But when I don't, it can feel overwhelming as there are so many sections and shelves of products that I end up scanning each aisle trying to decide what to buy. Employee Gladys Lopez provided a wonder recommendation after I got my hair colored at a beauty salon. My color was on my forehead and sides on my face. She showed me this wonderful products that I used and it immediately removed the color where it wsnt supposed to be. I used Color Brilliance stain remover. Sally is very expensive, more than food !! Also, I found from purchasing a very small bottle of "Clear" nail polish 1.25fl Oz for $4.00 maybe, 5 uses for both hands, is all it would last for !!!! Its, the quality also, for the price you would think your getting a better product, but this new $4 polish, came off my nail edeges, after i washed my face and brushed my teeth, the water wasnt to hot, nd i use a mild soap , whats the damn problem ????The lady's in this location were nice and very helpful, I enjoyed them, but Sally is a trip !!! This Sally is my fav of the chain. Its not the closest to my house that would be the one on Lakewood and Rosecrans but we wont talk about place. Hello I'm a Norwalk for over 40 years, I have been going to the Sally's beauty supple in the Norwalk square since the 70's. I have experience nothing but negativity, roundness, unwelcoming from the manager that's been there for many years. I recently went to the store and again she was very rude to me. I don't understand how this company can have someone like her dealing with the public, something needs to be done about her, either transfer her to another store or just get rid of her. This review is for the fat mean employee with the oval head and big hoops for earrings!!!!!!! I called the store to see if they were open b/c of COVID and the lady who answered me was really rude and dry. I went it the store a few minutes with my grandma and she only speaks Spanish. The same lady from the phone was our cashier and she sounded so annoyed that my grandma was asking question. When my grandma told her that she came for an item she called about they started laughing at her. My grandma speaks Spanish and I speak both English and Spanish. They lady was answering my grandmas questions in horrible Spanish and was making rude comments in English thinking we couldn't understand. They have horrible customer service and need to be trained correctly. They were being extremely rude and sarcastic. Great little beauty supply store!!! Located in Norwalk Sqaure, this Sally's is in a nice (Norwalk nice...) area and there's plenty of parking. I love going here for the nail files (so many to choose from, type and price wise) and I know I can always find those eyelash curler refill pad thingys here, too. What's cool is the items I shop for here are located on the same aisle (last one to the left). My mother in law shops here for her hair coloring needs and one of the local buisness owners (Maggie from Klazzy Kutz) shops here as well. I know they have a customer rewards program with a keychain card and everything, but I think you pay for the membership (and discounts). Oh, and the ladies that work here have always been really helpful in finding stuff in the store, since it is kinda small and all the merchandise can be overwhelming to look at. read more

Worst costumer service! I walked in at 12:15 on Monday August 5th and I wasn't even greeted, all I got was a weird look by the lady with the slicked back red hair. I was ready to pay and again, she did not say I single word to me. The only words that left her mouth was my total and when she gave me the receipt she just handed it to me without saying a single "bye" or "have a nice day". Horrible service. I dread walking into this place when I have questions about dying my hair. Walked in today and asked the first girl about dying my hair orange since the red I had faded to a light orange and I figured I'd just dye it a fresh shade of orange. I told her I was using the l'oreal highlights and If switching over from red to the orange would work. She looks at me like Im stupid for wanting orange hair and then asks what brand I'm using when I had just told her. She then tells me its not orange, its copper. I didn't read the name of it because there was a costumer also looking at the same products and I didn't want to interrupt her. She basically corrected me and went back to hating her job so I went to look for someone else I could ask for help. Yes, the lady with the black/red hair. Horrible customer service. I asked her to direct me to the top coat for dip nails, she said "all that is there is all we have." Didn't even bother to look. This is the closest Sally's to my house and I can say, with confidence, it's probably one of the better ones in the area. I am a Pro member, so I get the deepest discount available, which brings me back over and over again. I also love the GVP line of products; it allows me to stock up on some faves that are usually pricey, at more than half off. If you are a skeptic, read the ingredients list on the brand name & GVP versions - same damn thing. The extra cost is for "brand recognition". Sure - I'll pay an extra $12 for the brand. FOH. Anyhow, the staff at this location are always helpful and pleasant. They do a good job of greeting you upon your arrival. I will say that some of the younger gals on staff need some customer service training. I've been ignored more than once and it's usually by a younger employee. The more seasoned employees don't pull this crap. The store itself is kept neat and organized, which I'm sure is challenging given how small this store is - no way can two people walk in opposite directions down any aisle. I had to come here many times to fix the little problem.i placed an order of one saloon chair a month ago and they charged me from my debit card but the very next day the store manager called me and said the chAir which i ordered is not in stock. I am highly upset that I was told by Maria over the phone that they had the product i needed to do my hair for an interview tomorrow.  I raced over and got there at 8:57 to find the door locked when it clearly states on the door that they close at 9. Maria and Tiffany then proceed to give me attitude and taunt me through the door saying things like "the drawer locked what are you going to do kick the door down?". This is not the level of customer service I expected from Sally's. I am now stuck not knowing what to do with my hair and have been reduced to tears.
