I moved from Missouri to past Porter and being big on hair and nail art, I was elated when I realized there was a Sally's near me. Unfortunately I'm a little disappointed. I have shopped at Sally's for four or five years, have had a membership all of those years and have never had a poor experience.
However in this store, I have gone at least three times and every time I was treated like a nuisance, or like I was trying to steal something. The ladies here act like checking someone out is a massive pain, and like browsing should be illegal. I like to roam around simply because I'm always trying new things (from their company!) and I can't do that here without feeling uncomfortable. I thought it was a fluke the first time but the second time I was reading the wax jars and for the fourth? time in like fifteen minutes I was approached by an annoyed employee asking what I was looking for. Normally, that's good customer service, but her tone made the difference as well as a huge sigh when my answer was "just browsing", every time. One even followed me around the store and messed around with whatever was near me to look busy. I get that theft is a problem but sorry I didn't get dressed up to come to your store? I have them no reason to think I was stealing, and even purchased 30$ worth of merchandise despite the hostility. I had questions, but I sure wasn't going to ask.
Anyway, prices are comparable and if you are alright with being stared at and having eyes rolled at you, it's great for anyone off of Sonoma, as it's right next to Walmart, gas and food places read more
