To say this place is amazing is an understatement. If you are able, you must go. Do not pass this place up. We went here twice for dinners during our stay and countless times for a dessert - I don't even want to admit the amount of times we went back for their tiramisu. They had $8 pizzas, and being used to USA prices and sizes thought it would be small. It was not. It was comically large. We got two the first time, but it was fun because it made excellent leftovers for our pool days. The pepperoni, four cheese, and margaritas were all great - thin crust, doughy enough on the outside edges. I wouldn't change a thing. I was very impressed. We wanted to try their tiramisu and like I said earlier it hit! The BEST I've ever had. I am already missing that after traveling home. If I could give Pizzeria Manglar more than 5 stars on Yelp I most definitely would! I've been here countless times last week and many times in the past while vacationing in Tulum. Everything is absolutely EXCELLENT here. Visit one, we enjoyed pizza- four cheese, pepperoni, and margarita, fries, guacamole, and yummy n/a piña colada. OH! I cannot forget the OUT OF THIS WORLD tiramisu! Let me tell you this is the VERY BEST tiramisu I've ever had. Each time I had it, it got better, and better. I literally don't want to share a bite with anyone ever! Next time I come to Tulum, I will be getting it DAILY, instead of 4 out of 7 times. I have no shame! Our service from the same 3 servers each visit were great each and every time. They were friendly and so nice. I laughed each time we went in there wondering if they knew it was us, again? Haha! Crazy crazy crazy that you find INCREDIBLE pizza in Tulum Mexico. Even my sweetheart, who is Italian, loved it. He ordered a custom pizza with anchovies olives and extra mozzarella cheese. It was even better the next day. You always reheat pizza in a frying pan with a little olive oil. Temperature on low- cover with a lid for about 5 minutes . The best!! read more

A MUST! What a delicious and cute spot for Pizza, Salad and Pasta. We came here twice during our 4 day stay in Tulum. This is definitely a hidden gem because you won't see it off the main road but once you find it you really see how inviting it is. We started with the wing appetizer. Although small, they were cooked well and sauced evenly . The additional side sauce was nice but not needed. The thin stone oven pizza is delicious. I'm not even a pizza lover (not worth the calories) but this pizza was so good. We had both the pepperoni and the margarita. They come in a medium size but can easily feed 4 people. Also the Manglar salad!!! Y'all first they found the cutest way to serve the dressing with salad and the salad is a great serving size. On top of all that it's actually delicious. They also offer non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The Fresas are good and the mojitos are large. I would not order a Margarita here however, it just wasn't good. Service was great both times - dine In & takeout. We came in and order food to go but they do offer delivery through the local food delivery service. Our dine in meal cost us $49 for two medium pizzas, wings, two salads, 4 juices, and 1 mojito. 10 out of 10 would recommend! read more

No one talks about the lasagna at this place. Yes I know this is about pizza but now the real star here is the lasagna. I loved dining here because for some reason they had the mosquitoes under control they were not biting us even though we were sitting outside it was so comfortable they had fans going and it felt cool. my group ordered mostly pizzas except for my child, he ordered a lasagna. Out of curiosity, I decided to have a little taste, and my eyes widened. The sauce used in this recipe was different than the ones used in the pizza. This was a complete sauce. It was perfectly balanced. They had the perfect amount of salt and sweetness and it was fully rounded with the meat that was in it, it is a lasagna that I dream of and I can't believe I had it in Mexico. I've never had one like it in the US. We were not sure how big the pizzas were going to be so we each order our own, which is a big mistake. These are large pizzas are made for sharing they're not individual size which we had no idea but no regrets. I love that this place is open very late and it was literally right behind our Airbnb which I had no idea you just have to walk through a very questionable dark alley. The price for a Pepperoni Pizza was 135 pesos , about $7.17 American , 6.45 euro, 5.52 sterling. I ordered the Pizza extra crispy ( extra Crujiente ) . I read the Yelp reviews of a few that had not been done enough. But I always like mine extra crispy. It was very dark when I walked into the restaurant. A number of candles were lit but it was dark. I went to the cashier and told her I had a pick up order. Gave her the name ( my daughter ordered it over the phone, she speaks much better Spanish than I do ). The order was ready and waiting ( they said 10 minutes on the phone) The pizza was good ( not the best I have had ) but good. This is a straight pepperoni pizza. Came here on a quiet evening, place was not too busy. Atmosphere was right on, very nice and laid back vibe. My kids enjoyed the pasta bolognese, and the pepperoni pizza, zero complaints on their part. My wife and I enjoyed the Papitas Pizza, was quite different than what we've tried in the past but was tasty in its own way. The pizza Itself was fresh and a good size to share. Menu was reasonably priced, although their cocktails left much to be desired. The service was absolutely horrible, our server, the slim Italian lady, seemed to be in a terrible mood the whole time and never even cracked a smile. I don't expect our server to make us laugh or to be cheery but DAMN at least act like you want to serve us. She never came back to check on us after the food was served, I had to get up and ask for the bill, again, place was not even busy. That was way too much food. We thought they were individual pizzas but they were large. Pizzas are thin crust so 2 would have been ample! One size only. Food wise, the pizzas werent cooked enough for our liking. Almost like the oven wasnt hot enough. I think its a wood oven so maybe hard to regulate the temp? The crust was too soft for the toppings. Boxes were provided for take home. Flavors were decent. The favorite was the pizza with pineapple and ham. The one with anchovy, seemed to not have enough anchovy. We stayed in Tulum town for 2 weeks and ordered from here 3 to go times. We didn't eat in so can't comment on that, but the pizzas we ordered (4 cheese, campesino, papitas, vegetarian) were all really good. It took about 20 minutes from order to pick up, but we called by 7. When my husband went to pick up people were being told 40 minutes so advise going early if you are in a hurry. read more
