Our server, Francesca, was wonderful and gave us some great drink recommendations. We ordered a few drinks and settled in to enjoy the experience. Even reading through the menu was fun--they have some unique rules that definitely add to the speakeasy atmosphere. The only downside was that the party seated next to us was extremely loud, which happened to go against one of the rules. Unfortunately, their volume didn't seem to be addressed. Mike and his staff did a great job setting up the Ballroom for our group. We got to see two of our favorites at Origin Hotel/33 Staves, Jennifer and Ruby. They are Rockstars!! We enjoyed the food. The Fried Catfish was my favorite and the Blueberry Cheesecake was phenomenal. My wife's favorite was the Fried Green Tomatoes. They have different flavor profiles that rotate, if I understood correctly. I'm struggling to remember the details but I believe it was a chocolate bread pudding with a caramel bourbon sauce. Maybe something to do with Kahlua sauce. You'll have to forgive my memory, I just don't know all that he said - however, what I DO know and am QUITE certain of, this was very literally THE BEST dessert I have EVER tasted in my life!
