I came in on a Saturday afternoon to get a new tire. As soon as I drove into their parking lot, they asked what service I needed, and they started working on my car right away. There were 3 other customers when I arrived, but I only waited about 20 minutes. Their prices are very reasonable. They were quick and provided great customer service! read more

This review is overdue My wife has been coming for over 10 years plus to this establishment. From tire repairs, used and new as well. A hole in the wall with a a good crew of tire specialists. Not so modern tech but still up date. Still doing tires with the old way hydraulic machines yet still balance the modern way. Patch a tire quick and prompt. Also sell new tires that are popular brand. Young and elder sharing the work and knowledge the owner is a Mexican movie star. He has his movies on DVD I recommend this establishment read more

Took my cars here a couple times. Had gone to other Salinas Tires before. The last couple times I went here the manager was great this time. The owner must've been having a bad day or something. Came off really rude from the start. Last time I ever go to the Salinas. I know they're individually owned by their family members, but this guy the son of the owner was a real jerk. Stay away from this company. This Franchise. They are run differently. The dude had no customer service skills whatsoever. read more

I called around to get the best value for the tire and this place was the one. I appreciate they are open on the weekends as well, which really saved us on getting our car back running for the work week. We popped our front right tire from a pothole and we got a great condition tire for a very reasonable price. The lady manager and staff were all so nice and accommodating to work with. Terrible customer service. 562 TIRES TOOK WAY BETTER CARE IF ME !!! I called Salina's tires and asked for an alignment, they said come on in. The second I pulled in, the Alignment guy, older gentleman with glasses, shoo'd me away like I was some dog. I exited my truck to ask what was wrong and if there was anything he could do to my truck to help my alignment, even if they charged more or could give me an estimate on replacing any parts I needed. He turned his back walked away from me and proceeded to work on another customers vehicle. I understand if you're having a bad day or don't have time, but I literally was treated like some stray dog. I've always paid for their services, I've never cried about price. I've brought multiple vehicles and customers here. I took my truck in to diagnose for an ac evaporator failure. There vacuum test pass so then they…read morerefilled my Freon and sent me on my way. I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop.

My dad was present while Cesar worked on my car, and my dad gave me such a glowing review of how Cesar worked. My dad has not been able to stop talking about how Cesar did an amazing job on my car, how clean he works, how he keeps his tools, and his communication. My dad was so impressed with the quality of work Cesar provided on my car that he decided to get a quote for replacing his rotors. When Ceasr finished on my car, he let me know that my brake fluid was not in good condition. He drained my brake fluid and replaced it with new fluid. He explained to me in detail that brake fluid should not be topped off. I had no idea, and apparently, my dad didn't know either, and we had topped it off because it was low. Now, I know, for future reference, that when it's low, I should replace my brakes. I appreciate the work that Cesar did on my car and his communication. I will absolutely use his service again and recommend him to friends and family.

They're very transparent about pricing and will fix issues if it is their fault. Earlier in the year I had an issue where my car started to overheat as I left the shop and they came to my home and brought coolant and were able to drive it back to the shop and diagnose the issue and fix it. They were willing to reimburse me if I had to get a rental car, but luckily were able to figure out the cause that same day. Jose is always very helpful and easy to talk to. He's dropped me off home a couple of times from the shop. Gabriel is very direct and transparent about pricing. They are very on top of what they do. I recently had them replace the ball joints on my vehicle and they got my vehicle back to me during the time they quoted me.

When I asked why it was so high, they mentioned it included some kind of "warranty" with the oil change. That didn't really make sense to me for such a standard service and felt more like an upsell than actual value. I'm all for paying a fair price for good work, but for something as routine as an oil change, I expected pricing to be at least competitive with a dealership...not significantly higher. Ended up going elsewhere.

Their process seemed a little too good to be true. After getting various quotes from a range of others, the price was all over the place from too cheap to extraordinarily expensive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

This place is amazing I live all the way in Pomona and could not find a good place around here to buy food quality rims from. I had been searching online and came across Salinas Tires and decided to give it a look. Upon looking at the rims they have in stock all of them looked great. I drove all the way there to get some rims I had seen online but unfortunately when I got there they had just been sold but Oscar one of the workers there helped me find the right pair of rims for me. Went here for some off road used tires for my 09' Tundra so I can do some derby dompin' with friends down near Lake Elsinore. Got a set of BF Goodrich all-terrains with pretty decent tread level for far cheaper than what I would have paid up here in my area. Great service and the guys here definitely know their tires. I had 2 big nails a while back in one of my newer tires and thought it was done for. Another shop quoted me a price of around 150$, but the guy here told me the tire still had a lot of life left. They patched it in under 10 minutes and saved me over a hundred dollars. Been my favorite tire shop in Whittier since. read more

Business was not talked about first but Ulises was talking to my son and for a couple of minutes before I told my son I have to talk to him now. True professionalism, he didn't have to indulge my son but spoke volumes when he did. Had the car for a couple of days but he called each day with updates also what else should get replaced while they are there. Ultimately CV Axles with Wheel Bearings replaced along with the Upper and lower control arms, tie rods, bushing. Had a great experience and will definitely be coming back for future services.
