The sauna is small so I was in it by myself for 30 minutes. They have a privacy screen and a light color benefit. It was very relaxing and I was enjoying trying the different light colors. The cave holds about 8 people and you sit in a reclining chair. It is dark and they play meditation music. I really enjoyed this part. I was very relaxed and did feel energized. I had some tea after. The main Salt Spa room is set up for two people but they can accommodate up to 5 at a time. Please note, you will not be in a room with strangers. So bring friend(s), your spouse or enjoy it as your private oasis. The Himalayan salt is ground and emitted into the air for you to breathe. There is a salt pit where you can sit or lay on provided towels. Super soft blankets are available as well as heated towels, if desired, to wipe the salt off your skin before leaving. Breathing in the pink himalayan salt, helps to ease allergies and breathing. After I had left and headed home, I felt better. I don't go as much as I should, but regular visits will keep you in top shape when it comes to allergies and breathing. The Salt Pad is located on the upper level of the plaza, above Jason's Deli and the Mexican restaurant on the side facing Woodlawn. There is a waiting area available until your appointment time. Then you put your belongings in a locker and head into the room for 50-60 minutes of treatment. The staff is super helpful and explain the process to you if it's your first time. Definitely try it out!

With the spacious facility, it really gives the space the vibe you want in a spa. Checking in was a breeze, and after a nice quick tour, we were situated in our rooms. My wife and I both did it. It is not shared, so we were in separate rooms. You could probably request to be in the same but it would be pretty tight. But solo it is incredibly spacious in the booths. The infared sauna gets warmer than some versions, so you can have them up near 170 more like a traditional swedish sauna if you like. The halo therapy was the first for me and very unique. Salt therapy I know is very useful, but to have the medical grade salt in a closed room is a very different experience. I could see it really helping with COPD and asthma as it's claimed to do. You really can't beat the full facilities they have. With the little spacious lounge area to recuperate or to take a shower after. Free refreshments available to recover. (And some specialty drinks available for purchase in bottles near the front) Combine that with it's convenient location right off 77. Perfect for anyone like us who travels down to Charlotte frequently.

She assured us that if it didn't work out, we would be able to cancel. Well after not too long, we realized that we really didn't have enough time to go to the spa to make the cost worth it with tight finances. We contacted the owner to let her know we wanted to cancel, however, our payment for the following month processed just earlier that day. After talking to her she said she would cancel our membership and refund the following month's fee. A month went by and I never received the refund. We called several times with no answer from anyone at the establishment. Eventually my wife talked to the owner who said she changed her mind and isn't refunding us and will give us a voucher instead. We explained that she already promised us a refund and therefore it was inappropriate to change her mind, especially without giving us a courtesy call. I then called back numerous times to discuss the matter further, however, no one ever answers the phone and on rare circumstance they do answer I'm told that I will be called back and no one ever does. They also tell you that before you go to the spa you should call so they can set up the equipment so it's ready when you get there. However, that means someone actually has to answer the phone, which we already established never happens.

There are ZERO reminders of upcoming charges, so if you don't cancel the exact day it renews, you're billed again. I was charged for January without realizing it and never used the sessions. They refused to refund that month saying since they have my signature on the agreement, it is all on me. However, one of the employees told me I could bring in family or friends in February to "make up some of my money." Yet, when I tried to bring my husband and a friend just once, I was told I had to pay. When I reminded them what I was told, they claimed I misunderstood and said, "you don't seem to understand that we're running a business here. We're not giving out free sessions to everyone." Ending it with a phrase: "this is ridiculous. Just bring whoever you want!" I was left feeling stupid and like I was trying to take advantage of them. The dismissive tone, failed promises and lack of understanding were so disappointing that I immediately said I won't ever be back. I felt misled and taken advantage of. My family has been to other salt spas before and this one is by far the worst experience we've had.
