I asked the bartender to make me something she made well and she chose a margarita (it was fine). Great vibe though. I loved the ceiling and the neon signs. I loved the fun little decorations. Bathrooms small but clean. Staff super nice. I went on a weekday afternoon and it was empty, but they were prepping for NYE, which they predicted would be busy. I'm sure it gets busy on the weekends, especially with a college campus nearby. As I said on another recent Lexington bar review, there are several cute little bars close together that aren't "destinations" themselves, but would be a fun stop on a bar crawl.

It feels like the kind of "hopping" bar you imagined as a kid, with colored lights, loud energy, and retro knickknacks that look straight out of your grandparents' basement bar in 1986 in Milwaukee. It somehow hits the perfect balance between gritty and fun. And the food? Incredible. Everything tastes fresh and made with real ingredients. The pickles were on point, the burgers were outstanding, and the fries were loaded with toppings--honestly more toppings than fries--and I'm not mad about it at all. My new fave spot when I visit.

I had the "I Go Where I'm Led," made with kimchi infused vodka, gin, dolin dry, and celery salt. It did indeed taste like kimchi and was certainly weird. I also had the "Need 3," made with prosciutto basil infused gin sotol, amaro obscuro, bitters, and soda. Also a savory, bizarre drink that I'm glad I tried, but wouldn't get again. They have more conventional cocktails as well, like the Paper Plane, Naked and Famous, Corpse Reviver #2. They have IPAs and plain Miller Lites. They have basic red, white, and sparkling wine.
