550. Such a deal! It was placed in a shopping bag along with "free" skin care products. When I got back to my daughter's home in Beverly (where I was staying until 9/4/19) we examined the merchandise based on information contained on the Avologi website. We discovered the item Laurel placed in the bag was indeed not the device used during his demonstration. Fast forward to 9/3/19 at 10 AM (please note less than 24 hours later) I returned as the Kiosk was opening for business with all UN-OPENED merchandise politely requesting to return it. Laurel apologized for the error and replaced the item taking the wrong device putting it back on display. I requested to return all for credit. Laurel negatively responded claiming it was a medical device that he was not authorized to accept returns. In his handwriting at the bottom of my American Express receipt he wrote "6 month return". He said I would hear from the company by 6 PM with pre-paid mailing instructions. Fortunately I did not leave the merchandise because the call never came. I texted Laurel with the address where I was for the purpose of retrieving the boxes. He replied. "Ok " But no call ever came. I am disputing this with credit card company. Horrible experience. Horrible, heartless clerks. As a senior, I strolled by for a walk. One girl, called me in for a free sample. Why not? Her memorized script insisted I MUST buy these products and will look YEARS younger. I look fine, actually. She piled up all these creams and lathered my face. I wiped it all off- I sensed " snake oil salesman " as she used terms to convince me to stay- and pay. I see from reviews I'm not alone. This company uses unethical tactics to persuade you to buy their products. They claim their no return policy is in in clear view yet they steer you away from the register so you don't see it. They stuff your receipt into the bottom of the bag so you don't see it on that until after you've left the store. They never mentioned it verbally to me. I had an allergic reaction to their products and was told I could exchange them. Exchange for what?? I was allergic! Refused any return even though I was back in less that 24 hours with all products unopened and in original packaging! Oh! and the "dermatologist" that was only there for the day from Las Vegas and has treated all the stars, has been there every day for the last 2 months! Steer clear!! I complained to my charge company and they were sent a letter full of lies from Forever Flawless. They haven't seen the last of me. On Tuesday October 13 I received a call from Vanessa from Forever Flawless at the North Shore Mall in Peabody with a special offer. Since I was looking for a new spa, I booked a trial service for Friday October 16 when they would give me a facial tailored to my skin needs. $49.99 were charged to my credit card. I sent an email to Vanessa the following day October 14 Less than 24 hours after the booking to cancel my appointment and requested a refund. I also sent her an email to their headquarters office. I received a call from Vanessa where I explicitly requested a cancellation given Covid in my close circle among other issues. She explained she would contact her manager to process the refund. As of today November 14 I have not received a refund. My multiple calls and emails have been ignored. This spa, as they call themselves, does not have a menu of services and specific treatments on their website. They have a strong pushy sales pitch to try their products. I am very disappointed with their customer service. I will never consider their promotions again and suggest to everyone to do their homework before booking. once there, you are a captive audience. These people are rude. While it's understandable they are probably paid minimum wage and need to make commission, when my mother walked by and refused services they insulted her physical appearance numerous times. Why shopping with my nieces yesterday a man Santiago called me over because of dark circles under my eyes. I said no thank you and he would not take no for and answer. Lesson learned just keep walking. He was very hard to understand and walked out spending 212.50 on stuff I never wanted. I tried telling him I would think about it and he said aww I like you let me give this to you for free. It's a total rip off!! Stay away. Don't let them pull you in. They don't tell you no refunds! Treat people terribly. Refused to accept refund policy even though corporate website says they accept refunds within 14 days if product is still in its package. Kept pretending they couldnt do anything for me until they heard back from their boss, then just ran out the clock until 14 day period ended. I had just gotten the news that I had breast cancer. A couple of days later I was walking through the North Shore Mall in a daze. A nice young girl asked if I wanted to try a cream. I NEVER fall for these tactics but I was extremely vulnerable. I ended up meeting with the Manager and walked away with $3,000 worth of products. They knew my health situation and still pushed. Foolishly, I just wanted to feel good about myself. The products do not last 12 months, my neck broke out from their foolish neck cream and my body broke out from their body butter. Please don't buy into their story. Buy Cetaphil and maybe another over the counter cream and drink lots water. I have never been fooled like this so I wanted to share. read more

Back in December I was walking through the North Shore Mall in Peobody, MA. I was pulled in by a very lovely sales lady who showed me how effective their under eye firming cream works. I struggle with pain so very often I appear very tired with dark sagging circles under my eyes. I have been happy with how the cream has worked. And the sales lady reduced the price of the cream to something that I could afford which was also appreciated. It was expensive but I felt it was an investment in helping myself to look better than I feel. I did purchase another product from them that I needed to return due to a change in circumstances and they did work with me to make that return happen. I was greatful that I was able to get my money back. The manger was compassionate about my change in financial circumstances. read more

while visiting the mall, I received a few free samples of moisturizer (which I had just come in from the cold) I liked the feel of it, so I went back and had the "eye treatment" for lines under my eyes and lift to my eye lids. I'm 70 years old, so I gave it a shot. With in minutes, I felt and saw the difference around my eyes. Kim also tried it on my husband who had puffy eyes and more wrinkles: it worked for him, but by nightfall, the "look" was gone and his skin seemed to be irritated. I had buyers remorse, as we spent $300. with the hope this 'miracle lotion' will last over a year. I am on day 3 now, and my eye treatment is still working with no further application. (just what was promised) Guess I am happy, but I would not go for their "free facial" as I knew that was going to be way too much money in products, and they certainly are great sales people. read more

Well I went into forever flawless and I purchased from laurel and his wife Mercedes gave me a facial. I liked the products at the time and the two salesman but when I went up for a follow up facial I hear that those two do not work there anymore. I was pressured to buy more products that cost like $8,700 by another salesman and I come back to return products from Mercedes and laurel and the other products I bought and found out that they didn't do returns but I was able to speak to the owner Benito and he lied to me and said someone would call which never happened so now I wanna go to be the BBB and report them. I'm just warning other never go to these people because they are liars and scammers. Benito is the owner never trust him they also have a store on the south shore. read more

I spoke with a sales person named Amily and after letting her know that I wasn't interested in that moment because the price was too high and I needed to think about it, she accused me of being a liar.
