W O W This is one of those rare restaurants where I not change a thing. I loved the atmosphere, the decor, the staff, AND the food. Back to sausage, which is what Salciccium means in Latin, what a selection! Not an immense selection, but very electic. German, Spanish, and Mexican sausages, and a couple others. I think they are made in house.The fresh baked french bagguette my Catalan sausage was served on was perfection. Our waiter told us he was from Catalan Spain, and my guess is that he is the owner. Went here for pizza. Luis, the manager, was very warm and welcoming. My husband and I shared a pizza - thin crust, not overly cheesy, homemade pesto. The best surprise was the salsa tray with homemade salsa - try the onion salsa, it's yummy. My husband's frappe with fresh ground coffee was outstanding. This is a great place to get food if you're visiting the Tulum ruins. The menu is pretty extensive with some vegetarian options too. read more

This place has air conditioning, you can't give a restaurant in Mexico less than 3 stars if it has air conditioning. My husband and I were dying walking around Tulum in the midday heat. We walk back to the shops and run straight into this restaurant. It was a godsend. It could have had the worst food in the world and I would still love this place. This place is great in theory. The menu touts a lot of food is made in house. I decided to go with the chicken sausage on a french baguette and my husband got a flatbread margarita pizza. I found the sausage very weird tasting. I also wasn't too impressed with the baguette. If you go you should probably stick with the pizza. The pizza was pretty good. I enjoyed eating it on a flatbread. Nothing earth shattering, but I enjoyed it more than the sausage. The service here is fantastic. Our server was very attentive and even though he only spoke a little English, we had no problems communicating. If I end up in this area again, I would come back, just out of sheer gratitude that it saved us from the heat of the day. read more

Decided to switch it up and go for pizza today. No regrets. We got the baguette sandwich "the monster" and one pizza.. the spicy one. I forgot the name. This placed saved us from heat stroke ! On our way into the ruins we stopped in mainly to use the clean bathroom and have an ice cold beer so that we could use them. Owner greeted us welcomed us and showed me some local craft beers . We ended up having one of their thin crust pizzas and oh my it was yummy . AC here saved us seriously from heat stroke . We then hit the ruins and stopped in again for another ice cold beer. Love it love it , veal nice venue with a tentative staff . I feel ridiculous giving a pizza place that's stuck right in the middle of the touristy Tulum Ruins Plaza O'Tacky Gifts. But dang. This pizza is really good. The service is dynamite. The draft beers are great. The air-conditioning is even better. I was surprised by how cool the interior of Salciccium was when we entered: so modern, so clean. The pizza is on a paper thin crust but the ingredients are bursting with flavor. Such great value. A wonderful experience. If you're out and about visiting the ruins, this should be your lunch stop. Bomb.com! My sister said it best: "We are gonna come back here every year." We have 2 timeshares in Cancun and go there alot as you can imagine. So this spot is located in the food court / vendor area as you walk from the bus parking to Tulum archeological site. Is a modern place inside and honestly I felt like I was back home in Redondo Beach, CA. My sister got the Pizza, and she was raving about it. They have a legit brick pizza oven and made a real nice thin crust Napolitano style pie. I had the Monster sausage sandwich...damn that thing was huge and really good. I really wasn't expecting it to be that large but def was pleasantly surprised, cuz when on vacation I def ain't on diet mode. They do offer some local craft-brew beer, and since my sister's husband is a big homebrewer we had to try some...It was decent/ not great. Go here for the AC, stay for the cold beer and great service. You need AC after visiting Tulum and this place is great. Our server was so kind and very friendly. I honestly don't remember what we ate, but we left very happy. TIP-There is a large open store (but with a ceiling) next door to this place that had VERY good prices on souvenirs. Eat here, shop there. Also, just pay the 20 pesos (one way) to ride the little train from the bus stop to the entrance of Tulum because it will save you the anguish of walking in heat while smiling passengers pass you by on their breazy train. read more

A gem, where we expected a tourist trap! We happened to get here by accident, which was a lucky punch. Luis and Andres, the two owners and brothers from Barcelona, do truly a fantastic job. Their self-made sausages (salchichas) are delicious!!! Either go for the Catalan style if you like it traditional or for the Argentinian style for a little more complex flavored sausage. Second time coming to this place. I was initially impressed with them because it was the first time I ever had craft beer in Mexico. The beer was good but only had 2/4 beers available. The pizza was terrible and they don't allow you to mix and match toppings. The sausage was bland and not fully cooked. Probably won't be returning. It's a shame because they are next to the Tulum Ruins and could really increase sales by making a few small changes to the menu and presentation. read more
