I drive an old car from 1996 and ive had many places charge alot for alignment and mess it up. Gener auto has gotten my car dialed twice now and very very fast. I never rush great service but if you are someone that needs your car back quick these guys can get it done quick if you are next up in line. Their pricing is very fair and their work is top notch. I drive from OC to have these guys to my cars now. I was actually recommended by another shop to try this one and im very happy! read more

This place is a scam, I took my car some months ago to get an alignment and they "finished it" but turns out they didn't even do anything, here I am months later with terrible tire wear that caused my tire to blow out on the freeway leaving me stranded for an hour. They claim that my model of car you can't do the alignment but instead of telling me "hey sorry we can't" they just said all done and took my money. read more

Excellent service and reasonable! Had me in and out in under an hour for an oil change and alignment!

This place is great. Owner and his crew are honest and legit with their prices. been coming in this tire place for years now.

I got new tires here for my 2016 Kia Sorento. My son in law suggested Gener tire. I don't drive a lot of miles so I was looking for a less expensive tire. I looked on the internet for options and found Ironman tires, they come in several models and have very good reviews. I printed out 5 Ironman tire options for my SUV and checked out prices at several tire shops. I stopped by Gener tire because they had the best price and were close to my location. I talked to Palemon about which model would be best for me. He took the time to go over my 5 Ironman tire options, I actually learned a lot about tires from him. We went with the Ironman All Country H/T. Great looking, great price and smooth ride. I will definitely be back when it's time for new tires for my wife's car. Rick C. read more

So I take in my SUV for a flat tire fix - no problem, cordial reception, "large screw" found, a patch was placed. $15, very reasonable. No receipt. Next few days tire slowly goes flat. I return expecting to hear patch didn't take, some vague apology. But no, "maybe the wheel/tire seal is broken", the manager tests for same, not the problem. He says, "there is another screw here" I feel and look, there is no screw. Tire "needs a plug". Twenty minutes later, tire fixed, a patch was placed, no screw demonstrated, this time or last time. Attitude change noted, "here's your car", no eye contact (....get the hell out), $15 paid, again. No receipt. Arrogant, unapologetic, crappy customer service. Shady staff. Wouldn't trust these guys with my neighbor's bike. HNd read more

Went in for a TPMS, told me the system was just programmed wrong and fixed a nail in my tire. Fast and honest work

Brought my mpss tires here and they were able to patch from the inside within minutes, they were honest and fair with pricing and no trying to upsell you. I was actually referred by compound r1 and very happy with the service. Yes, these are honest, reliable and friendly to deal with. read more

Gener Tire & Auto - Tires Near Me - Whittier, California

I recently moved to Whittier, and needed my tires changed quickly after noticing the tread on my Hyundai Accent 2013 has been balding. I called them the morning of, and they didn't have the tires in stock, but said they could source them within an hour. They quoted me $100 per tire to replace for a mid grade tire. I found the tires online for $75 per tire, so it was ~$25 per tire in labor which I found very reasonable. I was in and out within an hour having my alignment fixed and tires replaced. I am very glad in the quality of the tires and their work, as they easily could have sourced a lower quality tire without my knowledge for a larger profit, but kept the consumer in mind. Very glad to find a trustworthy tire shop in my new hometown. read more

Towed my vehicle to ger new tire....got good service, got decent price.....you will be satisfied taking your car here

Manager and owner Palamon greeted me properly my very first time here. I came in thinking I just needed a tire alignment, but was advised to get all new four tires. He gave me a great price, never once felt being taken "advantage" of. They got my tires installed, balanced and aligned. He said to bring it back every oil change for complementary alignment and balance since I purchased tires there. Will be back soon, to also get tire sensors replaced which they also service and offer good pricing. read more

This is just my personal opinion, got an alignment for a good price; cant complain there But iv been around the block, meaning i had to tell them wheres the report so i can now for my self. Also what else needs to be addressed so my truck can be in tip top shape; i had to approach them and find out instead if communicating with me. read more

I live 35 miles away from Gener Tires in Whittier. I was on my way to see my nephew, but ended up coming here because I needed help right away. My nephew referred me here and I am so glad he did. Palemon, the owner, not only did he fix my tires problem, but also his prices were reasonable, and I keep coming for any other services Yolthat he offers. Every time I come for service, I see other customers of his, Palemon treats them like old friends, and I see his customers are very loyal because Palemon is a person you can trust. I too, now feel Palemon is like an old friend. He's not just a business owner, he really likes to help people. He goes the extra mile to take care of his customers. So I don't mind traveling all those miles for his services. It is worth it for me. I immediately, felt I could trust him, and I was right. I highly recommend him. Great service at a fair price. Can't ask for more than that of a business. Call ahead as they can get real busy!

Got new tires installed and staff was super friendly and apologetic for the short wait before they took my car in. They even asked before they cracked a locked-up wheel nut, which was refreshing because I've been told after the fact at other service shops. Install was quick and their service recommendations came without a hard sell. Definitely coming back here! read more

Nice people, helped me out with a oil change for only $60. This is my new spot forsure super affordable and great service.

I've got some old school SA3R super advan wheels I've been struggle to find a place capable to balance them with the right machine/adapter. We went to 5 places and denied 5x from previous inquiries. We found out about this place through a friend and our experience with Paloman was honorable and the outcome was fantastic. He was upfront about what may occur given the adapter and process of balancing the wheel(super minimal) and he was just so knowledgeable we appreciated his quickness! 10/10 would come again!!! read more

I brought in a wheel and tire to have it replaced. I was listening to them install the tire while in the office and can hear that they were having some trouble. I have 10 years as a mechanic and about 3 of those working at a tire shop so I'm very familiar with tire machines . When I got the wheel back I noticed the front face had rubber on it. Immediately I knew he inserted the tire from the front and not the rear. With these 20 inch rims you need to install the tire on the backside of the wheel so it doesn't hit the face and also so you don't scratch the finish. I installed my wheel and noticed my tire pressure light wasn't turning off. So I went back and asked them if they damaged my TPM sensor inside my wheel and they said no. I told him if he saw the TPM sensor inside the wheel and he said "I don't know, it's probably there yea" like how did you not see a TPM, it's your job NOT to DAMAGE it. told them it was working perfect before I brought it to you, and he had the audacity to tell me "it was probably already not working". Like really guy. I maintenance my own cars smh Well surprisingly (not really) that brand new tire they installed popped on me the very next day, went to another shop to buy a new tire and I was 120% sure it was install error and knew there would be some damage to the tire lip from install. Well here are the pics, you tell me. Been coming here to install tires every now and again, but absolutely will not anymore. Don't bring your expensive rims here. read more
