This is part of a shopping and restaurant complex that's more of a college/late night/touristy type of bar. They don't have a menu. You just look at the chalkboard or ask the bartender what he can make. Bartender was very casual, but kept on top of drinks. I had the cucumber number (cucumber vodka and St. Germaine), a margarita, and a daiquiri. They were pretty basic and overly sweet. They were cheap and fine for what they were. Just popped in for a Bloody Mary. Tanner was fun to chat with! Ambiance was cool and fun! Service was epic.

Bartender hands me a beer and hands me my change, and then asks if i'm going to leave a tip. As someone who works for tips, I am never going to tip someone who asks for tip. She proceeded to tell me that I was not getting served the rest of the night. Do your job that you get paid for and hand me a beer, stop being entitled and rudely asking customers for tips without providing a service. My husband really enjoyed going down on Thursday night live. We meet up with friends, meet new friends, The bartenders are very friendly and security definitely keeps the riffraff out. The drinks are good reasonably priced. I've not been down there any other time but Thursday night live so I can't say for sure. My only complaint is it's so loud. You can't really visit inside without feeling like you got a shout to talk to your friends. It's not gonna keep me from going back. There is outside seating, but that's very popular. read more

Never go to this bar if you want to be shown any kind of humanistic rights or self respect, especially if you're a woman. It's also probably filled with underage children who don't know how to handle themselves. I only say that because that's the kind of people I unfortunately encountered the several nights I have tried to give this place a chance. I wasn't originally going to write this review, as I spoke with the manager about my situation and he claimed to "take care of my tab" at the end of our conversation (didn't even ask him to do that), but I just looked at my bank statements a week later and he definitely did not do that. Regardless if it was a mistake or not, I feel really strongly about what happened to me there, and I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I had to, because it was dehumanizing to me as a woman. I was on my period while I was there (saying that bluntly because if you're offended by that, get the over it, it's a natural process that every single woman experiences and the only reason you're sitting where you are) and needed a little extra time in the bathroom, the THREE times I had to go while I was there for over TWO hours. Anyone who understands the menstrual cycle, KNOWS: It's UNPREDICTABLE. I can't control when it comes or how it comes. As I was taking a little longer I would get beating and knocking on the door. I have anxiety as it is already, and I don't enjoy confrontation or making people upset, but this was so rude. There is a BATHROOM ATTENDANT, who is responsible for controlling people outside of the bathroom. That's his JOB. Control your customers. Or, how about YOU, as the ATTENDANT, knock on the door politely to make sure your customers are okay? What if that had been a drunk customer who was taking too long because they passed out, and was asphyxiating... that's a lawsuit on y'all's hands! I came out the FIRST time and kept my cool until the customers, AND the bathroom attendant were literally laughing, and making comments about how long I had been taking, as I was washing my hands in the sinks provided outside the stalls. That's when I proceeded to ask all three MALES what genitalia they had, to confirm that they indeed had never had a period, and couldn't relate to my situation, (therefore needed to shut their mouths). The attendant continued to have the male customer's sides, and was extremely rude and misunderstanding to me. I'm taking a wild guess (assuming) he probably thought my raging attitude was associated to my alcohol intake, but in reality it was due to my raging hormones (that he would never relate to as a male) because I had had two drinks that whole night thus far. I'm 180 pounds. Takes more than 2 to get me drunk y'all. Terrible experience. Came here today for a bachelor party. Big group of guys. Two young lady bartenders, one with tattoos, very skinny. Both were unhelpful to the point of being rude. Bad attitudes , sour facew, we left. No thanks. Plenty of other places to drink. Sad read more

This place was crazy busy when we went and the service was still good. We were visiting Lexington and I knew they had a fun live music thing at the plaza that Centro sits on. It brings a crowd, lots of pretty UK girls, who knew, I thought all the pretty ones went to UF. (; They have a cocktail list,a shot list and a nice beer list. But all three of the guys were wonderful. I was visiting from From Florida for railbird fest & stopped in here because a friend recommended it. Excellent drinks, prices & atmosphere! This was a fun place to meet some friends downtown. I am not a "downtown goer" so I had the recommendation from a coworker. We went at 9 and there was ample seating despite the small space. It was a chilly night and so many seats were near the door. Because of that we were getting blasts of cold air. Around 10 there was huge influx of people. So crowded we couldn't to to the bar to order more drinks. Looked mostly corporate and a younger crowd - neither of which I fit in to. The nail in the coffin was that while waiting for a drink - I heard one of the bartenders ask a patron at the bar if she was heterosexual. I don't know what their pre-existing relationship is but it was a real turn off being part of the LGBT community. The positive was that the drinks were delicious and I loved the variety of the bourbon. I'd go back to this place if invited but probably probably would not go back on my own or suggest it with my friends. read more

We were headed to one of our favorite bars on Saturday before the game, only to find BGT closed for the day, but noticed Centro right next door and with quite the crowd, so we decided to stop. This is a fun place when hanging out by The Pavilion downtown. It has an open concept with big doors that open all the way so guests can experience indoor and outdoor drinking. The drink I got was delicious and sweet (something I enjoy). A little pricey, but most of the drinks I get are. A fun spot to check out. read more

This place totally surprised us! Great happy hour with open air doors that open all the way up. They had heaters outside and the fire was what drew us over. The interior is beautiful with exposed brick on a historical building. The bartender was super friendly! We sat and had 2-3 beers each and our tab was only around 30 bucks! Stopped by for a drink after the 1:30pm UK Basketball game. The place was pretty busy but we got service right away. They have a happy hour but i decided to get a draft ipa and my wife got a Kentucky Mule. The mule was not good (it was way to sweet) and couldn't even finish it. We paid $16.xx for the two drinks, $10 for the mule which was undrinkable. We will come back and try it again but will probably try a different cocktail. read more

The space is amazing and perfectly situated in the area downtown I most frequent. The ownership spent a great deal of time in renovating the old Courtyard Deli property. Ambiance - very industrial chic Bar size - not too big, not too small. Open and airy with all the windows and doors that allow it to open directly outside during nice weather. Chill and affordable spot downtown on a Farmers Market morning. Kind of quiet during the early afternoon, but still offered a fun mix of standard and house drinks. Not sure how I feel about the manmosa though - mimosa plus blue moon? Maybe you really have to love blue moon. read more
