I received excellent chiropractic care at Saleh chiropractic in San Leandro. The building has plenty of off street parking and the Location is within proximity to the freeway making it easy to go after work for my adjustments and decompression treatments. The entire team is super friendly and genuinely eager to help you get the best service possible. I had been suffering from severe arm and neck pain for weeks! I had gone to another chiropractor, I tried acupuncture and even massage therapy but found little to no relief. One day instagram shows me a video of Dr. Ahmed adjusting a woman and giving her a massage with a gun in the area where I was having pain so I clicked on the ad, filled it out.. and came in the next day! I recently got the most abhorrent care over the phone trying to book a follow-up appointment and pass along MRI DVD to Dr. Ahmed with his new male front desk assistant. Was treated rudely from the start from this person who had zero patience with any question or trying to get a note to Dr. Ahmed. First he tried to ask personal questions and second-guess Dr. Ahmed's original diagnosis concerns with me, asking condescending questions about who diagnosed my conditions, etc., until I finally said Dr. Ahmed himself along with multiple ortho/spine surgeons had had the same concern. Couldn't believe this person was trying to assess my condition over the phone without ever even meeting me or knowing me. And then when he didn't like my answer was absolutely RUDE with and blocked any attempt to get a brief note to Dr. Ahmed (just trying to see if 1 of 3 MRIs Dr. Ahmed had requested were ok to book the next appt!). He disrespectfully cut me off repeatedly when I was attempting to book the appointment, spoke to me like a child, and when I asked him for courtesy in responding to me, he pretty much cut me off and hung up. It smacked of mysogeny frankly. And I NEVER throw that term around. And I have NEVER had to ask for civility from a medical practice before - that's usually something you only see in film or TV! I am a professional person and senior manager myself at a Fortune 100 company running a large department of employees. If ANY of my staff ever spoke to any client that way they would be terminated on the spot. I have NEVER been treated so rudely. This guy is going to drive away all of Dr. Ahmed's clientele if they are not careful. I know I won't be calling back. And it's a shame, because Dr. Ahmed was nice and caring. I've been to 9 chiropractors offering different types of care in the past few years hoping to get help with my back and neck pain as well as sciatica and vertigo unfortunately no one of them was able to really help. I've received care from the honest, the incompetent, the business only oriented and the arrogant. And based on my experience with all those and in particular Dr. Saleh, who was incompetent, arrogant and all about the money, I've learnt a few important things that I would like to share with you and then I will talk about my horrible experience with Dr. Saleh. Some chiropractors will ask you to pay in advance for a package of up to 40 sessions. And they won't do another X-ray to see if you're getting better until your last session. So my advise give it between 10 to 20 sessions max and if you don't start feeling better it means you're in the wrong place. Most chiropractors don't accept medical insurance. So if they tell you to pay from your pocket and that you can submit a claim to your insurance and get reimbursed don't believe that check with your insurance first. When I booked an appointment with Dr. Saleh last August, it was because he showed in network within Anthem Blue Cross system. But when I went to see him he said that he wasn't in network anymore and that I will pay from my pocket and then I will get reimbursed after I submit a claim with Anthem. I was so naive to believe him and I thought that I will get some of my money back. And it was only because he told me I can get reimbursed that I've decided to receive his care because I couldn't afford to waste more money especially that I was unemployed. Dr Asha was the one who did the assessment and prescribed the care that I would be getting twice a week. After a few weeks I was getting worse and I would tell them how I felt every time I get to my appointment but Dr. Saleh was saying in front of other patients that I was getting better and I had to correct him that it's the opposite. And that's when he decided to do another assessment himself and he changed the care a little bit but no change I was getting worse and worse. Then we had to sit down and talk seriously about all that was going wrong with the care they were providing and he kept pushing me to get more care which means paying more money. At that time I was struggling with Anthem to reimburse me but it was a nightmare. Long story short they told me that I won't be reimbursed and that Dr. Saleh had basically lied to me about getting some money back and they opened an investigation. One day he told me that he is number 2 in the US in the type of care he offers which is a huge lie and that's arrogant. Both Dr. Saleh and Dr. Asha were not able to give me a proper neck adjustment. The way they did it was super abrupt and just felt wrong. After I complained they stopped adjusting me and just used the massage gun instead which didn't do anything. I've had hundreds of neck adjustments and even new graduates who were still learning from other chiropractors were able to do a proper adjustment but not Dr. Saleh. When I would try to tell him how I felt about all that was going on he would not listen and I did tell him that he was a very bad listener for a doctor. His staff are super nice but it's a mess in the office as he couldn't find an office manager. They've made a lot of mistakes in my billing and they charged me twice one time. They even emailed me another patient's bill! I saw him multiple times arguing with his staff in front of everyone just super unprofessional. He offered me after just a few appointments a free 20 minute massage session and he wanted me to write a review in exchange. I saw him do the same thing with fairly new patients. So I won't be surprised that a lot of the good reviews were because patients got the free massage and because they don't have enough time to really judge his care. The only good thing that I got in that office was Dr. Asha's stomach hernia adjustments. She was really good and it did help me. Unfortunately, he was charging me for hernia adjustment that takes literally 5 minutes the same price as about half an hour of adjustments, massage and exercises. Dr. Saleh seems a very nice guy in the beginning but then you realize that he's incompetent, unprofessional, dishonest and cares only about the money!!! read more

Upon walking in I was greeted with such warmth it made me feel like they already knew me. I met Ahmed 6 years ago when I first started working at Highland Hospital and he was seeing patients on certain days at the hospital. I was so impressed by his knowledge and expertise and the changes I was seeing from his treatments.
